Friendly service and excellent food as always! Great spot for Sunday brunch.
Service was not very good. They spilled a decent amount of water on the table when filling our glasses and never cleaned it up. They failed to bring us water even after asking for it. The food was good, but my waffles were almost burnt and not enjoyable.
Took a group of 9 people here and everyone enjoyed the meal and thanked me for taking them there. Overall a win!
Great place to go with friends and good variety of brunch items!
Brunch with family
Great! I’d definitely suggest others to go.

Incredible food and excellent service. I don’t live in NYC but will definitely be going there again next time I’m there.
This place has the worst service of any restaurant I’ve been to in years. I will never be returning here. Our waiter showed up rude with an attitude. The order was all wrong but she didn’t care to fix it. Honestly I can’t say enough bad things about this restaurant. It was an absolutely horrible experience.
Had breakfast at the bar. Really enjoyed my BLT plus egg for breakfast. Just wish my mimosa would've been as full as everyone else's. Wasn't given a water refill either. Other than that, cool vibe and nice. Told another traveler about it.
Biscuits and gravy were great! Perfectly poached eggs.
Had another amazing meal at Spoon Table & Bar. Took a client to a business breakfast meeting and shared 3 dishes. I highly recommend the biscuits and sausage gravy skittle!! The wait staff was super nice and understanding about the amount of time we spent at the table.
Cute little spot with a fun/eclectic decor. Menu skews southern comfort food (which isn't a bad thing), and there are not a ton of options, so if you have vegans/GF/health conscious people in your group, this might not be the best option. I am none of the above, so I enjoyed it. Was packed at lunchtime midweek, so I'd definitely make reservations.
Last breakfast of our NYC spring break trip. Food was excellent! Great little find through Open Table!
We enjoyed the food but were disappointed that we couldn't get an order of biscuits.
Everything was good - service, food, atmosphere. I had the signature fried chicken and waffles...not sure why the need to add hot peppers, but that should not be on the plate unless requested...that was the only discomfort, since the peppers were under the waffles and not noticed or expected...other than that, very enjoyable and good place I still recommend
Overall I really enjoyed this place. Great set up and nice place to catch up with friends. The food was not out of this world, but not bad either.
The food was delicious, noise level was not too loud, and the service was pretty good. Overall I would say it is a good brunch spot for a small get-together with friends.
One of my favorite lunch spots in Midtown.
Must have menu items are Mac & cheese and friend chicken sandwich. Also their house cocktails are delicious
Table for 4 located in back right corner was perfect for brunch, noise was lower than other areas of the crowded dinning area. Service was average & food was better than other brunches I have had elsewhere. Will return for brunch & happy hour, which is til 8pm weekdays. Catch Pedro, the bartender on Thu & Fri, nice guy.
Good food at fair prices
They do not rush you though Brunch allowing you to enjoy your meal
The waiter took my party’s drink order 4 times and it took well over 30 minutes to receive our drinks. He then also came back twice to take our food order, which was still incorrect. He never came back to check on how we were doing. A different waiter gave us our check at a different point. We all enjoyed the look and feel of the restaurant but were sorely disappointed with our service. I will never dine here again nor will my comrades.
Bad service. Had to flag down waiters and servers multiple times after they had given us menus to order. They also messed up our bill and charged one card several times
It's a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Food & wine was great, and the staff was so nice. Will definitely go again.
Excellent. They made us wait 5 minutes for our reservation so they gave us free coffee. Service was amazing. Food delicious, and great value.
Highly recommend.
Great brunch with lively crowd.
disappointed
cold coffee
cold salad served on top of eggs
pancakes like rocks
Always great for casual business lunch. Very friendly service and if you have a reservation it’s very reliable spot for lunchtime when everyone is on a timeline
Like the restaurant... food is good and ambiance. However, the service was really bad... we were seated at 7pm, the waiter didn't even acknowledge us until 7:15pm and didn't take our order until 7:30pm. The rest of the dinner was slow and had to keep calling the server for service. Disappointing
Excellent Cubano sandwich, one of the best I’ve had in NYC. Excellent soups as well.
Excellent!!
Wonderful atmosphere and food. Our waiter Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions.
The food at this restaurant tasted great but not everybody’s breakfast came out hot. Also the coffee was not hot either. We told our waitress but the replacement cup of coffee was only warm.
it was nice cute little spot would recommend
Always love Spoon for a yummy lunch with work colleagues.
Food was good, service was ridiculously slow and restaurant was not busy (late evening seating). Also waiter forgot to place order for our appetizers. Have had better experiences here on previous occasions.
Simple menu. Nothing WOW but everything is good.
Great food, nice waiter and cool space
Met with friends for pre-holiday and it was very nice and conveniently located
A great spot to eat with a small group of friends. My friends and I (a group of 3) dined during the work week for lunch and loved everything we ordered. The atmosphere is cozy and casual.
Spoon is an easy, casual, unpretentious place for breakfast or lunch -- soups, salads, burgers, main courses. All the food is good. It is especially welcome in a neighborhood with a dearth of restaurant choices. I'm not sure I would travel out of my way to go there, but it never disappoints. The burger is exceptionally delicious, and the 'adult grilled cheese' is sometimes exactly what you want. They serve many dishes with a fried pickle. This is either appealing or gross, depending on your perspective, but it is amusing.
