Definitely not the best Italian around... pasta had no flavor..
Highly recommend... Fabulous food and great server!
We were at great table, noisy, but had good service
Everything good except we were at a table inside against a window. The flies were annoying and diminished the quality of the meal.
Favorite neighborhood place love everything about it food service atmosphere
Food wasn’t quite what we’ve had before but all else was awesome!
Terrible bread for an Italian restaurant
All great except for noise level!
Great place in North Scottsdale! Food is always good and the service is as well...its our go to place and we are never disappointed!
Great food, nice look and good service
The food was delicious as usual.
My pasta was on point and my husband loved his squid ink pasta.
The service could have been better.
We were not told the specials, we waited a longer than usual time for our food, and my leftovers weren’t even put in a bag.
The food was very good with a large selection. Wine list is also impressive. Only issue was the noise level was too loud when we first sat down. Was better as the crowd thinned out.
The hostess & bar service were great. However, when seated in the main dining, we had to flag-down our server more than half the time. The food was fresh, but flavorless. Shellfish chewy. Wine was decent. Definitely geared toward turn & burn as opposed to dining.
Enjoyed our lunch!
Party of 6. All ordered different dishes for variety. No one felt their meal met expectations. We were disappointed in that many had recommended this restaurant, but our experience was anything but. The service was disappointing. Waiter was nice and pleasant, but extremely slow. Overall, not the kind of experience we were looking for. Would not recommend, and will not be returning. There are far too many great options available in the area.
Fern runs a superb restaurant. The food , the wine and the service are always superb. My wife & I highly recomend Spiga.
Great meal. Grilled octopus is probably the best starter. I was pleased with the veal Milanese—a breaded veal chop with salad. My husband loved his grilled shrimp, but swears he’s having the veal Milanese next time! We ate on the patio so the noise level was acceptable.
We're returning this Friday, 2/21
Excellent food and beautiful restaurant. Great service and menu is unreal
Our "go-to" neighborhood restaurant, never disappoints!
My husband and I had reservations for his birthday on valentines weekend but got seated 30 minutes early! The service and good were excellent. We plan on going back and sitting outside this time.
Usally our favorite but maybe with it being Valentines day weekend they could not keep up. Service started good but had to resort to yelling at our waiter across the room to get any service. Usally good service here but we felt ignored a good portion of the night. Food was good as usual. Also, be sure to tell them what size pour of wine you want, they just bring you the large one and say sorry we just assumed. Not usually happy with those underhanded methods. Left feeling for what we paid we could have gone numerous other places and had a better experience.
Great food and really nice atmosphere - upscale. Main issues are noise and service. It gets very loud and hard to talk. Patio would be nice but haven't been able to get it. Also, servers are good but not enough of them so service suffers. Bread offering is average, however, food is really good so will keep going back!
The outdoor seating on the patio was way too crowded. It was chilly outside, but the heaters fixed that. The short rib ravioli with mushroom sauce was very good.
Everything was great, waiters were excellent. Noise level was high. I made reservations earlier in the week and when we got there asked if we could sit outside and greeter said you have to request that when booked. Open table does not have a request for inside or outside and we We there at 5 and there were plenty open tables out there which I am sure would have accommodated our group of 4.
This restaurant is ALWAYS top notch! The service, the atmosphere and the food are always excellent. One of our favorite places to eat!
It’s was probably the fact that it was Valentine’s Day, but my impression is they were not ready to handle the crowd food wise. The food was nothing special, and regret spending what I did. Again, probably my fault for going on V day.
Great valentines menu
My wife had the Salmon Burrata appetizer, the Beef Tenderloin entree & the Tiramisu dessert. Each was delicious. I had the Caesar Salad, the Sesame Encrusted Salmon entree & the Tiramisu dessert. I enjoyed my Caesar Salad & my Tiramisu dessert. The Salmon was dry and tasteless. I love Spiga’s Grilled Branzino (Mediterranean Sea Bass) but it wasn’t available the evening we dined at Spiga.
Great food, great service, great ambiance.
Went for Valentine’s Day, they had a special menu. Food was okay but definitely not worth the $70 p.p. for a basic three course meal. Salmon was well overcooked and dry..Service was poor and still they automatically added 20% gratuity to the bill... not satisfying experience.
This was our second visit to Spiga and we will definitely be back. The food was great and the service was even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Tip: ask for Sal he is an outstanding waiter with more than 30yrs in the industry. He is a wonderful guide for this old world culinary experience.
Just okay. Service was great. Food was bland - meatball appetizer was delivered cold.
We went there last year for Valentine's day, but this year we were disappointed. The noise level was really high, the horsdeouvres was cold, they appeared to have acquired and lined up many tables for two close together, and it was not great. My husband has ossobucco that was great. I had shrimp over pasta that didn't have a lot of flavor. The salad and dessert I had were great, my husband's Caesar lackluster. At $70 per person, our bill was $230 and not worth it. For an Italian restaurant, most of the entrees did not have pasta, and it was very disappointing as well. We have been to several restaurants in the area that stray from what they do well on holidays to make it easier for them but we won't go back.😒
Valentines set menu. Felt rushed our dessert was put on the table and was not asked if we would like coffee or after dinner drink. The pasta was suppose to be garlic and butter but way too much lemon wasn’t that good although the pasta was cooked perfectly
We went for the Valentines special. Service was great. Food was just ok. Not worth the $70 each. Caesar was bland. Apps were just ok. I like this place but this was not a great experience.
