Spice Village Grill
It was my first time having real (not from a box) Indian food and this place came highly recommended. We went on a Tuesday evening so it was a little slower than I've seen this place when I've walked past it before, but that worked to our advantage as everything came out quickly - and it did not disappoint! Generous portions and, from what my partner told me, homespun twists on traditional Indian cuisine. Can't wait to go back and try out more things on the menu!
Food was good, but service was leisurely and the sound system kept buzzing during dinner. I would go back.
This was the first time my husband and I ate at Spice Village Grill. We were intrigued by the Indian Cuisine and it did not disappoint! Each dish was flavorful and balanced. We thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful explanations of the menu from the wait staff. Would highly recommend this dining experience.
Flavorful spiced food without the heat. Everything was delicious especially the Chicken Tikka Marsala was super yummy. Even my 6 years old daughter who is usually picky enjoyed the food. We will definitely go back. Conveniently locate at Huntington Village Main Street.
Food was good...service was courteous, attentive but not over bearing. The dinner was reasonably priiced
Barely acknowledged by the restaurant and then ignored while we sat waiting for someone to take our order. After 10 minutes of sitting there waiting to be approached by the waiter, we just got up and left. Very unfortunate because it was our anniversary and we were looking forward to trying it.
Chicken korma was good. Very friendly, cozy ambience.
Awesome food and amazing drinks!
I came to this last year , it’s was excellent , this time it was my worst experience , the menu changed , instead of nan bread we got something oven backed, it was a total deszastar , I will go or recommend this place to anyone
Everything was excellent. We have been eating there for a few years and it is always good. We have introduced people over the years and they go back. Today we were with one couple we introduced a little while ago and wanted to come back. The other couple had never been there and swore they didn’t like Indian food. They were very glad we took them and they loved the meal. So whether you like South Asian cooking or not, this is the place to eat. Trust me on that.
Very accommodating for my party/reservation, very good food, a nice atmosphere. will come here again!
The delicious food is the main attraction, but Spice Village is also a nice environment for dinner. The service from this family-owned business is very attentive and the quiet atmosphere is great for a date night or getting together with friends.
We have been here a number of times. The food and service is consistently good and that’s why we go back.
Had been here once before and this time was even better. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. Will come back again.
Pretty good food. Service was okay.
A nice restaurant with comfortable seating and attractive surroundings. The food is solid and the vegetarian selections are plentiful. Even a vegan can find a few options. One negative was the pita bread which seemed stale and warmed over more than once.
Service was good, food was good, value was eh. I guess that is expected with tapas though
Always delicious. Very friendly atmosphere. A pleasant dining experience
I don't usually take the time to write reviews but the food and overall experience was lovely. Having just moved into the area, it was nice to find a neighborhood gem with a delicious interesting menu, attentive staff and a cozy interior. We will be back soon.
The Khow Suey soup and guacamole were amazing as was the calamari. The staff was great and everything looked delicious!
Unfortunately the beef burger was very dry and so was the chicken in the stuffed mushroom.
Plates has really delicious and unique cocktails!
Food is tasty but the kebab consists of 80% onions. Not worth the price tag. Overall pricing is a bit on the expensive side for tapas but I was very upset about the kebabs.
Really like this place and enjoy the food. We mostly order the small plates but we seem to fill up fast. Great cocktails as well.
They never disappoint! The food and the service are top notch. It’s our favorite restaurant to visit when we’re in Huntington.
The food and service were exceptional. There are many gluten free and dairy free options on the menu. The flavors in each dish were unique and pleasing to the palate. The pomegranate wings were fantastic ...wish there were more than two.
Great food and drinks, plenty of options, good service. Parking was the only difficult part (street parking on a weekend night could be difficult).
Always excellent service & excellent food!
One of our go to favorites. It never disappoints.
it was good, maybe even very, very good. good portions, good quality, reasonable prices. service was great. quiet, small place
I've been to spice village numerous times and always have a good experience. Food is delicious and different. The cashew chicken and lamb chops were delicious as were the samosa appetizer. Great lychee martinis. Service was attentive and friendly. Will be back to try other dishes.
Good food; great appetizers ; pleasant helpful servers; plenty of food; enough to take home; only drawback was wine by the glass was a little expensive.
We had a really nice meal at Plates last week. Since it was our first time, we ordered several appetizers so we could try a bunch of different things. We enjoyed everything and the service was excellent.
Always an EXCELLENT meal at Spice Village!!!
Had a wonderful Mothers Day lunch with excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend this restaurant and it's sister establishment, Plates which is right next door!
The restaurant was too cold. We went on a cold day and they had the air conditioner blasting. Everyone in the restaurant had their coats on and were freezing.
The food is pretty good.
Food was ok but we have had better ata lot of other places. The naan came out hot but was dry. The tandoori chicken was over cooked and lacking tandoori spices. The veggies were good. The wine bottle was placed unopened on the table. Thankfully it was a screw top and not a cork.
Food was excellent..
Food is excellent. Service, however, was not. We waited a long time for someone to come over and at the end we were forgotten about. I will say our server was friendly and appeared she was between the two restaurants. No one appeared to be running everything. Overall disappointing, food saved it though. If I go back, takeout is the way to go.
The service was great; they made us feel like we were regulars. The food was excellent, from apps to soup to dessert. Rice pudding was out of this world. Chicken vindaloo as well. We will go back soon.
My husband and I wanted to try some good cultural Indian food before seeing a show at the paramount. We never had this kind of food. The food was good being a first time experience . My husband had the whole fish with great spices. He loved it. I had the shami kebab, didn't like it too dry but the quema naan was delicious and so was the cashew nut chicken. We were the only people there on this small place. Pakistani slammer was delicious! The negative part was when we first walked in the owner was arguing with a waitress! Had a negative vibe! Unprofessional when customers are there
