This used to be one of our favorite restaurants…so sad to see it so neglected by the owner…it was going downhill before Covid, and has continued to decline. The food and wine menu is very small, and they are always out of basic things. No seafood on the menu anymore…I think Mr Barsotti is giving his attention elsewhere
Outstanding food and service! I would definitely recommend Sprezza.
Friday night primetime reservations...
Back of the house was spot on; food marvelous and full of freshness and flavors. Pastas were both wonderful, very deep flavor if small servings.
Front of the house was a mess. The outside dining area shares servers with the inside in some odd pattern, like everyone inside has to cover 1 outside table, which leads to long stretches with no service, waiting for something as basic as water or bread. Yes they caught it and apologized but got the feeling it's a feature not a bug.
Not anything I'd expect at this price point, in this neighborhood, with the options one has around here. Food is very very good but... maybe caught them on an off night.
Sprezza is our go to place for a guaranteed exceptional dining experience. Chef Ryan has proven to us to be one of the gifted Chefs in the metroplex. From the Pizza to the desserts, never has a single dish not met our expectations...and our expectations are extremely high. Additionally, the staff at Sprezza treat each other and their guests like family, and that is reflected in the quality of service and food. If needing any other reason to go, Ryan will prepare a chef tasting, contingent on your budget, with only a 24 hour notice (be sure to include this request in your reservations). Sprezza is one of the best, if not the best!!!
Sprezza is a favorite, and the head chef and staff always make us feel at home. Can’t say enough great things about Sprezza!
One of the nicest patios in Dallas with the large covered porches and pet friendly. The antipasti were new for summer and the tomatoes were particularly delicious. We enjoyed both the pizza and pasta. Excellent food paired with some interesting regional wines.
Always a good dinner at Sprezza. My favorite place to go.
Sprezza is well worth a visit. I went with a friend and had the Camorra pizza and the Orecchiette. The Orecchiette did not really stand out but it was not bad either. My friend lived in Italy for a few years and he said the pizza was up to par.
Wonderful food and excellent service!!! A great selection of wine!
Food was amazing but the service was not great. Totally understand staffing issues but we had to ask for everything.
Our good friend moving out of town
Very good upscale casual dining. A bit over the top on pricing. $40 - including tip - for 2 drinks is NYC pricing at a hipster bar.
Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Come back and see us soon. Kathya Martinez General Manager
The service, the food, the atmosphere were all wonderful! I haven't enjoyed an evening with friends as much in the past few years. The menu offered quite a few interesting dishes. I will definitely go back and probably order different dishes just to try a few that I passed up!!! And best of all, we could actually talk to each other without shouting.
Service was spot on. The food did not disappoint!!
Food and service were both excellent, we were just unaware how small the portions are. Be sure to order multiple dishes if you come here.
Fantastic food and service as usual.
Service and food were excellent. Some road noise on the patio, but perfect weather and lovely space.
Great food and service as always. They’re short on staff now, but they book accordingly.
You can’t beat Sprezza for great food and service every time!
Sprezza never disappoints. Sat outside. The branzino was delicious, as was the gnocchi & ravioli. Panna cotta was also great. Service is top notch. They are still abiding by masks & spacing table. Nice to see concern for safety of staff & customers. Will definitely go back.
Sprezza is my go-to place for a great dinner. The food and service are consistently good and every friend I have taken there has enjoyed it as much I have.
The staff very very polite and helpful suggesting items to us from the menu and wine list. We had a belated birthday celebration in our group and who was unexpectedly treated to a very nice coffee with their dessert. The staff were also informative about their other restaurants in the Dallas area. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
Amazing service, so glad to see them open and all the familiar faces of pre-pandemic times. You can always count on the staff to make your time there feel very special. Food is even more fantastic than I remembered!
Great food and service. Love Sprezza!
Compliments to the Chef. While this is certainly an Italian restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by oysters on the half shell and kampachi . Both were perfectly prepared and seasoned. Chef please keep up the courage to innovate.
Our waiter, Marco, was excellent. A true professional.
Wonderful food! Casual atmosphere- great for any night of the week!
I was really excited to visit Sprezza but was let down by the experience. O
Amazing experience every time. Great food, drinks, and staff is so friendly and attentive.
The food and service here was outstanding. Will return.
Amazing Italian Wine & Food!
Wonderful!!!! Delicious food 😊
First time and just loved the place. Food is excellent and service was very good. Had a minor seating issue that was quickly fixed by Kathy the Manager. Plan on going back often
Sprezza is CONSISTENTLY stellar wine, food, service & energy! Always ready to return!
We were excited to start the weekend off at Sprezza, but were met with less than mediocre service that made us want to leave after ordering drinks. We seemed to be a bothersome to the waitstaff for being at the restaurant. The other tables sat in the same section were greeted with a much friendlier attitude as they were clearly regulars. We both come from the service industry so we weren't going to make a scene, but we quickly ate and left.
Pizza to start was average, 3 main dishes between us with only one having any flavor. Fairly dissapointing
Loved it- the food and environment- we can’t wait to come back!
Great space for friends. Not too large or loud. The server was knowledgeable, and you can taste wines before making a selection. He gave us healthy pours. The only negative was small portions creating less value for the money, and the menu was a limited.
