We are a locally owned souther cusine restaurant that sources some of our ingredients we cook with are sourced from local and regional farms, dairies and ranches guided by principles of sustainability when possible. EVERYTHING we make (vegetables, sides, sauces, accompaniments, dressings, soups, fries, etc.) is made FROM SCRATCH. It takes longer to prepare and costs us a lot more to our bottom line, but at the end of the day we fell better knowing that we’re serving the community great food while supporting “the little guy.”
We also have local beers on tap, an extensive wine list and craft cocktails.
Fun atmosphere but quite loud. Not the best location for a quiet chat. Food is very good.
Amazing, as always. Perfect for any occasion! The food is the best in Atlanta, it’s my favorite restaurant by far. Their dessert menu lacks some imagination though, compared to their overall menu’s variety and interest. Overall a wonderful experience.
Food is great. Had grouper tacos as an appetizer, short ribs as an entree... both excellent. Professional, seamless service at the bar. Brough in a bottle of wine...reasonable corkage fee (15.). A little noisy, but unfortunately, that's pretty common these days.
First timer. Our waiter was very informative on bourbon selections and tasting scale and offered up several bar specials going on. The brussels sprout appetizer was fantastic. Enjoyed the vegetable plate being offered and it was very tasty. Friends said the grouper taco's were great and also the trout. I thought overall the price tag was reasonable and the service was excellent.
Very tasty food, well prepared and attentive service. One of our favorite restaurants.
Sprig's food is always delicious and freshly prepared. Their grits sticks are to die for.
My wife and I went to Sprig with my parents for a nice dinner. My wife’s crab cakes were not done, the service was poor at best (we had to ask for silverware, and our water glasses were constantly empty - had to ask multiple times to get them refilled).
Food and drinks were great.
We have eaten there many, many times., and, although the place was very noisy, the food was pretty good.
Was very disappointment this last time... The eggplant parmesean was very dry, tasteless (hardly any tomato sauce). Bread was hard. Didn't even eat it... A friend who ordered the lamb stew liked his. I tasted it and thought it was tasteless. My husband thought the hamburger was too big and without taste also and not juicy..... Is there a new cook there??
Our waiter was not friendly at all....
Also, we had to ask to have the volume of the music turned down.
Modern and cozy with great service and reasonably priced menu!
I'm originally from Raleigh, but moved away 10 years ago. My mom lives just down the street and I discovered Sprig about a year ago, and now it's my go-to restaurant anytime I'm meeting someone. The staff is wonderful, ambience is cozy and charming and the food is outstanding!! Wish one would open up in Raleigh (or wish I'd moved back to Atlanta!!)
Great place for our book club! Thanks!
The food quality has waned and is now not commensurate with the cost.
Excellent luncheon with a friend, perfectly prepared and served. Sprig never lets me down- we ordered Turkey club sandwich on gluten free toasted bread (thank you, Sprig! Also fish tacos which were uniquely prepared and delicious ! Finished with more conversation and coffee. Could not improve on this experience!
It is disappointing to find the quality of Sprig’s food seemed to have slipped. We had fish tacos, salad with salmon, and burger in addition to 3 appetizers. All but the grit fries were underwhelming. We want to support our neighborhood restaurant but I think I’ll be hard pressed to convince my husband to return.
My husband is gluten intolerant and one of our guests is going through food allergy elimination testing. Staff at Sprig made our guests feel welcome, accommodating the restrictions, and everyone had a great meal.
the brussel sprouts were amazing. also , my trout was excellent. wonderful service. nice to be outdoors; which was quieter than indoors.
appreciate getting to get a sample of the unfamiliar wine before ordering it (which I did)
It was a lovely early spring evening and a busy evening at Sprig so we opted to dine on the patio and did not have to contend with noise. Our dinners were just right and our servers were ever so pleasant. Sprig is a neighborhood favorite! We’ll be back early and often. Thank you, Sprig!
Stephen our waiter was outstanding. Friendly, helpful, genuine, all with a wonderful attitude.
I ordered the bottomless poinsettia & it was so good I thought I was drinking a rose’. The mushroom and spinach quiche (weekly quiche) brunch meal is just enough to hit the spot. It’s cooked well, not too light & the crust is delicious.
The food and drinks are always excellent. Wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
Excellent dining experience! Food was perfectly prepared, delicious and priced right. Love the patio. We are coming back 3/23 for more!!
Usually our visits to Sprig are great, but this last visit was a complete fail. We have a toddler, and will usually book a reservation on the way (saves us time when we are dealing with car seat, etc.) - I think management needs to review their policy with open table, because this reservation seemed to take them by surprise. It was 8 minutes before the time, and usually that is not an issue. We waited to be seated for 30 minutes (with a toddler at nap time and an 88 year old, so not the best start) then sat in the center of the restaurant for 20 minutes with no acknowledgment from our server. 9 minutes in, the manager brought over waters, then we continued to wait for a server. We ordered brussels (SO GOOD) and biscuits, but the server forgot about the biscuits (our peace offering to the toddler) and they came out later. The toddler meal came first but it was such a long time between our meal and the kiddo's meal - he was completely done by the time our food arrived at 2:10 (for a 12:40 arrival). I spoke with the manager on duty who was kind to send us home with complimentary dessert but no one really seemed bothered by how long it took for our meal. Our family always asks to go to Sprig when they visit, but now we are not sure if we will be back. It's too bad because we love the world famous cab burger and the fresh made dressings are always a fave.
Delicious gluten free menu with an exceptional bourbon list. Great place!
Asked for better table; request not granted, although table stayed vacant the entire time.
Birthday Event. 1st Server was terrible & was relieved. 2nd Server very nice, but too slowly paced. Food mediocre. I feel this place is more of a bar than a restaurant. My 2nd & last visit.
Would like to see more menu options.
Wish you could do something about the noise level.
Loved it. Everything tasted so good and fresh. From the brussel sprout appetizer to cookie skillet for dessert it was all so amazing.
Pleasant neighborhood spot. Reasonable prices. Better for brunch and lunch
Good food and good service. Will be going again
Noisy! Friday night at 630 is not a good time for this place. Server never smiled and I felt rushed to place my order. While my friends enjoyed their meal, my "almond crusted" trout was less than crusted (I'm being kind). The fish was cooked correctly and tasted good. The bourbon bread pudding was not warm or evenly warmed and the coffee was not hot. It will be awhile before I venture back to Sprig.
Grouper tacos were awesome! They were cooked perfectly, served hot. Portions are big!
Shrimp and grits were also super tasty.
I will drive out of my way to return.
Old fashion hit the spot as I waited for my guest to arrive. Thia chicken sandwich with the avocado was perfect. Fries could have been a little crisper but it has that homemade cut/flavor which I liked. And my guest loved her grouper sandwich. Said it was good and light and nicely seasoned. We both left satisfied but not disgustingly full. Will definitely go back but during the dinner hour and try more from their extensive bar.
Consistently good food and service. Our neighborhood go to place.
Always good, seasonal, gluten free food. Most entrees are gluten free! They are most accommodating for food allergies.
Enjoyed it. Our server, Cecile I think, was great and attentive. The food was awesome and filling
The food is not bad, but not good enough that I would hurry back. Had the lamb stroganoff. Sauce was soupy and the lamb was dry. Bread pudding was room temp rather than warm as was the coffee. Left disappointed.
Great neighborhood place. Very quaint with friendly staff. I was there with 5 business associates as we we were running late I called to be polite, the hostess was extremely polite and accommodating. The server was personable and honored all of my guests’ special requests. The food was very well prepared and tasty with great presentation. The staff seemed to work well together so the service was prompt and efficient. What else can you ask.
