After much consideration, we will be requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all dining at Spinasse and Artusi effective September 17th. CLEAR and MyIR Mobile (linked with Washington State) are easy apps to use for this situation. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to keeping COVID-19 in check. Absolutely spectacular!! We were in Seattle visiting and found Spinasse. Our waiter was very patient, helpful and our guide through a not so subtle culinary expertise in Italian cuisine. We were never rushed, given ample time to enjoy our courses and continue our food adventure. Left extremely happy, full and loved our date night. Much appreciated and thank you.
Had the degustazione menu and the food combined with the service made for an awesome night! Come hungry if you go that route though they are not joking with the amount of food, and don't forget to do the wine pairing and maybe leave a little room for dessert.
always great! Still has to be the top Italian place in Seattle. Do yourself a favor and get the chocolate cake if it's on the menu.
Food was salty but service was good.
A truly lovely culinary experience, every dish delicious, and thoughtfully presented and timed. Service is top notch, for certain a rarity in Seattle!
The only reason for not rating 5 of 5 in all aspects is due to the outdoor seating situation. It is simply too exposed to the elements (wind, cold, traffic) and without lighting. I hope a more permanent outdoor seating structure will be done, but I understand every business has to make this decision/priority if it makes sense for them. I’m remiss that I won’t be able to dine here again until Spring since I’m determined to not get nor give unknowingly COVID to anyone else.
Already looking forward to my next meal here!
Overall experience at Spinasse was very underwhelming
Excellent food and service!
We had a wonderful dinner celebrating my husband's birthday. The food was delicious and I will definitely be going back!
We always come here for the Tajarin for all of our special occassions (e.g., anniversaries, birthdays). We love the staff and the food.
Fantastic experience all around. Rae is a gem and really saved my evening when I messed up my reservation. Excited to go back.
One of my most favorite places to eat in all of Washington. Exceptional service, and the food is incredible.
The food was phenomenal and our waiter was superb!
Delicious food and wine, great service. Appreciated the very delicious complementary treat from the kitchen for our anniversary celebration.
Good food. Nice employees
Spinasse is definitely worth the hype! The ambiance is romantic, the service was relaxed but attentive, and the food was FanTaSTiC! We had the tajarin al ragu (divine), risotto con le capesante (beyond special), brasato di maiale al latte (so delicious). This will be our go-to place when we visit Seattle! Thanks to our wonderful server for his thorough knowledge of the menu and charming conversation.
Food is amazingly. The pasta melts In your mouth. Friendly service.
I highly recommend this delicious taste of Northwestern Italian food. Each dish is carefully constructed. We had the Insalata Russa with potato, carrot, celery, and prosciutto cotto- perfect for a light appetizer. Their bread that they make in-house is perfection. I tried the cavatelli with broccoli and pancetta and it was phenomenal. I definitely recommend getting the larger portion if it is you main entreé. It is nestled on a street corner in the bustling Capitol Hill neighborhood, but the ambiance is still perfect for a special night out.
This place is amazing and I can’t believe how attentive the staff were. And the food was so yummy. Definitely order family style but smaller plates (we ordered full pasta plates for each and were really full by the time our secondi came out).
This was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in over five years in Seattle. Amazing, attentive, kind, and wise staff. Beautiful ambiance. Superb food. Stand-outs were the tajarin ragu and the bombe dessert. Two dishes that are just off the charts. The restaurant covered our first round of drinks due to a slight wait on our reservation for our table, which I think was above and beyond and unexpectedly generous of them. Highly recommend without hesitation.
Loved! Everything was delicious, service was excellent
Overall good but would not recommend the trout as it had an odd flavor. Service a bit slow.
Excellent meal, service a bit rushed at times
Please Get the tasting menu. Anything else is foolish
Wonderful house-made pasta and rich Piedmontese flavors. Yummy milk-braised pork and espresso bombe for dessert.
The food highlights the ingredients- who knew that pasta with sage and butter could be so amazing. Attentive service
Wonderful meal! Best advice is to trust your server. The butter sage pasta is worth the hype. All the courses were excellent. Will absolutely be back.
We went here for a quiet midweek dinner. We tried four of the dishes: three appetizer sized pasta entrees and one of the antipastas. Delicious! We really enjoyed ourself
We ate outdoors so was a bit noisy from street traffic & banging of the plastic covering but radiators & food kept us warm & comfortable. Food was delicious...perfectly cooked & presented without being pretentious. We’ll be back sooner than later!
Excellent food and servicey
I love Spinasse. Such a great vibe, and the food and service are always spot on.
Everything was amazing. From the service to the food - 11/10 experience. We will absolutely be recommending Spinasse to our friends, and will definitely be returning ourselves for a 2nd helping!
Wonderful dining experience. A great way to become acquainted with Piemontese cuisine. Great wine selection and relaxed, spacious atmosphere and friendly service.
The food was good. Bit on the pricy side for the quantity they serve. It is worth trying….
Very delicious food that focused on the Piedmont region.
the food and service were exceptional, as always.
eating street side felt safe, but we miss the counter.
the heater was the bonus!
Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful food, perfect service, lovely atmosphere, and love being asked to prove vaccination status. Felt very safe!
The food was amazing and the service was top notch! It was a unique dining experience from the ravioli special that was cheesy with a hint of savory and sweetness to the perfectly prepared trout from Idaho that was fresh and light. The wine list is simple with high quality wines. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a special dinner.
everything was simply fantastic. I would absolutely recommend trying the pasta dishes.
Amazing service. Good food. I’ve never had pasta so fresh.
Best pasta I've ever had and I've had some of the best that Napa and SF can offer. Can't go wrong here.
