   The food was wonderful!! Everyone working at the restaurant was kind and helpful. But I suspect most of their business is take out. They seemed almost surprised that we ate there. By the way, food? Fantastic. Which is the point.

   This is a wonderful hidden gem. The food is wonderful - the menu has a great variety with options more than the usual you see on a subcontinent/indian restaurant. The quality and flavors in the food is what has us wanting to go back. Our server was a patient and pleasant. We had momos, grilled sandwich and malai kofta with garlic naan. Loved all the items, each of them better than what I’ve had in any restaurant around here. Will definitely go back and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat flavorful Indian food (with options from Nepalese cuisine).

   Located directly across Market Street from the acclaimed Zuni. Very convenient walking distance to Civic Center and Hayes Valley. The block on this side has a depressed feel to it at the moment, and the restaurant is super plain inside. But the food is absolutely first rate and remarkably inexpensive.

   Excellent food - great diversity in menu items - more than the usual curries. The best momos I have ever had.

   Really excellent delicious food, especially Cauliflower Yogurt and Shrimp Pakora to begin; then Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani and Lemon Jasmine Rice. All three of us shared all of them. The only alcoholic drinks they have are beers, so only one had IPA, and then we had mango lassi and masala chai. Our young server was very nice but needed to know more about the Indian food we were asking about that was on their menu. We would still recommend getting food there or taking food home.

   I can never believe that there aren’t more people here - Most past reviews note how good the food is and they are right! A great selection and I imagine they do a great take out business but the restaurant itself is pleasant and quiet. 5 Star food and Five Star value.

   Absolutely stunningly delicious food. The quality is not matched by the atmosphere, but that's a quibble. There were 3 other tables, and everyone was exclaiming about how delicious everything was.
