There is no better brisket than at Spork Pit. You wit have to drive to Austin to taste anything this good. Waitstaff was incredible, both in attitude and knowledge of the menu. Large and satisfying beer selection, master cocktail maker behind the bar. Crowd was happy and fluid throughout the evening. My dinner companion raved about the ribs and we each had tasty sides of collard greens and potato salad. Go now before the crowds line up at the door.

My husband and I heard about this "Cannibal Clown Cafe" thing happening at the old Doublewide Grille and thought it would be something cool to check out. Sign was cool, Poster's were cool, Menus were cool and the Food options sounded great. Facebook event took us to an Open Table reservation form so it seemed pretty legit. When we arrived and walked under the large clown-face entrance we obviously expected to see a clown/circus atmosphere inside. We were seated in the bar area. Only one decoration and not one clown to be found. We were disappointed and confused. But... the food sounded good and we were hungry so we stayed and ordered. Mozzerella Sticks to start. They arrived really quickly, and were delicious. Bob ordered a Burger and Fries and I ordered a small Mac-n-cheese bowl with Jerk Chicken and a side of Chili. Our waiter disappeared after dropping off the Mozz Sticks and we didn't see him again for a half an hour. While waiting I decided to walk toward the Restrooms to check out the Back Room. Guess where the half-assed Carnival setup was? In the back room where they weren't even seating people. There WAS a guy dressed up as a clown (who never left that back room) one clown decoration hanging from the ceiling, a couple of kiddie carnival tents and one corner table with red and white stripes around it. That was the "Cannibal Carnival Cafe" I guess... ❓️ Food finally came. Everything on my husbands Burger was wrong so he was basically left with a patty and a bun. Fries were ice cold. My Jerk Chicken was dry and ice cold on top of what looked like a thrice-microwaved bowl of mac-n-cheese. Completely inedible. I politely let the waiter know the jerk/mac was not edible and asked if he could take it off of our bill. They really shouldn't have charged us for anything but the Mozz Sticks and Chili -- We felt "tricked" into going there for something it definitely WASNT. Huge disappointment.

Awful service. Had a reservation at 815, arrived at 745 and had to wait for someone to notice my friend and I to be seated. Drinks took almost 30 min to come out and our food came at 930 when they closed at 10. There was no one there and it was not busy, so the wait was honestly kind of ridiculous. Not a great experience

We probably won't be back until they've had time to improve. We love Spork, but this is not close to their standards. The cocktails were great. The food was average. Too expensive for what we got. My hub & son were not at all happy with their burgers. My cubano sandwich was as if someone who'd never seen one before made it. It was ok. but the cocktails were great. Service was below average. We were not given waters until we asked for them. Had to get our own ketchup (for burgers +fries). No one checked back in w us after food was brought out. had an empty cocktail glass for several minutes; had to flag someone down to ask for another cocktail. Had to flag someone down to get our check. Our reservation was at 4:30pm on the Saturday before Halloween which was going to be very very busy at this location. Maybe we were there too early? Who knows. But we won't be back until we hear there have been improvements to the food & service.

The food was ok. The service was quick. There were good selections for Halloween themed cocktails, but I thought the restaurant would be decorated a little more.

This was for a Halloween pop up bar-clown theme. It was really disappointing. Barely decorated. Only have the staff dressed with the theme.

Loved that it was wheelchair accessible. There were four in our party one was vegan and very picky. She had absolutely no problem. Our server was absolutely amazing. The Decour is very cool so much to look at in this old old gas station. They have a lot of meals for vegans. They use Seitan . My sister got the Seton gyro and said it was delicious as were the shoestring fries as well. My husband and I both got brisket. He got the brisket sandwich and I got the brisket platter. The brisket was just OK I’ve had better I’ve had worse. There was quite a bit of fat on it and in order to get any flavor it definitely had to be dipped in the barbecue sauce, there’s a lot of different styles of cornbread. I took one bite and just couldn’t eat any more of it. It was coarse had a strange taste. I like a smooth almost cake like cornbread so it’s a personal taste. The other person in our party got a Cuban sandwich and said it was very good, I would definitely check this place out with scarfed or food down before I realized I didn’t take any photos

I had the best time with my son who lives in the area. The staff was great, the food selection was interesting and well prepared. Simone was a great server...thanks. I like the street vibe....indoor and outdoor seating.

Very accommodating service for our party of 8. Moderate brunch crowd with sunny outdoor dining. Ambiance was fun, formerly a garage, well behaved dogs on the patio. Menu had lots of options for different dietary restrictions, food quality was fine but not amazing.
