Service from hostess, bartender and server was outstanding. Our Server made several suggestions that were enjoyed very much. Food was well prepared, at the proper temperature and very, very flavorful. The Spotted Donkey was one of our best dining experiences this trip and will definitely be in our future plans.

The food and cocktails are great ! We always come to The Spotted Donkey when we are in town. It's become very popular over the years since the food has gotten so much better so you definitely need a reservation. Enjoy !

We come here once in a while because we like the atmosphere, food and service. The food is usually very good, no matter what we order. The serving sizes and prices are also reasonable. The only criticism related to this visit is that there was way too much salt on/in the food. Hopefully that won't happen again.

Food as always was outstanding. Service as usual was lacking. Seems whenever I go there on a girls night out they serve our food and then vanish into never never land. Never asked if we wanted another glass of wine, never filled our water glasses etc. disappointing that service is not what I expect from such a great restaurant.

The food and service were excellent. We reserved the side room which is always less noisy than the rest of the restaurant and that worked out well because it was quite busy that night. Our waiter was especially attentive, anticipated our needs and very helpful with questions about the menu.

After being seated we waited for a half hour without being talked to by anyone. We left and went back to The Boulders bar and had a nice dinner. They were severely understaffed. Saw other tables go inside to find their wait staff to get to-go boxes, bills, etc. Wish we would have been able to eat there, was looking forward to it. My rating is only for service, can’t rate the food, but it made me give a rating to all categories.
