   We have been to Spork a number of times. I chose it for our wedding anniversary because it’s such an amazing menu, with complexity of flavors and textures in every dish. I’m a decent cook, so I really appreciate the skill and beauty of these dishes. My step daughter ids a vegetarian so there was enough choice on the menu to make a great meal! Thank you!!

   The service is prompt, friendly, and engaging. The menu appeal is irresistible: many unique elements and techniques presented in every item. Unfortunately the execution left much to be desired. Muddied flavors. Under-seasoning. No clear direction or purpose to many elements in the composed plates. Likewise, the alluring cocktail descriptions were disappointed with dilute flavors and lack of focus. The espresso machine was broken and desert was $36. Give me a break.

   Superb ingredients and delicious food, especially the "Small Plates" such the pork cheeks and the lobster roll. Tasty small bites to start. Knowledgeable and friendly sommelier who helped with the choice of a delicious 2017 Chorey-lès-Beaune red. Attentive service overall. Just a fun evening overall.

    As a lover of locally owned and sourced restaurants who works in the industry, take my word for it- this place is the real deal. They have managed to make high-end food and cocktails approachable with the perfect ambiance of expertly crafted menus and a modern, casual setting. The staff was phenomenal, which is a lot for someone like me to be say. They were knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and clearly passionate about their work.. Cheers, Spork staff- you made our trip to Pittsburgh one we will never forget.

    Stop what you’re doing and make yourself a reservation at Spork! Wow, I’ve had a hard time finding the words to express that this was the best meal and most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life, by a LONG SHOT. We were greeted by our server, Jesse (fantastic) and started with a few cocktails. Amous Bouche of mushroom soup was brought out to us, and I savored every bite of it in hopes I can somewhat recreate it this winter soup season. Braised Pork cheeks were ordered as our appetizer, and I don’t think I spoke a word during the entire course. Second amous bouche of a taco was brought out to us, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The bread course was marvelous, but we wanted to save space for the entree’s of Stuffed Quail and Black Bass. These chef’s are phenomenally talented here at Spork, as I never would have thought up these combinations. The stuffed quail is single-handedly the greatest dish I’ve tasted. (Mmm sweetbreads 😍) We were stuffed from dinner, so instead of the dessert trio course we opted to split the affogato with honeycomb, vanilla ice cream, and espresso. Wow, just wow. Thank you Sean Enright, Chef Frangiadis, Chef Fuhr, and team for having us. I cannot wait to come back and devour that Waygu Spinalis and sip on some more cocktails. GO TO SPORK!!

    I had a great experience with wonderful food! If I had to offer one piece of criticism it would be to make it a bit brighter. The lights were so dim it was hard to see what was on the plate.

    I love coming to this resturant. The little touches make it worth coming back. The little samples of food. The sporks of course. My friend got the fried chicken but there wasn’t a lot of chicken. That was a disappointment. The music was too loud. It was hard to have a conversation. Thank you for asking!

    Spork was so fantastic! I have been wanting to try this spot since moving to Pittsburgh last year, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We had excellent wine and cocktails (a bottle of Chardonnay and the Queen Bee were the ones I tried and highly recommend). Then they bring out excellent small bites from the kitchen to taste taste in addition to the food you order. I don’t even like mushrooms but the mushroom soup they brought out was amazing. Then they brought a little cucumber bite… I would give up one of my brothers for the recipe. We order two small plates and two entrees for the two of us. They were the prawns, lobster roll, black bass, and wagyu spinalis. All of it was fantastic. We also order the dessert because we had to try it even though we were so full. All in all I will definitely be returning to Spork because the evening was so superb. From service to taste to ambiance, the place is great. It is a bit loud in there as an aside though! But it didn’t bother us.

    One of the best meals I’ve had in years. All the amuse bouche were delightful surprises. Wine perfectly paired and a good value. Meal was pricey, but worth it. Server extremely knowledgeable without being pedantic. Space gorgeous while maintaining open view of kitchen

    This quickly became our new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. The food was all delicious and the portions were generous. The service was excellent. The environment was fun and enjoyable. We'll be back again and we're looking forward to it.

    Nice ambience ! Sampling tapas are nice . Ravioli dish came cold , no remorse or apologies from staff , they reheated the same plate with the all the fresh greens on top of it . No dessert options that don’t include caffeine. The fried chicken is over rated. Quality/ money value not worth it. I would rather spend my money on a Monterey bay steak or Pussade’s Garden . I heard all the rave about this place and was excited to try it but ended up disappointed.

    Came from way out of town (Canada) and Spork was our best dining experience in Pittsburgh. Great service and delicious food. Paired with great drinks and perfectly timed amuse bouche offerings! We will be back the next time we are in town.

    Delicious food and very nice atmosphere! The small little “tastings” throughout the evening made the whole experience very enjoyable. The pork cheek appetizer was fantastic. My quail was simply ok but my wife’s bolognese was incredible! Four stars due to the main courses being severely overpriced. That being said, I would return. Haha.

    Come here for a cocktail, an appetizer/salad, and maybe a protein. Bring a box of seasonings, your last paycheck, and definitely skip the pasta courses. The cocktails are creative and excellent. Wine list is a bit eclectic and has some fun bottles. Appetizers are tasty, especially the crispy octopus. Charred romaine salad with hummus has potential. Several interesting amuse-bouche bites throughout the meal. The entire menu is inspired by fresh, simple ingredients. Bread and pasta are made in-house. The protein courses, lamb and beef, are well prepared with high quality meat. Two main disappointments: The pasta dishes and the prices. The pasta courses are under seasoned and use far too many ingredients that are not well balanced. The huge ravioli with a runny mushroom puree inside are far too thick and chewy, the squash-based sauce is flat, and the whole dish is covered with a pile of unnecessary leaves, sprouts, and vegetable pieces. The tagliatelle with ramp pesto and chopped vegetables is flat, bitter, unbalanced, and almost inedible. Neither my wife nor I could eat it. Overall, Spork is creative and fun, slightly pretentious, marked by culinary immaturity, and far too expensive for the experience.
