Spinasse Ratings and Reviews
We've had this restaurant on our list to try for quite a while and our only regret is that we hadn't tried sooner. The food was excellent - beef tartare appetizer, angel hair pasta with pork ragu and the rabbit meatballs where all delicious. The service was also great - courteous and friendly, just what you would expect from a top-notch restaurant. I would definitely recommend Spinasse to anyone who loves Italian food, especially, pasta.
My husband and I celebrated his birthday here recently, and we were blown away. The service was friendly, attentive, but not intrusive in any way. I enjoyed the Tajarin al ragu...it must defy the laws of physics, somehow, to get fresh hand-cut pasta so thin. The atmosphere is stylish, and absent of any pretension. It really was a perfect evening!
Our food was delicious (pasta with meat ragu and pasta with roasted broccoli and mushroom ragu). The recommended wine paired well. Bread was delicious—crusty outside and airy pockets inside. The service was friendly and attentive without hovering. We had to rush on this occasion, but would love to return to sample more from this great restaurant.
I'm from San Francisco and I've been to the best places in the city.
This restaurant is just as good as S.F.'s best and the menu is creative and unique.
I looked at the reviews on Open Table and had a good idea of what to order.
There were four of us and we tried to share almost everything on the menu.
The cipollini onions were incredible and the pasta's were out of this world.
The insalata di cavolo rapa was light and refreshing.
Next was the fontina fonduta. We needed more bread to soak it all up
We shared the pork belly, Bistecca and rabbit meatballs and also got a side dish of brussel
sprouts. It was a perfect meal made even better by the young and attentive staff.
Can't wait to go back on my next trip.
I chose this restaurant because of its outstanding rating on OpenTable. I was not disappointed. Rarely do things live up to the hype but this restaurant did. Every item that our table ordered was delicious and magical. Our food server was knowledgeable and friendly. Go to this restaurant!!!!
Food sharing between 5 people was perfect. Pastas were outstanding. Rabbit meatball and beef cheeks were really tasty. Food value was on point with every course.
Wine service was good, but the overhead on the wines is excessive. Overall fabulous experience, but be prepared for wine cost shock.
The food was incredible. We had wine marinated beef cheeks and rabbit meatballs with a pasta first course. Our waiter, Luis, was great. His service made the meal memorable and he is one of the best waiters we have ever been served by. We loved our date night out at a great restaurant.
