Was not expecting this. Adorable restaurant with outstanding food. Really outstanding. Had a delicious Branzino and amazing pasta. Really excellent quality. Also had a super delicious Nebbiolo too. Great service. All in all if you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend them.

Spiga has been in a state of transition the past year or two. It used to be one of the very, very best Italian restaurants in the western suburbs and has clearly regained its former glory. My wife and I visited recently and had a truly memorable dinner! Can't wait to return!!!

I had a Business luncheon planned for dining at Spiga. Everyone was impressed with the sercice, the ambiance, and the creativity of their meals. It was my fourth visit this month. I can't wait to return. Ask for Sandra, she is a member of the waitstaff, her service is outstanding.

Had been our favorite Italian restaurant.
They were closed for renovations for a few months.
This was our first meal there since.
Not sure if there is a new chef or what the reason for the change was.

Bread pudding was lackluster in terms of flavor, lamb skewers were kind of a joke as were the rosemary potatoes; just a baked potato with rosemary sprinkled on as opposed to roasted it with them. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice, but the food definitely left a lot to be desired. Was an anniversary but no mention was ever made. Probably won't be back because of the food alone.

Lunch at Spiga is a treat. The menu is varied and interesting with several specials each day. THe service was friendly yet professional. The presentations are beautiful and the food is yummy. Do not miss dessert.

Interesting menu, good food and reasonable prices. The short rib with mushroom risotto special was excellent, if a bit spendier than most items on the regular menu. The Carbonara had a twist to the typical recipe by the addition of salmon, and the chimichurri sauce on the lamb tasted super fresh. Definitely worth a return trip to sample more of the menu.

The food was nice, but I'm not very impressed. We ordered CAPE BAY MUSSELS, CHITARRA ALLE VONGOLE, SEAFOOD STEW. They were all seafoods. Overall they taste good, especially the seadfood stew. Chitarra alle vongole is lacking flavor. Probably my taste is different, but the food is absolutely authentic. If you are a fan of Italian food, then this would probably is the place for you.

Wonderful service. A very warm welcome and great service throughout the meal. I was in town for a business trip and dining alone but I was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed Spiga a lot!

Hidden jewel off Needham St, you wouldn't know it there's unless someone told you. Close to my office and a favorite to bring customers to for a good meal. Not cheap but very tasty and very pleasant staff.

We were a party of 4 on a busy Saturday night. This was our first time here but certainly not our last! The restaurant was full so it's best to make a reservation. We were pleasantly greeted and suggested we have a glass of wine at the bar for few minutes for our table to be ready. They make very good use of the square footage in the restaurant as there are a lot of tables but you are not with the feeling of being crowded. Service was perfect. From the wine to the appetizers to the entree to the dessert we loved everything. And one in our group is a total foodie and had nothing but high praise for the food/service. Its an open kitchen which is fun to glimpse into the workings of a well trained/executed staff. There are many Italian food restaurants but I am happy that we were introduced to Spiga and can't wait to return.

We were disappointed in some of the food -- especially the Caesar salad, which had a partially cooked egg on top of wilted lettuce. Probably would not go there again although our waitress was very good.

The food was excellent (calamari appetizer, mushroom risotto with sliced veal special, and the three meat bolognese). My wife asked for a wine recommendation, and it was exactly what she was looking for. Our server was great, and we never felt rushed at all. We love Spiga and always are surprised at the value we get for such a great experience.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was exemplary. The menu offers a nice balance of traditional and innovative dishes and all of our selections were delicious. The pasta was fresh. I can’t say enough about this gem of a restaurant. I will be back very soon.
