The food was great. The menu is small, so you won't have a lot of options. There was only one entree, for instance, that interested me. But, everything we ate was great. The only negatives I can say are 1) the server wasn't very knowledgeable about the wine list, 2) my fish was far too buttery, masking the other flavors and 3) the appetizer portion for the burrata dish was tiny for the price. The meal was so good, but for the price, there are better places. Definitely worth trying out, and I'm sure I'll be back.

Outstanding presentation and preparation. Every serving(ie., appetizers, entrees and deserts were uniformly delightful. For us, our visit was a culinary happening, among the very few really superb dining experiences we have ever had. We'll be back!

Don't let the small menu scare you away. The dishes are exquisite, and the service was superb. The train rolling by feet away from the door can be annoying. The portions are moderate. The menu changes regularly, so what we had may not be on the next menu, but everything we had was excellent. Recommend enjoying Spring.

Seasonal farm to table with superb and surprising results. So glad they chose the old Cafe Crepe building - treasure in itself. Our biggest surprise was the asparagus soup!

Spring is an outstanding restaurant for good tasting food. I love the uniqueness of the dishes and the menu is incredible. I love everything about SPRING except their prices. The cost per dish is high. It would keep me from coming a couple of times a year but I wish the prices were a bit lower so I could come more often. Overall, a very good experience.

This restaurant is nearly impossible to find. In the back of a building on the railroad tracks. The bench you sit at desperately needs a cushion. They serve you one slice of bread and believe me you are going to want more. Why? Because the portions in this place are so small you will not leave satisfied! The beet salad had two small strawberries and three slices of beet. The burrata cheese was a smear, with 4 leaves of arugala. The pate came on two small slices of French bread. The lamb was two very small chops. The flounder was about 2 ounces swimming in a butter sauce. None of the food was worth talking about. We did not waste our time on dessert.

Spring is a gift to Marietta. Food is delicate...and I mean that in the most pointed of descriptions. Come prepared to savor every bite and taste the ingredients. If you don't, you will miss the essence of what Spring is about. I can see how the elegance of the food could be missed. We love this place. If you are just looking for a place to chow down, this isn't it. I do not mean that in an arrogant way. There are plenty of times when a steak or a burger are on my list. Spring is not for that...it is something fundamentally different, and terrific in it's own right. The food is not stuffy, but it does require that you savor it to fully appreciate the care that went into assembling and preparing the food.

4/29/2017 - Spring was great, first time there and it was for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary. The place is very small and gets very loud is the biggest drawback. You are surrounded by brick so when every table is full (they have 12-14 tables it looks like) it is very loud. Very small menu with 4 to 5 apps and entrees. Food was outstanding. Apps - I had the chicken liver pate, with a blackberry jam on a brioche toast and my wife had the white cream of asparagus soup topped with a crab and both were nice. Entrees - I had the rabbit done 3 ways (loin, sausage and small riblets) and my wife had the rack of lamb. Probably could have had 3 cuts instead of the 2 that was presented as for the price I think 3 is more appropriate. We finished with the dark chocolate tart that was chocolaty and delicious.

The food was excellent and the service was great as well. Make sure you make reservations as the restaurant is small.
