Maybe a variety of song selection could. The food was great and the experience was amazing.
Foos is mediocre, service was poor but drinks were good. I think this is a place that I would want to get a few drinks at. Now we know not to have dinner here
Service was slow and forgetful. Seemed to have 1 inexperienced waitress for entire restaurant. Food was good , views were amazing.
Completely Satisfied with the overall experience and the customer service
Food sucks. Drinks suck. Dope view. Would not take a date
Awesome service and great ambiance!!!
Nice view and a good spot spot for drinks NOT food !
The food is very bland and the menu does not offer very many options. It’s also very cold while sitting at the restaurant. We had a reservations, and it still took over 20 minutes to seat us. We were guests in the hotel as well.
Amazing and worth it, view was astounding and service was 10/10
Our reservation was for 7:45pm we we're seated until 8:25pm. The mash potatoes with my steak were barely warm. We really looked forward to dinning here because it was our Anniversary and unfortunately we were very disappointed.
We were very disappointed with my cousin's bday meal. The food was completely bland. They did not use any seasoning in their food, including salt! The fillet mignon was horrible. My salmon and veggies had absolutely no flavor. They don't even provide salt and pepper on the table. It took forever to get water. It was an extremely disappointing meal, that I was hoping would be special for my cousin's birthday. I never ever complain about food, but this was mind-blowingly awful. It seemed like the cook was angry or maybe had never put food in their mouth before.
We had great night in the spire 73. Great service and great foods with great music thanks.
Horrible customer service and bad food!! Overpriced not worth the hassle of getting all the way up there. They also need to wash their windows if they want their guests to “enjoy the view!”
Perfect seating loved the food, definitely recommend ordering appetizers! Wings are really good!
The place is amazing and food is delish!
Our server Gabriela was amazing. She was so attentive and on top of her game. She was so nice and took great care of us! She made our 24 year anniversary dinner perfect. All her recommendations were on point! Thanks Gabriela and Spire 73.
Service was awesome, food was decent and drinks were perfect.
I had an absolutely wonderful time. From assistance of the elevator to the assistance with the reservation and the detailed responsiveness of our server was impeccable. I will return. One of the best night outs since the pandemic.
The food wasn’t worth the price. I had steak and potatoes. It was ok. I’ve had better for less.
Great views and the food and drinks were delicious. Our server wasn’t that attentive though.
Todo super ricoooo
Environment is ok.
Very pricy. Not worth it.
We came to spire for the last dinner of a 7 day trip. The reservation process was simple. We arrived early and were not able to go up yet so we enjoyed front courtyard. The experience was great, make sure you bring long sleeves , as the sun went down it got chilly. Our server , Ruben, was informative and very prompt and helpful. The green thumb and Paloma were excellent drink selections as well as the Mediterranean plate. We enjoyed our experience, just slightly disappointed with the extra charge at valet since we arrived early.
The service was amazing but the food was completely horrible. The vibe was very intimate but I suggest bringing a jacket if you have dinner after 8pm because it’s a little chilly.
Good food overlooking downtown LA on the 73rd floor of the Intercontinental Hotel.
Great restaurant to go with friends. Great service. Food is average considering the high prices.
They aren't ready to be back post-pandemic. Service very polite but slow. They don't know how to manage that space and keep people comfortable. Seating poorly arranged and heaters poorly placed. They don't take care to seat you in the most comfortable areas. Very tacky to ask us to confirm our $60 per head spend when we checked in for our reservation--we already know the terms of what we agreed to when we reserved and the sign out front is not subtle--we were dressed nicely but this felt like being met with unwelcome skepticism regarding our patronage. Their manager was very helpful in ruining our evening, which is too bad because our server Gabby was great. Oh yeah and the decent meal and very mediocre drinks (in PLASTIC glassware) ran us $200+. Won't be back.
I would have given and outstanding to for the ambience of Spire 73, the windows really needed cleaning. Maybe it's not time to clean the windows but what a beautiful Building.
No fault of the kitchen's - I'm sure they do the best they can - all food arrives cold or becomes cold within less than 2 minutes of being placed at the table. I mean you are eating 73 floors up and often enveloped in a cloud of, well, fog. But for $36-$40 a plate one hopes to eat warm food.
Overall it was a good experience for our first time here at Spire 73. Except for when we pick up our car. Whomever work at the valet office that evening around 930ish, He was very rude, cocky and unprofessional. He wasn’t trying to hear our story about the parking situation. Even though we got here before our friends at the same time. My other friends got charged for $11 for parking and we got charged for $16.50, explained that? After we’ve spend $800 for our dinner upstairs.
It was ok. The server was very nice but the place is definitely short of staff
Food and drink very overpriced for what you get.
Not impressed overall
The ambience & the music was great. The way the place was lit up, the fire places & the provided blankets were awesome. Our waiter Ruben was fantastic. Made some great recommendations & the food came out pretty promptly. Definitely will be back.
Terrible evening! Actually served baba ganoush frozen. Steak was cold. Heater constantly boomed like a helicopter! Served the entree as appetizers were just served. Cocktails were good but overpriced! Bill was extremely high. Windows were filthy so could not enjoy view! Horrible experience.
I'd assume the point of eating at Spire 73 is the view of the greater Los Angeles basin. The food menu leaves something to be desired and the alcohol menu doesn't fare much better. But the view, it's all supposed to be about the view right? One stomachs a 4oz $37 halibut because of the stunning view, right? Well, not all tables get a view and the frosted glass doesn't allow for satisfying viewing or any IG-ready or "photo-album"-worthy photographs of the supposedly stunning view atop the 73 floor of the building. We paid $212 for two people to eat a burger, halibut and four drinks. We'll try the resto atop the US Bank building next. fingers crossed, DTLA resident
The view is amazing. The food was delicious especially the lemon ice cream. Will definitely go back and sit in the bar area. Can't wait to stay on the hotel.
Music sucked, elevator music. Service was slow and not personable.
Came to Cali to spend my Birthday there and made reservations at Spire 73 best experience I have ever had food was good but the wine of choice with the bubbly was to die for. The waitress Eunice was fabulous she made sure that I was good the whole time. I will definitely come again for the rooftop experience
Great place to eat with the family or to go to for business dinners/ dates
Went to celebrate my cousin’s engagement. It was a 4-person team and we made a reservation for 9:15pm. It was amazing!!!! The view was sick and our server was really nice and accommodated our many needs lol. Also, wear something warm and hold your thickest jacket as the cold was crazy lol. We all requested two blankets each!
Definitely gonna be back there again!
