Great food, drinks & service. We were outside in a kind of tent arrangement, but there were heaters running, and we were never neglected by the staff, even though we were the only party out there.
Their food is amazing. I've been twice and both times their food has been high quality, rich, and savory. I highly recommend the butter noodles with sage.
They are handling covid procedures very well. We were asked to put our masks back on any time staff approached our table. The tables were spaced very far apart with a full height plexiglass barrier between tables. And even with this, we had a lovely dining experience. Delicious meal!
Wonderful service, delicious fare. Highly recommend.
Everything was great. Could have spaced out the food more though
Amazing experience at Spinasse per usual. Outstanding food, wine and service! They have some of the best precautions being taken with the pandemic; such as mandatory mask wearing when the waiter is present, increased distancing and plastic dividers between tables!
The Tajarin butter and sage is absolutely divine. I have never tried a pasta with such a nice flavor and texture. I’m highly recommending everyone here when they say they will visit Seattle. Service was just as good as the food.
Spinasse is one of our favourite restaurants. We went for my girlfriend's birthday -- everything was excellent, as we expected! The handmade pasta was delicious; both the tajarin and the cavatelli were top-notch. The desserts were quite good as well.
Delicious food and cocktails, wonderful space!
Great place and everything was amazing
Our experience was excellent, the pasta was truly amazing! My favorite was the the Tajarin al Ragu - amazing flavors!! Also, the beef cheeks were amazingly tender and decadent. The only thing that we didn't like was the cold air coming in from the front door being constantly opened and closed (We were seated just a few feet away). Wish they had a curtain or something to shield that. Otherwise, fantastic service and they took every possible safety precaution during Covid!
Spinasse is taking COVID-19 protocol and cautious processes very seriously, which is appreciated. Food and service was fantastic as always!
Outstanding food and very cautious with COVID protocols. The ragu and halibut were some of the best I've ever had. I'm not a food critic by any means, but this was one of the best meals I've had in Seattle.
Fantastic taste and we ordered almost everything on the menu. Will definitely be coming back!
This was the best Italian we’ve ever had! Absolutely outstanding.
Beautiful food, exceptional service and special as always.
Simply the best pasta in and around Seattle. Try to visit to Truffle season for the best ever!
Delicious food with a great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. Restaurant is set up in a way that gave us a sense of comfort while dining during these unusual pandemic times.
Just visited Spinasse for the third time in a year so this review is a culmination of all three experiences.
Oct 2019 was our first visit for our wedding anniversary. It fell on a Saturday so I made the reservation 6+ weeks in advance because it was near impossible to get a weekend slot! The meal was unbelievable and so memorable. The ambiance was romantic but in a rustic, cozy, and elegant way rather than a stuffy and uptight way. We loved the wine and cocktails and the ability to see past the bar into the kitchen where the pastas were being made. We had a beef bruschetta app with a fonduta cheese sauce that makes me salivate over a year later. The major bummer is the menu is seasonal so who knows if they will ever get it back?? Everything we had was SO delicious but the simple sage and butter pasta is the star. Tastes like grown up mac & cheese and we nearly licked the plate clean.
Jan 2020 we attended a private holiday party. It was gorgeous and intimate and the food was outstanding again.
Oct 2020 we visited again for our anniversary. A definite shift in ambiance with all of the COVID measures in place but we were just thankful to get to have a real date in a real restaurant. We came on a Monday and the vibe is much more casual (lots of walk ins) so it feels a bit less exclusive. My two disappointments were: no bruschetta option as a starter. We got the crepes which were great but neither of us is a big fan of mushrooms. We were also disappointed that one of the two veggie side options (tomatoes) were unavailable that evening, leaving only the kale. I normally am a kale fan but I'm currently pregnant and the baby inside me is NOT. So we ordered and extra salad which was good as well. Do not miss the beef cheek entree!
loved the vibe, service was very nice and the food was delicious
Great dining on the "patio". We had a sampling of several of the antipasti and pastas. The best pasta in Seattle; always freshly made and with mouth watering sauces. You can't go wrong here--everything is delicious.
Awesome restaurant, definitely best Italian in Seattle!
Spinasse is my favorite restaurant in Seattle. It is great for special occasions and all of the pasta dishes are phenomenal. I try to take anyone who is visiting from out of town.
Food was good but options are limited plus they didn't allow any substitutions even for food restrictions so I was only able to eat half of my meal. Service was poor largely due to hyper inflexibility. I won't return.
Best restaurant in Seattle, excellent food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend
Overall, food was pretty mediocre besides the bell peppers. Overpriced for small portion of food that didn't even taste that good. Wouldn't recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner this evening. Food and service were excellent as usual. We have yet to find anything we wouldn't order again.
The food was delicious, and they are extra cautious about Covid exposure offering only outdoor seating and requiring masks with each interaction. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Best Italian restaurant in Seattle. GM Angela has built a fantastic Italian wine list. We are outside after a rain that cleared out the smoke.
A group from work decided to do the menu tasting with wine pairing, and it was gloriously gluttonous. Excellent service, and the meal was delicious.
I love the food at Spinasse. I gave it 4 star only do to their Covid rules. I understand wearing a mask to come in and get seated. The restaurant is seated at 50% capacity. Great. But the host asked us to wear a mask every time the waiter came to our table. So, basically I was mask on mask off... i was literally on the look out for the waiter. I couldn’t relax. Probably won’t go back until things get a bit more relaxed.
I have been wanting to check out Spinasse for quite some time, and it exceeded my already high expectations. Even during these weird Covid times, I was impressed with the amount of effort Spinasse made to make my dining experience as safe and sanitary as possible. But on to the food, everything was delicious! The best meal of the evening was the pasta with braised short rib. Service was also very helpful!
Great food. Great service. Very kind and thoughtful about the safety of their patrons.
I am newish to Seattle and had only experienced Spinasse to go and was so fired up to eat at the restaurant. Mind blown. Butter and sage took me to a dreamland. Everything was spectacular. They even let us order off a super secret dessert menu. I'm not telling what it was. You'll have to find out for yourself
What a great experience! Fantastic meal. We will eat here again and I recommend you do as well.
Spinasse is doing an excellent job at creating a positive customer experience during the pandemic. We've been twice because we value the way they are keeping customers and staff safe.
The waitstaff was very nice and professional. The food was very delicious and I recommend going!
I’ve been trying to get a reservation for almost a year. Finally got in for my birthday. Was not disappointed. Note this was during COVID so we were seated outside on the side street, so the ambience wasn’t amazing and the street was noisy, but it didn’t ruin a wonderful night. We started with the grape, blue cheese and radicchio salad. Then we had the cavatelli pasta with short rib ragu. Then the rabbit meatballs with creamy polenta. Finally, the panacotta with fresh nectarines. Every dish was fresh and flavorful. My husband and I shared everything and enjoyed every bite. The staff were friendly, gracious and attentive without smothering. I really appreciated the mask wearing enforcement for us and the staff. We had a wonderful night and I can’t wait to take friends back!
Decent happy hour pricing but food was nothing to write home about.
The food was amazing!!! We felt very safe during this time of the pandemic.
