We are a locally owned souther cusine restaurant that sources some of our ingredients we cook with are sourced from local and regional farms, dairies and ranches guided by principles of sustainability when possible. EVERYTHING we make (vegetables, sides, sauces, accompaniments, dressings, soups, fries, etc.) is made FROM SCRATCH. It takes longer to prepare and costs us a lot more to our bottom line, but at the end of the day we fell better knowing that we’re serving the community great food while supporting “the little guy.”
We also have local beers on tap, an extensive wine list and craft cocktails.
Great time! I love having Sprig in our neighborhood as a “go to” place for a nice meal out in a casual atmosphere.
Good food and great service. Terrific drinks. Order the fried deviled eggs. In fact, a couple plates of those babies with one of their signature drinks, makes this the best meal in town.
The food was just average or worse when you consider how the food was presented. The sausage patties literally looked like someone took two bites out of them. Apparently someone noticed, because they hid it under other food... Omelet eggs were runny, as in not fully cooked, and home fries by Sysco. They claim to be farm to table: it is pretty obvious for anyone who sees what you can order from Sysco, it is not Farm to Table. Wife's mimosa was 3-6oz made with cheap headache inducing sparkling wine and the super cheap high fructose orange juice you get in the crap section of the grocery store. Very disappointed I think the server was simply too busy to figure out how to make you feel like you were not wasting your time and money at a subpar restaurant. There is a pretty good spot across the street (Kitchen Six?) and the experience is fantastically better. Honestly hope this place goes out of business because Atlanta does not need another "just OK" restaurant.
We went about a year ago and the experience was amazing. Since then they have trim down the drink menu and the food was not nearly as good as it was last year the service was terrible will not be going again. So disappointing as we had such a good time last year I think they've changed management or something.
Great drinks and food. Highly recommend an Old Fashioned or Sprig Mule! Also the Stroganoff was delicious even if you arent an stroganiff fan, as was the carbonara. The glutten free fried chicken was wonderfully tender and mac n cheese was a huge win! Thank you Sprig for the tastey alternatives! ❤
Caprese was good. Burger bun fell apart. Onion rings were loaded with salt. After one Dewars, they ran out. Service was good.
Friends getting together. Food and service was amazing.
We have always loved Sprig and looked forward to another great meal there. Unfortunately we were very disappointed Friday night. The blackened mahi-mahi special dish was dry and lacked flavor. The manager gave me a new meal but it was too late to really enjoy it. The fried chicken was good and juicy as usual, but it was very loud so we couldn’t have much conversation. Also, our waitress only checked on us once or twice and we are used to the wait staff being much more attentive. For the money we paid, I was disappointed with the whole experience and will likely try other places rather than returning.
The best neighborhood spot for a delicious brunch lunch or dinner! Food is always fresh and delicious! Great service with a smile!
Had a great meal! The fried deviled eggs were yummy as was the pimento cheese dip! We also ordered the ‘small’ salads with salmon and chicken and they were a very generous size and delicious! My son, a burger lover, loved his meal too. Hostesses and waitstaff were delightful too! Looking forward to our next visit.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant!
I love Sprig's outdoor seating. It's quiet and very pleasant, even on a warm summer evening. The woods next door must keep cool air flowing! It's the perfect, neighborhood spot for a tasty summer salad with berries with protein. Very enjoyable! A neighborhood gem!!
Sprig is a neighborhood favorite. Good food, pleasant service, happy atmosphere.
Great place! Good food, wonderful ambiance, and quiet enough for conversation. Will definitely return.
As always, a great time at Sprig. Servers are ideal—attentive, but not on top of you. Food, excellent. Cocktails, enticing. Perfect little restaurant.
Although nothing was amiss at the restaurant, this would be the one and only time we go. There was nothing special or stood out to us. We had the fried green tomatoes and seafood misto for apps, lamb stroganoff, shrimp and grits, and burger for entrees, and the peach cobbler for dessert. Like I said, everything was adequate, but not super delicious that I would want to go back. The waitress gave us a fake feeling of niceness, almost condescending sometimes. I know the wait staff are usually faking it, but she was obvious. We still tipped 20% since that's just the kind of people we are, but again, not going back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Sprig is one of our favorite restaurants but we have had better food there. I think the problem is we arrived at the peak of the busiest time so care was not taken with the food. It started great with delicious cocktails and mussels. We also had the fried oysters ( one of our usual choices ) but they were not cooked enough and the coating tasted raw. Our entrees did not fare much better. My advice is to go early when the chef takes more time or go on a week night. We will be back.
An absolute neighborhood gem!
My aunt and I had one of our long lunches at Sprig this past Wednesday and loved it. She had the special, broccoli quiche and I had the broiled grouper sandwich with cole slaw.
Both good. Our charming waiter, Mr. Moon (did not catch first name) kept us up to date on the Wimbledon scores. A very nice afternoon and we will be back.
BTW, extra points for your immaculate ladies’ room!
Excellent farm-to-table food! You can taste how fresh the ingredients are and the chef knows how to combine them. Extensive bourbon list in a relaxed setting. If we ever move to Atlanta, we will find a house near Sprig!
I love the food & atmosphere here!
The food was good and the server did the best she could, but they were out of quite a few menu items and that upset my mother. My recommendation is to go to brunch earlier. If not, you risk choosing from a very limited menu.
Came with friends for brunch on Sunday. Noise level was high but that’s to be expected. Seated very quickly and we had a great
all around view. Drinks were good and coffee was smooth. Fried green tomatoes were firm and very flavorful. Sweet chili calamari was the groups favorite. I had the blackened Benedict. Yummmm!! Finished it off with the Bourbon Alexander and The strawberry cheesecake. My friends had the lemon pound cake. I wish the strawberry compote was thicker. Sauce more like it and it was too thin to be effective. The skillet cookie and pistachio ice cream was a hit. Overall great experience. Server was very good. It was busy so I knew he couldn’t be too attentive but he did a good job.
Food was very good, server was attentive, pleasant and engaged. Large portions. Honored reservation right on time. Plenty of parking. Two relatively minor issues: the appetizer came out no more than a minute or two before the entrees were served and overall, took a bit too long to get our food. Notwithstanding, we will return and hope for a quicker kitchen.
I really love Sprig. I don't live all that close and have to go out of my way to eat there but it is totally worth it. The people are always lovely and the food is fantastic. It fits a lot of situations, great for a girls night out, family dinner or just lunch by yourself. I can't wait to go back!
Awesome host and wait staff. We truly enjoyed brunch.
A great neighborhood restaurant. The food and the service are consistently superb. Sprig buys from local growers and the menu changes seasonally. You can never go wrong with the seafood misto starter and the salmon entree.
Just get the “World Famous Sprig” burger. One of the best burgers I’ve had. The Grit Fries are pretty amazing too!
The restaurant was so loud that we couldn’t hear over the din. We finally stopped trying to have a conversation and ate in silence. The biscuits were hard, the green tomato on my veggie Benedict was hard and white (needed a knife to cut it with difficulty), there wasn’t enough dressing on the po boy, and the mimosas were skimpy. Very disappointing experience for what was supposed to be a special occasion.
Great food! Tons of gluten free options. Excellent cocktails. We loved all the bourbon options. We’ll definitely be back!
First time for brunch at Sprig. It was excellent.
No complaints about food or service. However, the noise level was uncomfortable.
Busy Friday evening. Hostess seated us immediately at a nice 4 top in the rear section. Wait staff attentive all evening without being overbearing. Apps, Entree and Dessert were all just fantastic. Fried oysters with compote was “The Best” Mussels and pot liquor, out of this world. Daily special filet on mashed potatoes w/grilled summer veggies will bring a smile to your face. 2 hours later with leftovers to go, we departed. You’ll not have a bad meal here. Not my first time by any stretch!
Good food and service. Overcoming background noise level required loud talking.
Always great food here. Server was very slow and wasn’t good.
What a delight! So over establishments that thinks ok to wait forever to eat brunch! This lovely gem takes reservations! I walked in the Farm 2 Table menus was diverse and familiar! Excellent coffee! Thoroughly enjoyed my smoked salmon Benedict and grits.
Great service and food. We ate al fresco, which was delightful.
Sprig is an outstanding little spot. Food is always impeccable and service great. I never have to wait. I highly recommend!
The atmosphere was lively, excellent service, great food, & drinks! management made my son’s 21st birthday special! We definitely will return frequently!
We went to Sprig with friends for dinner last Thursday, all four of us loved our choices. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner on Memorial Day to express gratitude to a friend. He had never even heard of it but also loved his lamb stroganoff as well. Great place for a casual evening out!
We always enjoy the food and service here! One of our favorites.
