Spinnerstown Hotel is a restaurant serving rustic local cuisine in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The dining areas of the Spinnerstown Hotel are divided into two parts. The first is a casual bar and taproom, with 18 rotating beers on tap and a simple, rustic atmosphere. The second is a formal dining room complete with white linens, a roaring fireplace and hand-painted walls and ceiling. As for the cuisine, Spinnerstown Hotel is inspired by simple farmhouse fare, but with its own modern twist. Diners will find house-made burgers, Belgian-style mussels and hearty entrées like the hunter's pork with sweet potato gnocchi. In addition to these standards, the Spinnerstown Hotel menu is constantly under development, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to consistently create new dishes for guests to enjoy.
The food was good and the ambiance was great as we sat across from the fire place. Loved it. We had a great server. She was very helpful in suggesting food choices when we asked and very attentive. We will definitely return again soon!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our date night their. We have been to the Spinnerstown Hotel a few times every time has been great! For st Patrick’s day they a dessert call car bomb cupcake best cupcake ever!
Food was excellent, service was superior.
Food was served fast and prompt.
My wife and I enjoyed the experience except we both didn't like the entrees we ordered. The wedge salad was perfect and my wife's appetizer as well. The entrees could've been hotter, seems like it was sitting for a little. I would give it another try
Birthday dinner. Great food.
Delicious food! Great Service! Amazing desert. I love the wine selection as well!
My 50th birthday and wanted to have a good dinner with friends as well as listen to Craig and Nyke.
We had great service and the food was awesome. I am not a big drinker so the alcohol list was overwhelming but my friends enjoyed it. We will definitely return.
Great place...live entertainment on a Friday! Bartender’s know what there doing!! Will definitely go again.
Love going to Spinnerstown when Craig and Nyke are there or Craig and the Band. That is really the only time we go--but we really enjoy the evening. Onion soup is delicious. Was disappointed to find a number or tap beers kicked and nothing in place of them. But still was able to find a good craft beer and enjoyed it. We always celebrate birthdays and anniversaries there when Craig Thatcher is playing in the Tap Room.
The server was OUTSTANDING. The food was first rate and we will definitely be going back again. Keep up the great work.
First time here food was awesome. Price seem fair wasn’t over price. Waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Will not be disappointed.
Very accommodating. Had heard you had the best Salmon around but was not on the menu for Valentine's Day. Chef was wonderful and prepared the dish for us anyway. Absolutely delicious.
A local gem; very attentive services and innovative menu and cooking style. We will return
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner. Our food was amazing, although my husband would have enjoyed more oysters for the price. Our waitress was so sweet.
Often eat at this establishment. Have always had good service and great food. I planned a romantic night with my husband for Valentine's day at Spinnerstown.
I don't know if our waitress was having a bad day, was overwhelmed, or just didn't care. Service was as poor as I've ever had. We actually walked out, which we have never done anywhere before.
I would Still recommend Spinnerstown, it is usually a very good place to eat and service is usually very good.
Food was good, service was excellent.
Filet was perfectly cooked, asparagus was the only disappointment...it was over cooked.
Always a fine meal in a wonderful setting. Whether dinning in for a date night or a business meeting on the more casual pub side, I have always had excellent service with great food.
Went there for Valentine's Day dinner. Was unaware they had a limited menu selection for that evening. Decided upon the "Scallops and Shrimp" which came with a toss salad. Salad was tasteless and consisted of some type of greens (didn't appear to be lettuce). Two small cherry tomatoes and a tasteless dressing. The main course consisted of TWO scallops and THREE shrimp placed on a bed of some type of rice/risotto (for $37.00!!). Very blah meal. Doubt that I'd go back there for dinner.
Went to Spinnerstown hotel for Valentine’s Day dinner. Set menu had great options and both our meals were great!! Service was awesome!
Picked here to meet friends halfway between us. When I mentioned to others we were going I heard good things so we were excited. The place was busy but not mobbed. Ordered drinks and apps and everything was good. We order a short rib dinner, 2 NY strip steaks and the petite filets as our 4 dinners. The short rib was excellent but all 3 steak dinners were completely overcooked. The medium strips were so well done they were dark gray and the medium rare filets were a normal well done. The waiter did apologize and 3 dinners were taken back in less than 2 or 3 minutes. When the dinners came back the steaks were correct but they didn't refire any of the sides so the rice, potatoes, broccoli, crab cake, etc and all sat for 15 minutes while the steaks were redone. It was very disappointing because I thought we had a new go to spot.
We enjoyed our dinner there. Everyone enjoyed their food. The food was delicious and plentiful. The only complaint was the dining room was loud and it was difficult to hear our conversation at times.
Stephanie was a phenomenal server... extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, steered us toward great choices, and felt like a friend by the end of the meal. Food was fantastic. Our server never made us feel rushed even though we were the last table to linger in the dining room. Our whole table agreed to meet there again, the experience was so good.
We go to spinnerstown every week. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always wonderful!
Manhattan Clam Chowder had too much of a thick tomato base. The waffles were over cooked and dry. The Reuben sandwich and Irish brunch hash were excellent. Mimosas were truly bottomless; made with Prosecco and fresh squeezed OJ.
Peach cream pie was not worth it. They were out of creme brûlée’s.
Our server was excellent. We had a wonderful time as a small group for Saturday brunch.
We will go again.
From service to food to drinks and atmosphere - everything was excellent. It was First Friday live music night so we all also enjoyed the of Craig Thatcher Band in the Pub too.
This visit to Spinnerstown Hotel was great! We had a SUPER server, a wonderful dinner, and loved the booth area where were seated (as per our request).
We really enjoy having a pre-dinner drink at the bar too......the bartender there is top notch!!!!!
This was our first visit here. Cannot say enough good things about it. First, making reservation was so easy and loved the email reminder/confirmation. Staff VERY friendly! Great menu! SO much variety to choose from. Met a friend there that we hadn't seen in a long time and was "quiet" enough to hear each other (unlike so many other restaurants) and never felt rushed. Will definitely come back again.
Excellent value, selections and overall a terrific experience. We are local b7t had never eaten there, we will certainly be back!
Our group of six really appreciated the pace of service, we had ample time to dine and catch up without feeling rushed at all.
Celebrating a birthday- we couldn’t have had a more perfect evening.
Service was terrible - food came late and not in order - had to go find server to go get our apps after 30-minute wait. The food was so-so: crab sandwich was undercooked; my friend said the Cuban pork was inedible. Sorry, we won't be back.
Food was very good, service good. was a little noisy, but then it was New Year's Eve so that's to be expected. Overall it was a good time.
Had a fantastic dinner on New Years eve, Rib eye steak was perfect, my wife has lobster risotto , we had goat cheese on greens with hot bacon dressing that was excellent
New Year’s Eve dinner. Set menu with a great variety of options.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant!!! Food, atmosphere, service was off the charts!!!! The waitress was informative and very attentive. We can't wait to go back!!!!
One bar tender on after 5pm on a holiday evening. She was responsible for 10-12 seats at the bar in addition to people wanting menu items at the bar. She was also busy with service bar for dining room. It took 10-15 minutes for a new drink. That was from the time our drinks/beer glasses were empty to when we finally got a new drink. When we were sat at a table, it took the same amount of time for us to get new drinks. Unacceptable!!!!
We are a couple in our late 40's, we were dressed up, clearly out for a nice evening just the two of us. We were sat next to a large party with crying child. A good upscale restaurant (like Spinnerstown) should be more cognizant of seating couples appropriately. Look at your diners, read them, or ask questions. It seemed like all you wanted was to get people in and out. We come to Spinnerstown Hotel on Christmas Eve because we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. This was the first year we are re-thinking coming back. Mind you, it's a 35 min drive for us just to come for dinner.
Reservations were for a dinner before Church Service. My daughter & 3 of my Grandchildren enjoyed the food. Our waitress was stellar, very friendly. The food was served hot and in a timely manner. We all Loved eating at the Spinnerstown Hotel. Thank You!
Filet was cooked perfectly!
Craig Thatcher and Nyk were ridiculously good as usual, but it had been a while since we visited the Spinnerstown Hotel. We were way beyond impressed with the amazing service, the creative cocktails list and truly superb food. We will definitely be back in the near future with our friends and kiddos. Thank you for a truly awesome evening!!!
We had our business lunch here for 8 people. The atmosphere is cozy and I like that there were a number of different separated seating areas. We were in what I think was part of a banquet room where there was another small group. It was pretty loud, but that was probably to be expected. The service was a bit slow, but we figured the waitress was giving us time between courses since it was a Christmas lunch. The food looked and tasted delicious. They were out of the dessert I ordered so that was a disappointment. Overall, a very good experience. I would like to return and sit in the outdoor seating area. I would recommend for for the local fare which is always a win with me.
