About Sprig Restaurant
Largest Bourbon Selection in Atlanta over 200 Bourbons and Whiskeys..
99% Gluten Free Menu..
We are a locally owned souther cusine restaurant that sources some of our ingredients we cook with are sourced from local and regional farms, dairies and ranches guided by principles of sustainability when possible. EVERYTHING we make (vegetables, sides, sauces, accompaniments, dressings, soups, fries, etc.) is made FROM SCRATCH. It takes longer to prepare and costs us a lot more to our bottom line, but at the end of the day we fell better knowing that we’re serving the community great food while supporting “the little guy.”
We also have local beers on tap, an extensive wine list and craft cocktails.

Sprig Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Everything I've eaten there (and this was my second visit) was delicious. I particularly liked the brussels sprouts appetizers (crisp and seasoned just right), but I also enjoyed the wild caught salmon with root vegetables. They change their menu seasonally, so the menu fits on one large page, but I still had trouble picking between several offerings that sounded great. I think it's my favorite restaurant in the area and only wish it were a bit less noisy. I liked, however, that I didn't feel like I was being rushed out of the place in order to seat the next diners.
I regularly dine here and this night was quite disappointing. I had raved about the place to my boyfriend and Service was very slow. Waited a long time for our waiter to finally show up then come back to take our food order and to then later check on us. I was again extremely disappointed with the new version Seafood Fritto Mitto. I have raved about it and the new version has no sweet spicy chili sauce nor great taste, but just a bunch of fried dry seafood pieces that tasted like prepackaged fried seafood from a grocery store's frozen section. Extremely disappointed they changed this once amazing appetizer. It was a regular purchase. Please bring the old version back!!!
It's always a great time at Sprig! The weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas never fails to satisfy. The waitstaff is incredible and knowledgeable about the menu, they're always happy to make substitutions for diet restrictions, and I've yet to eat anything short of delicious. This time we opted to share appetizers tapas style - stone ground cheese grit fries, brussels sprouts, and pimento cheese and they did not disappoint.
While I'm not a regular, this was not my first visit. It was, however, my first lunch. Consequently, I didn't realize they closed at 2:30 before reopening later for dinner. So what started out as a leisurely meal at 1:30, ended with a sprint to the finish. I'll make earlier reservations next time.
Conversely, service began somewhat disconnected, but ended up more engaged. The meal was, as usual, very good. My guest, was a first-timer and plans to return - and so will I.
We arrived at our reservation time and Sprig did not have a table quite ready yet. Perhaps a previous group stayed longer than expected, so no complaints on that. We waited in an uncomfortable space by the front door about ten minutes and our hostess then led us to our table. Our waitress, who turned out to be delightful, was young and still learning but did a good job of describing the special. She either got my bourbon drink order wrong or undercharged me for it. She brought our friends' white wine but it was a half hour later she remembered to bring a chiller tube for it. Better late than never. She had to be prompted to refill water glasses once. It probably has more to do with poor on the job training because Sofia seemed bright and willing to work.
The four of us all enjoyed our entrees very much. My shrimp and grits was the best I ever tasted. However it would have seemed more complete if just one or two more shrimp were included.
The atmosphere at Sprig is casual and understated. There is nothing particularly elegant or fancy about the decor. It is clean enough. They set the table with nice silverware and linen napkins. I felt very comfortable in that regard. I think the liquor list is too long but a bourbon aficionado would likely enjoy the selection. The most important thing is that the food is exceptionally good. I will be back again and again.
