Great place and great atmosphere. Servers are always friendly, and the food is very good.
Lovely brunch! The biscuits and gravy and southern chicken and biscuits were both amazing! Will definitely be back.
We went the night before Easter and didn’t know if it would be packed or quiet. Turned out to be a quiet night. The food and service were great. The atmosphere is wonderful. Thank you for a great evening! Chandler took amazing care of us.
Our server was so amazing!
She was attentive and fun.
The bartender is totally top notch. Very friendly and fun.
The waiter was a really cool guy. He made a good recommendation for a starter. Service was fast. Food was excellent.
We had a wonderful evening in Cincinnati. The food was great and our waiter professional and very committed to answer our many questions. The ambience was tranquil, allowing us to fully take this evening in.
We would recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.
Our waiter James was great. We had wine and cocktails. Both delicious. Had the bacon-wrapped jalapenos appetizer. So good! Each got the steak fries for dinner. Amazing! James recommended the cheesecake for dessert and it didn't disappoint. Discovered this place via Cincysavers. We will definitely be back.
First indoor “date night” with my wife in almost 8 months. Ambiance was cozy. Menu was a good variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and full meals. We cobbled together a meal using a few appetizers, soup, salad and desert. All were outstanding. Good bar with delicious cocktails. Best part was the attentive, friendly service from our server, December. Gave us excellent recommendations, checked in often, but not in an intrusive or pushy way. I expect we’ll be back semi-regularly.
I don't know what they've changed but the food quality this time wasn't as good
Great Alfredo, different take on spinach and artichoke dip, (not the best) but overall very enjoyable.
We had an excellent dinner with fantastic service where our waitress was able to recommend entrees to meet our needs.
The food was quite good! I'd highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip! Great service too!
It had nice interior design. It has the potential to be a very nice restaurant but they don’t execute most things well. The food was pretty good but not worth the price.
Good food, service and atmosphere. Focused menu allows for better quality from the kitchen. Staff are positive and fun. Rye, scotch and whiskey selection are excellent. All around positive experience.
Always a great experience - we love coming here for special occasions because we know what to expect in the environment but the menu is always fresh and the wine list is always great!
Always enjoy the spoon and cellar.
Location a little off downtown path. It’s basically a hotel bar/restaurant but nice
Absolutely wonderful experience. My fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement after busy work schedules and this restaurant had the perfect ambience. Brian was most gracious and took us through the entire menu with great detail. Excellent value for money and had a very personal feel to the place! Would definitely come back here to celebrate after our wedding!
Staff (Chandler) was helpful and very friendly, but the place was a ghost town (it is Covid). Food was average at best. Lots of better choices in downtown Cincinnati.
Very great experience at Spoon & Cellar. Brunch was top notch.
Great service and food. Had breakfast there the next day - also great! Glad to have found this spot.
Very welcoming.
Service was excellent.
Ambiance "fine" - a bit "sterile" for my taste.
Food was not inventive but tasty. The vegetables were overcooked, The wine list is very overpriced. I know what these bottles cost retail and some were priced 3X their retail price.
Great food, server and chef took my food allergy very seriously. Thank you!!!
Service was fantastic. Only complaint was the tables felt high for the chairs. Everyone in our party said the same. Food was so good.
Good was amazing
No one was there to greet us at the door...almost 5 mins went by before someone came to seat us. Servers were not very friendly. Had to ask more than once for a refill. Food was great though!
Food was delicious! Not many people in the restaurant, but a large group. They were a little noisy but nothing bothersome.
Our experience was fantastic. Our server was attentive, kind and had a great sense of humor. The ambiance was beautiful, high end. The food was out of this world. We started with the artichoke spinach appetizer. Very generous portion. Dinner was hot and delicious. We will be back! GO!!
Enjoyable and consistent. There are more trendy, and tastier options for a lesser price point nearby, but this is a reliable establishment.
Food was overly salted, in general. Also, we found the salad had way too much dressing. Decent wine list and excellent service. I think the food holds this place back...
Our waiter was very accommodating. The mussels and wine were delicious. My date had an old fashioned which was watery, but they remade him a new one at no charge. I had the New York strip steak, which was an excellent cut of meat, but it was incredibly salty and very undercooked. They cooked it longer— it was still not quite done enough. You couldn’t eat it without the potatoes because of the amount of salt. The asparagus was also very salty. My date liked his salmon. Our waiter offered us dessert on the house for the mishaps. It’s a shame because some things were very tasty and they tried but it was not even close to being worth what we paid.
We came here for New Years Eve two years in a row (and a couple of times between) and never are disappointed. The food and service are wonderful and the price point is too. Love this place and will be back soon!
The food was great, tried the black bean fritters as an appetizer and was blown away in how good they were! Can’t go wrong with any of their steak options!
The French onion soup was fabulous! I will be back for it!
Went for my birthday and had an amazing experience! Excellent food, service, and wine that I would recommend to anybody!
Always awesome service and feel like family there
Food was excellent! Service was very good too. Will be going back to try other menu items.
We were in town for the Cowboys game. Has breakfast before. Don’t remember our servers name but she was absolutely amazing!!
Food and atmosphere are good but the poor/slow service is a deal killer. First time trying spoon and cellar. We arrived at 7:25. Drinks came at a reasonable timeline and specialty drink was good. Ordered Soup and Salad when drinks arrived and that’s where it went south. Took 37 minutes to receive the soup and salad and the server either forgot to put the order in or was that unorganized. Either way he stumbled through an apology and walked away. He came back 15 minutes later and took food order. Main course did come out quicker but by this point we are 75 minutes in. We noticed the manager (who never came to our table) apologizing to more than one table in the restaurant for slow service. If you have two hours to eat dinner I would recommend......first time is the last time. Guess there is a reason they always have open reservations on the weekend.
