Spoons Riverside is a cafe, restaurant, wedding and function venue uniquely located on the Little Murray River in Swan Hill, Victoria. Spoons provides a memorable dining experience, whether it be for breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. Dine inside and enjoy the ambiance of the floor to ceiling windows and large hanging sculptures or enjoy the expansive deck with full river front views nestled amongst the River Red Gums in a unique distinctly Australian setting. Thank you it was beautiful. Sorry to do a but, could the outdoor chairs and tables have a quick wipe with a dry cloth as they both were quite damp to sit on or lean on. Thank you Marg Shepherd.

Service was rushed in beginning and very slow at end especially when trying to order coffee. Tables were being cleaned while we were still waiting for waitress to return for second coffee order. One meal was not as stated on specials board- Pea & ham soup was more like a vegetable broth with ham. Will visit again however as we love the outdoor deck.

Our recent visits to Spoons have been very disappointing and we will not be returning. Staff not friendly, slow service and once the meal is served or dumped on the table they do not return so no sweets or coffee, dirty dishes are just left on the table. Spoons was our favourite restaurant, we had been proud to take visitors as the river views are lovely but it is now very disappointing and very poorly run

Meal was fantastic, very busy day for the staff, I have worked hospo , so know the uncleared tables are a sign of how busy they are. Staff very polite and apologetic for not getting our drink orders right, will eat there again & again. Well done to the staff & chefs

Spoons has been my favorite place to dine for years now. I'm 60ks away & for special lunch catch ups I choose Spoons. I love al fresco dining, but you will need a hat in summer. Whatever you order is always nice, atmosphere plays a big part, its all about quality. I enjoyed lemon dill prawn fettucine yesterday YUM - blow - I forgot to takeaway a piece of apple & ricotta cake for after.

Great riverside location with a nice menu. Visited for a 9am booking with alfresco requested and was shown to an inside table. Table legs were uneven and table was unstable. Requested a move and was quickly shown another internal table. When we pointed out our booking request, we were offered a recently vacated table in a great location. The table was quickly cleaned but was left very wet. Another server managed to dry off the table and all was great from there. Service otherwise was good, food was excellent and the location fantastic. Just need to polish the service levels to match the rest of the experience…
