We celebrated our vegan son’s 21st birthday on Spirit Elephant’s back outdoor patio. It was in the 40s- a little brisk- but the staff brought over extra heat lamps and we were good! Our server was absolutely wonderful, warm, kind and efficient. We had the French onion soup- excellent- the vegetable soup- pretty good- the Buffalo cauliflower- outstanding! - the curry and the penne. All were delicious. Fun cocktails; decent wines by the glass. Really loved our experience. SO happy to dine outdoors and great to see other diners braving the cold on the patio too! This is a wonderful, much-needed restaurant in our area. We will be back!

I am not a vegetarian but I love this plant base restaurant. It's amazing the amount of flavors you can experience without the need of meat. Every plate is well balance. Desserts are just as great. Hope they survive this pandemic.

Everything is excellent, your staff is AWESOME but you need to come up with a structure that allows people to seat outside without freezing, getting wet or blown away.

First time dining at Spirit Elephant and our waiter was quite helpful. We enjoyed the Cauliflower wings and fig flatbread appetizers, and everyone loved their entrees, especially the Pad Thai and Forbidden Rice. The interior is a great space that we want to check out when indoor dining is possible but we dined on the back patio, which had a great ambience. Tables well distanced apart for covid. Patio heaters for the cool weather.

The patio was empty. Every table was available. We were seated at the smallest most uncomfortable table on the patio.

We asked to be moved, we were told 'sorry, every table is reserved'. We ate and drank and had dessert. Not one person showed up for the 12 open tables. More than an hour later we left and all the tables were still open.

It wrecked the experience. I still feel angry about how we treated.

The outdoor ambiance was incredible, the food was so good and clean and fresh and interesting. I loved the blend of flavors and as serious meat lover I have to admit the beet salad was terrific and the forbidden rice bowl had the most amazing combination of flavors including the best tofu I have ever eaten, sweet potatoes, mango and rice. I was so excited to eat the leftovers for lunch and my teenage daughter beat me to the refrigerator and asked when she could go to the restaurant where it came from . Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Such great food. Even non-vegans will find plenty of food to eat that isn’t so ‘out there’. But it was such a treat being a vegan and having so many great choices beyond a salad. Forbidden rice bowl was unbelievably delicious. We sat outside on a cold (not cool) night. Patio heaters made it bearable. Support this great place with carry out and easy curbside pickup! Can’t wait to eat inside someday. The decor inside was beautiful with tons of live plants and beautiful space.

Loved my trip here! I had a great coffee, served in a French press. The food was quick to come out, and was fresh and was interesting, tasty ingredients. It's so refreshing to go somewhere food focused like that. Would go again!

I love this restaurant so much, but this time something didn’t work like supposed to be. The waiter spilled my husband cocktail on the table, then when we ordered appetizer he forgot to bring us brussels sprouts. I don’t like to complain a lot but maybe it was that day when something doesn’t goes perfectly. Still recommend 👍.

We went for my daughter’s birthday who is a vegetarian. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was delicious. But the service was horrible. We had to ask for water multiple times. No one came to clear our appetizer plates, so when I food came we were so crowded at our table. We order dessert and took way over 20 minutes to come. I would recommend picking food up but probably would never go back.

FYI---Dinner for one here saves 360 gallons of water, 13lbs of grain, 10sqft forest & 6lbs of CO2. I highly recommend Spirit Elephant, which opened earlier this year! It’s truly a neighborhood gem. We visited in October 2020, and we loved it. They offer outdoor and indoor seating. The restaurant seating is elegantly designed with beautiful plants throughout. The food is super fresh, carefully prepared, and tasty. Do not expect the typical, bland lentil burgers found in many other vegan places. Spirit Elephant is a 100% plant-based restaurant, and their organic vegetables do take center stage on every plate. The menu offers a wide variety of gluten-free dishes. Must try taco-Tuesday and burger-Wednesday. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options are well balanced. Our table favorites were Cauli Wings, Vegetable Soup, Southwest Salad, BBQ Burger, and Ele-Panne. For dessert, you absolutely must try the Spiced Apple Pie (Sea Salt Caramel, Vanilla Gelato, Powdered Sugar, Whipped Cream). Had a chance to speak with the immensely-talented Head Chef Gabriel who himself has been practicing veganism for 3 years. Please check out the picture associated with this review. I had read such good reviews about this place that I decided it was worth the 40 minute drive to try it out. I can honestly say I would drive much further if I had to in order to eat there again, and I'm not even a vegetarian. I don't however, eat anything containing gluten so it was great to see so many options available to me. My friend and I tried the fried cauliflower (superb), the flatbread (fantastic), the spring rolls (so so), the vegetable curry (delicious), the beet salad (my friend loved it), and the pumpkin cheesecake (very good). Without drinks and with a tip, we spent $120 and brought home leftovers for the next day. The staff was friendly and helpful and I liked the decor. My friend and I will definately return.

The food is fantastic and generously portioned, so it's easily worth it at the price point. I've never had a bad dish there, but the pumpkin cheesecake will make you believe in a higher power. The only area where this restaurant lacks is service; we went on a Sunday evening and sat on the patio. I recalled seeing 2 servers for about 8-9 tables (most of them 4-tops), so it didn't seem like they were too swamped. The service isn't horrible, it just could be better. Overall, it's still my vegan partner's new favorite restaurant and as someone who eats a lot of vegan food because of her, it's definitely top tier for me. We'll be back, no question.

I normally don’t like vegan fare, but this place takes if to a new level. One example is the omelet - the “eggs” were made from Mung Beans, and we all thought they tasted better than eggs. The fig flatbread was great as well. Cool atmosphere, nice outdoor dining available, and excellent service. Highly recommended!
