Spice Market Punta de Mita
Inside of the Hotel W in Punta de Mita, Spice Market Beach is a restaurant dedicated to exploring the flavors of Southeast Asia. The restaurant takes its style from the family-style dining traditions that are common throughout the region. Here, instead of the guest ordering a meal and having it delivered, food arrives at the table throughout the course of the whole meal and is meant to be shared amongst the entire group. Spice Market Beach carries food from multiple countries including Taiwain, Vietnam, Korea and China. Spice Market Beach specializes in the various curries as well as tandoori chicken and vinegar-infused pork vindaloo.
Súper buen servicio , explicación de cada platillo y muy buenas sugerencias
Muy buena comida en un ambiente de primera!
Wonderful and so tasty!!!
We ordered a "Variedad de sashimi", which had only 4 small pieces of rice, 2 of them with tuna and 2 of them with avocado. No variety whatsoever, and no sashimi whatsoever. Value for money, extremely expensive. I would never go back nor recommend it to anyone. Staff was kind, though.
Beautiful! Wonderful food, drinks and great service. Will definitely return!
Todo es espectacular, desde el hotel W, pasando por la decoración del restaurante hasta la presentación y sabores que llegan a la mesa. Una experiencia increíble.
Comida , Servicio , Atención .....Excelente!!
El menu de degustación increíble.
Food was good. Improved from last visit. Excellent!
Great waiters and staff. Attentive to our needs and requests
Was an amazing experience! Food was phenomenal!
Great menu and flavors!
the taste was good but the fish looked bare..add some.vegetables or some.decoration to it. It's expensive for what you get.
waiters very attentive and informed
Excelente comida y servicio. Muy buen ambiente y decoración.
De los mejores lugares en punta mita con opciones para veganos muy buen ambiente y un servicio excelente
The food is fabulous!
The service is amazing
Eduardo runs the place very well!
The worst ever! Would never go there again even if the meal was free!
We brought every generation from great grandma to 4 month baby. Everyone was amazed by the food. We shared everything so we were able to try half of the menu. The check was more reasonable than expected. Outstanding service.
Disappointing. The food was "good" but not what we expected in terms of quality and flavor. The service was not great, they were kind and nice but slow, inefficient, confused and exhausted. We did dine on January 1, so I am sure this was part of the problem.
The service was really great and we loved the ambiance of the atmosphere. Some of the reviews mention the music being too loud - that’s kind of the W vibe, and we enjoyed it. Not too loud at all.
The food was good and the wine we selected paired nicely with our meal. We’ll definitely dine here again.
Amazing restaurant at the W hotel at Punta de Mita. Definitely going back on our next stay at the hotel. Food was spectacular. Our waitress (sorry for not remembering his name) was super attentive (but everyone at the hotel is very attentive too so you wont complain about this anywhere). They had a live DJ with amazing lounge music. The place have all the potential to be a nice lounge hotspot after hours, but I guess since many folks are going there for honeymoon they have other plans in mind for late night...
I live in Sayulita have been to Spice Market many times and always hoping that they would listen to what I had to say when dinner was over. So once again music to loud . Last time I had dinner they had 3 other diners, when I asked if music could be turned down they said" no this is what our diners want". I said" you only have 3 other tables now" and we cannot talk. The waiters are always hovering over. Have to remind them to slow down. They always say "our you still working on that "meaning our food on table. No I am eating not working . I think the restaurant is over priced, and not worth another visit.
Great place! Food is wonderful !! Ultra recommended: chicken soup with coconut milk!! Like the music a lot (live DJ).
The music is to loud. You cannot talk to the people across from you. When we asked for the manager to turn down music her reply was "this is how we like the music. There were only 3 other diners in the restaurant. Food is good but brought out to fast.
Great food and great service. We went back again the following day after our first reservation. Good DJ too.
The food was just ok and the servings were small. The egg rolls were very greasy. Our service was excellent and I liked the wine list. They were setting up for an event so it was loud and somewhat busy which was a distraction
I would go again if they can improve some things
Outstanding restaurant inside the W Punta de Mita hotel. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Waiter told us that service was not included and that we should give 15%. The bill clearly had service included. When we asked the manager, he told us confirmed that service was included.
The food. The service. The ambiance. All amazing!
Outstanding! The flavours here are just amazing. Love it!
El servicio fue fenomenal , profesionales en el área , la comida buena pero no lo suficiente por el valor pagado , la atmósfera es bastante buena y sin duda un buen lugar para cenar..
Oustanding dishes made us come back 3 nights in a row. Try the Tuna tartare and then the Cauliflower dumplings. Awesome!
This restaurant really missed the mark for a W. The food was below average with an overuse of Asian 5 Spice and a lack of understanding from the chef on how to prepare Asian fusion. Even the Spring Rolls were not good. Will not go to again and would not recommend.
Started out OK. Should have quit after drinks and appetisers. Waiter was to ask chef if entree fish could be steamed or grilled, as did not want it fried. Did not return with answer. Brought fried fish. We did not eat most of it. Cleared table and did not bring second entree until we asked for it after dessert menu was presented. The shrimp in that entree was overcooked, overspiced, and the noodles were neither hot nor cold. Did not eat most of that either. A dessert was offered after the check was presented and paid. The hostess packed up a "chocolate" dessert in a take-out bag. As we were about to board the shuttle for the parking
area, the hostess/manager ran after us to state they had given us the wrong check and to collect
an additional $22. USD. She did not know how to insert the credit card with chip and I had to
show her how. Had not reviewed either check (shame on me), so who knows?? Quite an anniversary celebration. BEWARE! Attempts to contact GM and Asst. GM were unanswered.
