About

Spice India in Easton, Pennsylvania, serves authentic Indian cuisine. Here, the culinary traditions of India are of paramount importance. Inside the kitchen is a special masaal-dan, an Indian spice box. Inside are all the seeds, stalks, barks, stems and leaves that give the cuisine its distinct flavors. The interior of the dining room has traditional and elegant Indian decor.

Spice India has items on its menu that can appeal to all palates, whether the guests is craving mild or spicy. One of the more mild dishes that is extremely popular is the butter chicken, which features marinated chicken in a sweet and savory broth. Spice India also houses a traditional clay oven, in which the tandoori dishes are baked. These include delectable beef, chicken, seafood and goat entrees, usually prepared on kebabs with grilled vegetables.

The food was very good and the restaurant was clean. Service was also very good, even though they only offered 3 spice levels, you can order inbetween them in case you want something a little hotter than mild, but are afraid of getting something too hot to eat if you go hot.

The service was great and the staff was warm and friendly. Excellent food with a small lunch buffet. Perfect for those looking to try Indian cuisine.

The food was very good and restaurant was very clean. I took a chance ordering my food spicy and it was that, but not overly spicy like I find in most other Indian restaurants. we ordered from the menu, not the buffet and everything was delicious. If you like Indian food, I recommend giving Spice India in Easton a try.

The menu was quite wordy, We couldn't easily decide which entree to select... Everything seemed so appetizing. Unfortunately, the waitress was not able to help with recommending a plate. What we did decide to go with, however, was delicious!

Spice India does not have a liquor license, which is great if you like to BYOB!

I thought i will loose my indian taste bud when in PA USA. Didn't know there was a restaurant that caters to the indian. Coming from Malaysia we are spoiled with spice n heat in our food. However have limited drinks choices. The people n food is very good. I will recommend this to my Malaysian friends when they are in PA.

The food was good but the service was really lacking. I was very displeased when we noticed that they added gratuity for a table of 5, and did not even mention that to us. We almost double tipped, for service that was very poor. On top of that, we had an open table check, which they refused to honor.

I love Spice India. I've been here on dates, friendly lunches, and huge parties.

Just recently we had a birthday dinner with a party of 12, but they did not get the reservation I made a week in advanced until only a day ahead. At first, they said they could not seat my party together, but after seeing how unhappy I was, rearranged and accommodated anyway. They are really dedicated to their customers and the food is amazing, from those who love it to those who are picky or timid eaters. With 4 kids under 5 years old in our party, we were a little dubious about what they would enjoy. But the mago lassis and cheese naan were a huge hit with the littles. I love it there!

In Spice India, you are part of the family.

The food was very good although we waited an hour for it. Service was extremely poor!!! We asked for drinks many times, no check back, plates were not being cleared (we actually put plates and bread baskets on the floor to make room to eat). The place could be such a gem if they got their act together with service. I would not go again, unless I wanted to spend my entire Saturday night there!

One of our favorite places to go (3 times just in December). The food is always excellent and plentiful. Order a variety and share around the table for the best experience, but beware, when they ask "mild, medium or spicy?", they do mean SPICY!
Great for takeout too.

Had lunch there on Father's Day with a group of 6. There was a lunch buffet which was averagely good, we thought. It appears they tone down the spice for the buffet and I think they tone it down too much. While I understand they are catering to the average American palate, they should not lose the very reason one goes out to eat Indian in the first place. The naan (Indian bread) is excellent. They automatically added an 18% tip even for the buffet which I was surprised by. I usually do tip for buffets as well but not 18% given the "self service".

The restaurant is attractive and comfortable. I appreciated the cloth napkins and pitcher of water provided. The staff is gracious and welcoming, and there was a quality check to ensure satisfaction. The $8.95 price for the lunch buffet was fair. I especially enjoyed chicken tandoori. Everything I consumed was delicious, but based upon this experience, the restaurant in some respects pales in comparison to Indian establishments in my hometown of Pittsburgh, where I am accustomed to enjoying large pieces of cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots in various dishes at every lunch buffet. At Spice India, the pieces of vegetables in the dishes were small and scarce. I would love to see the cauliflower and potato dish that is offered elsewhere.
