The food was absolutely amazing! We took family visiting from out of town and they were very impressed with the cuisine! From the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert; each course was exceptional! The service was prompt but never intrusive. We appreciated the attention to detail. It was a lovely late summer evening and we sat outside on the porch which was delightful. The only minor downside was the occasional traffic noise from BarennHill road. A pause in the conversation was needed to wait for a loud car or motorcycle to pass. Not horrible by any means. What a wonderful restaurant!
Menu is limited - Just the French country classics, but oddly no chicken main dishes. Filet mignon was perfect and also enjoyed chicken liver pate. Server was stiff with no interaction. Ambiance is excellent inside, but patio area needs more attention to improve ambiance.
Food amazing, we went to the Brunch and had a great meal. Planning on going back again soon.
Delicious salad and entree.
The road noise outside is a bit too loud.
This was our first “nice restaurant” dinner out since before 3/20. It was wonderful!!! Can’t wait to go again!!!!
As usual, a wonderful meal at Spring Mill.
The Tagine was amazing and service impeccable. One of our favorite restaurants!
As always, absolutely great! Loved the special grilled sardines appetizer. Amazing.
Spring Mill Cafe on a humid Sunday evening was delightful. We sat outside but under cover. Service was attentive and the food ( crab salad, tomato salad, black bean soup and the lamb stew entree) were consistently excellent.
Hard to beat Spring Mill Cafe for an easy and tasty Sunday evening dinner with friends!
Excellent execution of well-curated menu. Escargot tender and the best I've had anywhere from Boston to DC in years. Delicious rabbit entree, and wonderful fresh desserts.
Absolutely thrilled with the experience! Can’t wait to come back!
Lovely to eat outside-a bit of noise from the road tho. Wait staff friendly and the service very prompt-almost too fast! The appetizers and main courses were excellent, dessert very good. Overall a pleasant experience. Would rerun.
Super.....everything was just as I'd planned and hoped it would be!!
Celebrated our 2nd year wedding anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place. Food was amazing and authentically French. The escargots were as good as can be and the filet melted like butter. Great service too!!!
Excellent food and a nice atmosphere. Waitress was a little spacey and forgot some basic things like cream and sugar for my coffee and asking if I wanted a refill. The value parking pulled so hard on our handbrake that it got stuck for a while, but fortunately we were able to resolve the problem. BYOB is a nice perk. Food is unusual and inspired. I would recommend it for a special occasion.
The presentation was amazing and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.
We had a very attentive wait staff and the food was very good. Definitely a place to go back to.
Great food. Excellent service. We only wished our anniversary would have been mentioned by the hostess or server.
It is always a pleasure to dine at Spring Mill Cafe.
A truly wonderful spot. Amazing staff atmosphere and food.
It was as enjoyable as always to have an al fresco dinner on the porch.
Excellent, reasonable restaurant. I highly recommend
Not welcoming! Stoic faces! My pork chop was overcooked. It felt different, not for the better, than prior visits to the Cafe
First visit. Everything was great. We ate inside I think it might be a bit noisy outside since they are close to the street.
The sautéed kale was terrible. The cook had not removed the stalks which rendered it inedible. In addition, the brand did not not go well with the halibut which was delicious. So was the shrimp appetizer.
Spring Mill Cafe is a wonderful dining area experience. Good food and service. Delightful spot. Our guest had been at Spring Mill Cafe one other time so this was a special treat. A gift certificate given to us was an added bonus. Love, love, love Spring Mill Cafe

Another wonderful experience!!!
Brunch with my girls on Sunday and so glad they too had an awesome experience. As always Amanda was great and hospitable. The indoor setting was comfortable, peaceful and spacious.
It was so nice to go back to this wonderful restaurant ... We went for brunch and, as always, the service was impeccable. We were mostly happy with our dishes. My Shakshouka was not as I expected, but tasty. I expected the eggs to be poached with the vegetables .... There are so many variations on this but I think it would've been tastier prepared that way.
We'll be back for sure!
Food is always consistently good whether you’re looking for a lite meal or soup to nuts, they have it for you. Been coming here for years and always like being in another country. Love it
Food always spectacular, service impeccable. A little noisy in the back room.
My husband had the rabbit and said it was delicious. I had the pork chop and it was also delicious!. Great food awesome service
Best restaurant in the area. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The menu choices are amazing. Appetizers, entrees and desert were all amazing.
Always a pleasure to visit Spring Mill Cafe. A bit of a drive but certainly worth the trip. Excellent in every way!
We have been going to Spring Mill for many, many years -- it is our favorite place for dinner out.
We really enjoyed ourselves, food was very delicious!
First time dining for brunch at Spring Mill and we enjoyed it. Will have to come back for dinner another time and now we know it is BYOB...didn't see this when I reserved.
Excellent and best French Restaurant outside of France, right here in the USA in my neighborhood!!!!
Always wonderful. A French rustic oasis with an excellent varied menu.
Spring Mill Cafe is a decade plus favorite of ours. Ambience varies greatly by table and we were in the smaller back room last night which was a bit loud (that obviously varies by fellow diners....). However, the food was delicious, as is usually the case, and their menu is always interesting and different. French and Moroccan influences (we had rabbit and Tanjine respectively) - it is not your standard menu but that is what makes Spring Mill special for us. It is never the same old same old. Christina our server was funny and responsive (told us her name was Kim if were not happy with the service :-) We were. The daffodil cake is a favorite of the Mrs. A truly unique take on this type of cake and delicious (don't tell but she likes a piece to go to have for breakfast :-) Anyway, we will be back again and again, as always.
