As always a great neighborhood restaurant
Great food and warm inviting atmosphere!!
Everything was great. It was a bit loud but we sat in the bar area.
Excellent as usual but being Saturday night the restaurant was packed and very noisy ( even on the patio).
However, the food as ever was great. Always visit here when we are in a Scottsdale.
Patio seating is very tight
Service was excellent. Food is good.
Great food and service at competitive prices.
We had a very nice lunch today. The food was excellent. It was well prepared and quite tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. We will most certainly go back.
Best food and appetizers in town. The owners are so accommodating. You couldn’t ask for better waiters or wait staff. Love love it!
It was wonderful as always!! We live it here!
This place was AMAZING. Everyone in our group raved about how great a job I did picking the restaurant. My friend couldn't get over how good the pasta was, couldn't decide id it was better than the delicious shrimp. My bouillabaisse was the best I've ever had.
I liked the feel of the restaurant. We had patio seating on a great night. Our waiter was very nice but I thought service was slow. We ordered a grilled seafood entree that was probably the wrong choice. It was tasteless, yet salty. Perhaps, a pasta entree would have been a better choice.
Everything was wonderful except the noise level. Would probably go back during the week. Saturday was terribly noisy and it was hard to carry on a conversation
The restaurant ambiance was lovely and the service was excellent. We had the mussels and calamari appetizers— the mussels were delicious. We thought the calamari portion was a little small and mostly greens on the plate. The fresh pastas were fantastic and the pizza was a big hit with my daughter. My husband really enjoyed his salmon dish as well. We will definitely be back!!
Food took forever. Pasta and meat was dry, needs sauce. One dish came out completely cold. Took forever to get our entrees after our salads.
We absolutely LOVE Spiga! The service is exemplary, the food is exquisite, the wine is yummy, and the ambiance is electric. Highly recommend.
Spiga is great all around. Best Italian food in the area; great service; deep well-priced wine list. It’s family owned and operated and it shows in the high quality of the food and service and the welcoming atmosphere.
Food is always good but it is very loud and can be difficult to have a conversation with your own table.
Essen gut, Lautstärke extrem
No parking. We had the beet ravioli as an appetizer. It was very delicious. I had the house made pasta with boulonnaise sauce. The sauce was bland. The pasta was overcooked. Nice portions 0ver all I would give the dish a C.
Over all, it's a nice place. The food is just OK. The service was exceptional. I think I'll try it again and order something different.
Beautiful night on the patio. Vibrant atmosphere. Seth was a great waiter. Food was excellent. Nice evening.
I was looking for homemade pasta and caprice salad. This place was amazing. Can’t wait to go back to Scottsdale to eat here!
Our first visit had mixed results. The special veal dishes, and the spare ribs off the menu, were all very good, but the bucatini was just fair. The service was very good. But the wine prices were excessive.
Great variety of menu items. Portions are generous. Service was slower than we are used to
Absolutely incredible food, service and atmosphere
Restaurant was recommend by a good friend, although our experience was sub par. We were a party of six which limited our seating choices which was fine. Service was extremely slow with promises made and not kept. Server would check on us, saying will be back with water and disappear. Food was not all that great - not terrible - but for the price, was not what we expected. Will we come back, probably not.
One of my favorite places! Food, service, everything is very good.
Amazing service, best Italian in Arizona hands down
Great ambiance, excellent food. The crowd was mainly local patrons which made for an enjoyable laid back atmosphere. The night time lighting was superb with candlelit tables and rustic wood decor. The seafood risotto and pappardelle bolognese were delicious. The quality of food dishes was there and the menu pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend to any friend, business associate or family member.
Fantastic restaurant, excellent food, wine, and personnel. Owner delivered our main dish.
Seated 45 minutes later than reservation time. Was told twice our table was being cleared. Just felt like hostesses were not straight with us. After seated and given menus and water, didn’t see our wait again for 15 minutes.
Even with reservations, a long wait standing around with very little idea. Guess bad time of the week and the wait isn't really worth it. Probably would give a little better review if I went in the middle of the week.
Very high energy, loud, noisy, very Italian! Beautiful place, excellent service, exquisite food and wine. This isn't your common American version of Italian; this is a step into Italy and its vibrant culture! The owner can be seen walking around checking on people and greeting guests, many who seemed to be repeat "family" and not just considered guests. We would definitely recommend Spiga to foodies and vibrant atmosphere lovers.
We were there with a party of six adults - three birthdays this week. Great food, service tended to be a little slow, but given a large wedding rehearsal dinner group, it's understandable. What is not understandable is the very high ambient noise lever. You may call it energetic - we would call it very loud. We could not hold a conversation amongst the six of us. Perhaps, the patio might have been better, but it was sold out three days out.
We'll go back for the food and the servers - but only on a quiet evening
Food was amazing. From the appetizers to desserts to wine and cocktails! Loved it!
Went to Spiga Saturday night and was seated immediately, after 10-15 minutes our server stopped by to take our drink order and appatizer. The calamari was rubbery, luke warm, and badly in need of seasoning. Our salads were ok but on the small side. Our main entrées were OK but the pasta with shrimp was inconsistent with the pasta a bit overcooked and the shrimps also inconsistent some cooked perfectly and some rubbery. Noise was typically Scottsdale loud for a Sat. night.
Overall not up to prior visits there.
Had a group of 6 and we were sat in a back room filled with quite a few tables and large groups...very hard to talk to people in our group because of the noise level. Felt our waiter had too many tables - in my opinion. Our food was good. There was a large wedding in the venue so felt things were a little behind on the food and like I said felt our waiter had too many tables.
The main problem was the unbelievable noise level this past Friday evening! Two of us ordered the special Veal Chop. I had to sent my back because it was too rare for medium request. The other person had same issue as well as his was mostly fat and grissle. Even the patio seemed ridiculously loud. Will not go back on a weekend for sure!
There was some much noise it was very hard to hear anything, fish dishes were very good, veal was awful! We waited for over 10 minutes to just get our bill and that was after the same wait for our table to be cleared when we were done. This was our first time at the restaurant, very crowded, very loud, and very marginal food.
It doesn’t disappoint. Starting with the bread with a seasoned butter, to a great Caesar and a pasta al fungi as a main, it was all fantastic. Portions are very generous and preparations are first class. The piece de resistance is the tiramisu which is definitely a must.
The servers are very good and personable. We had David this time. Perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Alway great food and drinks. Fernando runs one of the best restaurants in Scottsdale.
