We were visiting from Boston and love this spot. Great food and service!!
Food and service was awesome, but we had a reservation and we were sat in a high traffic section of the bar where my chair was constantly getting knocked by people walking by
Fabulous food, great service and generous portions. This was my third time there and I look forward to returning.
Great place to take special friends & family. Servers are knowledgeable and attentive. The food is delicious!
This was my second time dining here and my guest's first time. The food was excellent, all around VERY good. However the meal was dampened by our server's attitude. For some reason, she put on airs that made us feel unwelcome and uneducated in finer dining. If I wasn't with my mother and her friends at dinner, I probably would have gotten up and left, it was that uncomfortable. I don't think a guest of the restaurant needs to have their pronunciation of Tempranillo corrected by a 20 year old. Nor, when a guest asks what's the best cocktail on the menu, need to have eyes rolled at them for such a silly question. Hopefully Jen Carroll reads this and has a word with her servers.
Wonderful meal and experience highly recommend
Excellent meal, great for sharing small plates
Food wasn’t as good as the first time we ate there. Did you change your chef?
Creative cusine. Was a quiet day so I can't evaluate ambiance but it is pretty and food was good.
We loved the small plates. Everything was delicious. 2 flavors of yogurt. Broccoli tabbouleh with lamb sausage - very flavorful. Quiet and calm place for conversation at lunch. Server was helpful and pleasant. I will return many times and recommend it to friends.
Waited 45 min for our order to be taken. Tables seated after us had food and beverages before our order was taken.
Service was fast and very attentive. Dishes were all excellent, and some were truly spectacular (fig leaves, lamb ribs)!
Our meal at Spice Finch was a wonderful experience! We tried several different dishes, including the bean tagine and the watermelon and tomato salad, both of which were outstanding. Herb garnishes were generous and beautiful, such that they became part of the dish, instead of merely a garnish, and everything was absolutely full of flavor. I will be back with the rest of my family!
The food was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back.
Shared various items from the Restaurant week menu with friends. Food was excellent. Service very friendly and timed well. Could hear each other fine even with a busy restaurant. Had a great friends night out
Delicious! I dined here for lunch during restaurant week. My guest and I enjoyed everything we ate! Will definitely be back.
Sean was excellent and provided a detailed explanation to us since it was our first visit to Spice Finch. Everything he said was true, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We can not wait until our next visit, we're looking forward to bringing back friend too.
Very good 3-course lunch for Restaurant Week. Servers were helpful and pleasant.
Great experience here for Center City Restaurant Week! Excellent service, both from our hostesses and our waiter. Made us feel welcomed, explained the menu to us, very attentive to check on us throughout, and not rush us out at the end. Food was all fantastic and great flavors! Will definitely be back.
The food was delicious, but the service was a little slow. Additionally, both me and my guest had stomach cramping following our dinner.
We went during restaurant week. The good news is that the food quality was not reduced. The fish and shrimp was outstanding. Unfortunately our waiter was trying to handle too many tables on this very busy Tuesday night. As a result our shrimp entree wasn't ordered and we ended up waiting a very long time overall. I'll be back but on a less busy night since the food is outstanding.
We went for restaurant week. I would actually give it 4.5 stars if that was possible. The food was very good with lots of interesting Middle Eastern flavors.
Great all around!
The food here is wonderful. This was our first time here for lunch and it was pretty empty, but the service was great and the food is amazing.
Delicious restaurant week introduction. Very well thought out and executed dishes, full sized portions. We left completely satisfied, impressed and determined to return. Great value, well done!
Had forgotten it was Restaurant Week. What a treat! A huge bang for your $ value. A good range of absolutely delicious selections to pick from for $35 (whole fish!) and a wine pairing (2 glasses) for $15. WINNER!
Kitchen was very slow and there is no champagne.. however the table setting is beautiful.
We visited Spice Finch for lunch during Philly Restaurant Week. We ordered from the Restaurant Week three course menu. The food was tasty and well presented. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive. The dining room and bar areas were bright, well lit, and upbeat. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will visit again to try other interesting offerings on the full menu.
It was for a birthday dinner, the five of us did the wine tasting during restaurant week, dishes were lovely and tasted amazing. Had the whole fish, never specified what fish it was, but it was the best white fish of my life!
one of the best meals I have had in Philadelphia in a while. Went for restaurant week and the food was incredible tasting, fresh, and well presented. Will definitely be back!
The food here was great! We went during restaurant week and the portions were pretty decent. We did the wine tasting that was recommended. Service was great. My only complaint was that we were very close to other couples on both sides and It was also a little too warm in the restaurant. Other than that, the food and service was great!
We came for restaurant week, and we will definitely be back!
Restaurant week gave us a chance to try out a full range of dishes from first courses to entrees and dessert. Everything was delicious. Loved the broccoli tabbouleh and the roasted fish! The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining room was very pretty and it was easy to hear even when the room was full of diners.
I took a group of 5 during restaurant week after having a good experience dining at Spice Finch the first time. The second experience did not match the first. The service was abysmal to say the least. The server did not explain that sharing was recommended, so we each ordered individually from the 3-course RR week menu, but they made no effort to place items in front of us or explain which dish was which. Some of us ordered the wine pairing but we all received the wines at different times. Drink orders took exceptionally long even after we'd reminded 2 servers. Entrees came out at different times (up to 30 min from the first to the time the last one arrived). Dessert orders were incorrect.
Overall, it was a horrible experience. I was appalled to have recommended this place to friends and arrange this dinner only to have such a poor meal and service experience.
The service was horrid. This is our first and last visit—and we live in the neighborhood. What a shame, because we enjoyed most of the food (chocolate cake was bone dry, though).
Delicious vegetarian friendly dishes
Server was terrific!!
Foods not worth the price
We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. The food and service were excellent. We were especially pleased to find it was quiet enough to have a conversation, even though there was a table of at least a dozen people across the room. We will definitely be going back.
Food was very greasy and sauce on cauliflower was overpowering
Great spot in the Warwick hotel. Food was excellent and great value during restaurant week. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Interesting takes on mediterranean staples like tabulleh wtih quinoa and broccoli and a beet hummus. The Stuffed grape leaves, which arrived complimentary with a mini mezze. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned.
