But not for a working lunch. It was very noisy and hard to hold a conversation.
This place has gone downhill. I had 4 tables here and they failed to call and tell me they were having a private event. We had to go elsewhere
Not the best in service, our food came late and half of it was cold and not good. Otherwise, the place was awesome and had great energy.
Went there on an NFL Sunday. At 1pm, they had no NFL games on and no football sound. Apparently the DJ (only person who knows how to operate the screens) overslept that day. Took half an hour to get the games on and by then we were too annoyed to even stay. No manager apologized or even acknowledged what had happened. The entire place was livid. My NFL Sunday's when I have time to check out the games are extremely limited and this was a shame to experience at one of my favorite places
This was my first time going and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was amazing. The service was second to none. If you want to have a good time with great food this is the spot in the ATL. TWO THUMBS UP, IF I HAD 4 HANDS I WOULD GIVE S&S 4 THUMBS UP.
If you like to dance and listen to music this is the place. We took our daughter to celebrate her 15th birthday and she had a blast. Our 8 year old who has adhd enjoyed it as well.
Great place to go before taking in a Braves game. We made a reservation while planning our trip and didn't have to wait for a table.
Great atmosphere if you love sports. Huge big screen and TV's all around you.
Sour hostess staff - not friendly and bad attitude. Threw the menus on the table and left. Waitress was great but Poor food quality. However we only went there for the big screen to watch the draft. Too bad the food is terrible! wish this place had great service and food too!
Perfect sports bar venue undermined by poor service.
Extremely loud can’t enjoy anyone’s company
My boyfriend and I wanted to watch the NBA playoffs with some friends at Sports and Social. We called to see if they take reservations and the automated voice message stated they did not take reservations on Friday and Saturday. We go online and noticed that they actually do. When we get there, we asked for four different types of drinks which they stated they did not have. They have a very limited drink selection. I ordered fish tacos and they took almost an hour to get to me. The place was somewhat empty so not sure why the service was so slow. Needless to say, we will not be going back.
We watched the Tobacco Showdown and enjoyed the view on the big screen
Waitress was very attentive! I hate that I forgot her name.
When we arrived the hostess had a lot of attitude for our group and reservation. Our server however was awesome! The food, not so much. I would recommend if you must try this place sit outside. The volume of the TV's was unreal, no one could talk unless you yelled at each other. We ordered a wide variety of food and almost everything that we ordered was cold, even though it should have been hot. No, we did not send it back, yes, we should have.
The are a lot of place to try at the Battery, so I would give this one a hard pass. Really not worth it.
Good Sports bar, but the music is pumped a little too loud for my taste.
You would think by now they would have the whole reservation thing figured out. People were complaining in May that they were not honoring reservations...well...it's September and they still aren't. Their excuse? 'Everyone here has reservations, too, but they're just hanging out.' You're a sports bar, and you don't know that people hang out TO WATCH THE GAME?!? Don't bother.
They do not honor reservations on game day so don't waste your time making reservation.
We are 3+ hours away from Atlanta and we went to watch the FSU & Bama game, and it was great! Make your reservations on OpenTable otherwise if they're busy you might not get a table.
We made a reservation and when we arrived I was told by the server that they were overbooked by 40 reservations and she had no clue how long it would take. I specifically requested to be in the downstairs area with viewing of the large tv. However, 45 minutes after our scheduled reservation we were sat upstairs out of site of the large tv. I will never go back.
We came for football. I personally wasn't impressed. There was no sound for the games. There was no commercials. Instead, they showed some crazy stunts footage. I hated every minute of watching snippets of sports with crap in between. The only highlight.. our servers. She was great!
Great place... Awesome service...
This place was sooo much fun!! Highly recommended!!
I made a reservation for 7pm because I knew it was game day and I did not want to have a long wait time. I received a confirmation and showed up at the correct time only to be told that my reservation was invalid since it was game day and they "don't know why they allow reservations to still be made on game day" so they also knew it was an ongoing issue. I was told I could add my name to the list and wait the hour and a half wait time. very disappointed did not even eat there.
They don't take reservations on game day even though the system allows it.
Restaurant did not honor reservation. Seated after 30+ minute wait.
