Celebrity Chef John Howie's new sports themed restaurant. SPORT Restaurant & Bar is the culmination of Chef Howie’s passion for sports and food. SPORT’s food is casual in keeping with the sports restaurant theme…but so much more in keeping with a Chef owned restaurant. Hamburgers made with Kobe Beef, Roma style thin crispy crust pizzas with Armandino Batali’s cured meats, seafood, and specialty cheeses, Herb crusted center-cut Nebraskan corn-fed beef steaks, fire-grilled red king salmon, fresh chicken wings, salads, and more. An amazing 100+ bottle wine list, Seattle’s most creative cocktails and over 20 draft and bottled beer selections.

In 2005 SPORT was voted the most family friendly restaurant in WHERE magazine by Seattle visitors and “Best Sports Bar” on AOL Cityguide.

Service was slow, both in getting our drinks and in getting our food.

The service wasn't great but the food was delish. I loved the chili. The burger was very nice. We didn't get checked on a whole lot but at least we had a tv to watch! At times we felt rather forgotten or lost in the shuffle. I think next time I'll stick with Seastar out of Chef Howie's restaurants.

This visit was pretty terrible. The food was awful- the burger was so greasy that there was a continual drip of oil off the burger and several bites in the whole thing was such a sloppy, soggy mess that I couldn't eat any more. Despite eating only a small portion of it, all that grease made me sick. The service was pretty bad too- the host was rude and unaccommodating, the person training our new waiter was rude and so overbearing she kept our waiter from properly doing his job, and the check was brought before we were done with our meal and we felt rushed out even though it wasn't particularly busy. This is a cool spot to watch sports, but next time I am headed to a game, I think I will just grab dinner at the arena.
