Linguini Cacio e Pepe
pancetta, onion, pecorino
hazelnut mousse, blueberry compote, vanilla semifreddo
The turbo special and cacio e Pepe are excellent. Don’t skip dessert!
Was a special family dinner great experience
Delicious food and great service!
Really really good food, but the portions were a bit small
Amazing Authentic Italian Experience! Food was fantastic!
Always a treat. Don't miss the bucatini and any dish with Sunday gravy.
Fried olives were a hit , however a dipping sauce would have been a great addition to the appetizer. Food is very good but I but portions are petite , even if you are not a big eater.
Very pleasant experience. Definitely knew I should try it when a server at another restaurant recommended it.
Family in town
My husband and I went on a date night here but the atmosphere was a bit sterile. The homemade pasta was excellent. We ordered a salad with grilled lettuce that sounded delicious but it was really bad. The homemade sourdough bread that they serve is amazing. Overall the food was good. I wish they offered 1-2 other main meal options besides pasta and pizza. It would be great to have a choice of something a little healthier. Atmosphere lacks warmth or romance. If they just turned down the lights a little more and put a candle on each table and had better music it would make a world of difference!
Dinner was excellent!
Food, service, atmosphere - everything was great. Love this place
The staff was very helpful and attentive and the food was great
With the open kitchen concept the chefs decided to yell back and forth to each other . Unfortunately it wasn’t the most appropriate conversations. I don’t want to pay top dollar to hear profanity and extraordinarily loud people cooking.
Loved Christmas Eve at Sprezza! Food and drink delicious and service amazing! Highly recommend.
The restaurant was beautiful and the food was GREAT!
I have been dining here for years. Without fail the food has always been served hot. Piping hot. It’s one of the reasons Sprezza is one of my favorites. Last night all four dishes were served cold. Maybe lukewarm at best. That isn’t good enough.
This is a top spot for me and my wife. We love the menu that strikes a great balance between the Sprezza staples and fresh new cuisine. The service is always great. The menu is small, but everything, literally everything, is perfect.
We went mid-week, so there weren't too many people in the restaurant and it was a nice quiet atmosphere. We sat out on the patio, which was wonderful, and they even offered to bring out a heater for us if we needed it (we did not). The staff was very attentive and helpful, and were able to answer all of our questions about the pasta (all made in-house!) and the wines. Would definitely recommend Sprezza for some great Italian food! The Cacio e Pepe and Bucatini were both stellar, and for dessert the panna cotta is an absolute must.
Our server was great and walked us through the menu, as it was our first time there. They were amazing and the food was top notch!!
Ordered 2 pastas - one was good and the other was undercooked. Wine was average. Ambience was very good. Outside patio is very nice. Given the mixed experience on the food, we did not order any dessert.
Pizza was very good, ravioli was average but the pork belly had an odd sour flavor I didn’t love.
$2.50 for a single can of Coke is silly
Staff was attentive and pleasant
Great food, fresh ingredients.
Great food and excellent service! Patio is a bit noisy but to be expected next to a busy street.
Service was great!! I want to try the other restaurants in the family!
Excellent Roman Italian restaurant. They have done a great job of offering dishes that are unique to that area of Italy. The pastas are ALL excellent. The wine list is well sourced with wines from Umbria down to Sicily. Very good list. Top notch service, decor and environment which added to an already enjoyable meal. Highly recommended!
Gosh this place is good! The bread & butter is outstanding. Love the pizza & pasta.
Website said they were open until 10pm. Arrived for 7:15 reservation and after ordering one drink, we were told that the kitchen would be closing soon and the restaurant (which was fairly full) would be closing at 8:30pm. We ordered and appetizer and then chose to leave and had to find another restaurant. Additionally, they were very well staffed but we didn't have a single waiter and we received mixed message and had to wait to order drinks and appetizers. To make matters even worse, the music was too loud. Overall, we had a very negative experience and we will never return.
Marco and the food are both great
I have enjoyed the food at Sprezza before but this time my pasta was incredibly salty. In addition to that, the waiter never even introduced himself and was incredibly rushed with us every time he came to the table (which was not very frequently). It may have been an off night for them, but for the price of the food and the rarity of leaving the house these days it was a major disappointment.
Neighborhood gem for light Italian fare. Not much ambience but clean and good food and Italian wines. There is a really nice patio for al fresco dining!
We really enjoyed our evening and the waiter suggested some really nice wines. My only negative is that there is not too much to choose from that is gluten free. Also, portions are fairly small. The restaurant is beautiful and there is a lot of social distance.
Always a great experience, food, wine, service and ambiance all top notch
Everything by chef / owner Julian Barsotti are in the top spots in Dallas. We love that this is not mass produced pastas with heavy cheeses and sauces. Delicate handmade pastas, good cocktails,, and top notch service. Don't come here if you want a huge cheesy lasagna for 8 bucks.
Overall great first outing, resturant is nice and food was fresh and different but true to the Italian way. Overall good but felt lacking in Server knowledge between drink options and food choices. Some responses felt canned and the understanding of the prep of the dishes wasn't as educated as hoped when going to an establishment like this. As a sprezza first timer I did not feel I was introduced to the menu items as well as I hoped.

Amazing food and outstanding service
Donna! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We hope to see you again soon. Kathya Martinez General Manager
This is one of the best places in Dallas for fine dining at a reasonable price. The wine list is entirely Italian and extensive. The menu not only changes daily, but also seasonally. The waitstaff is always more than happy to explain the dishes in detail to ensure you have the best experience and get exactly what you will like. I can't say how much I like this place!!!
Great food and very good service
I can’t imagine how this restaurant has so many positive reviews, to us it was very average. To start, it is easier to decipher menus in Rome than this restaurant, with all the faux Italian descriptions. After google searching the items, we still had no idea. Seems like they are trying very hard to make you think they are authentic, which they are not.
Basically, the pasta is many variations of heavy cream, cheese and lifeless pasta. 4 ounces of Mac and cheese for $22.
Salad could have been good, but drenching fresh vegies in overbearing mayonnaise based sauce is more macaroni grill then a Roman restaurant.
The restaurant sits on a very busy road so definitely do not choose outside seating unless you want a constant stream of road noise and exhaust fumes. Or better yet, you would be much better off choosing one of the truly good Italian restaurants in the area rather than this fake overpriced/underperforming place.
service was a little slow..food was terrific..always a good overall experience..one of our favorites
