   We had a really terrific meal during Restaurant Week. There were enough choices minus the " date dessert" and it there were sizeable portions, great size pours for the wine pairing and very flavorful entrees. The Lamb Kabob was flavorful and the whole fish a hit! We ate there this past summer and had an ok meal but this was a winner in every regard!!!!!!! We will return

   We were so excited to try this restaurant! Unfortunately the service was less than satisfactory. We waited 20-30 minutes put in our food order. We heard people complaining about the slow service all around us. The food was amazing! I absolutely loved the whole snapper fish and the brownie. We then waited 30 minutes for our check. We were at the restaurant for a total of over 2 hours. The service was inattentive and did not make much of an effort. The service did not match the quality of food. We definitely won’t be returning, even though we absolutely loved the food. The service didn’t match the quality of the food.

   Fresh flavors in all of the dishes. The Whole Fish entree for the evening was Red Snapper which was cooked to perfection! You will enjoy your meal here!

   Went for restaurant week in January on a Thursday evening. It was sort of in the middle of surge so we went outside. With the outdoor setup we managed to stay warm most of dinner. Food was amazing. Ordered their version of tabouleh salad made with broccoli (the seasoning was perfect), ordered whole fish as main and that too was also well cooked and finished off with their date truffles. Service was good and ambience was quiet. We were one of very few diners outside. Most were sitting inside. Overall definitely worth the trip. Brunch is great and their happy hour is pretty good. They have sophisticated cocktails.

   Overpriced for the meals/drinks you are getting. Waiter spoke with the table next to us all night and paid no mind to us. Not as busy as what I remember it being in the summer, but I guess I found out why. For prices being moderately high, there should be better service and food.

    Came in for NYE and our red was for 9:30 and we were still able to do the tasting menu despite them closing at 10! Which was so amazing… seated right away… good ambiance, food was well explained, food temp was perfect, drinks were made well, staff was attentive and acknowledged us throughout the night! The only two (maybe) dealbreakers were that or was a bit bright inside & that the restrooms were across the hotel lobby and a bit far for a girl in heels lol. Overall will go again great for dates.. casual dining or special occasions :)

    We originally booked at Del Frisco but it horrifyingly failed. We were so lucky and got last minute reservation at the Spice Finch. It was wonderful! The food was very yummy. We did tasting menu for everyone and got to taste everyone on the menu. The server was experienced and very smooth.

    First time at Spice Finch. Our friends highly recommended and reviews are very high. It did not disappoint. What an amazing array of flavors. We had several starters to share: trio of spreads, lamb ribs - OMG!, roasted cauliflower- delicious, then dry rubbed chicken - so tender and full of flavor, and shakshuka. This was plenty of food for four. At about $100 per couple incl drinks was a great value! Only down side is we ate outside and several heaters ran out of propane so heat was intermittent - a significant distraction. But would definitely come back!

    Food was rich and tasty, portions small but filling. The service was very slow and the restaurant was not even remotely full. From the time we ordered a kebab and dessert, nearly an hour passed. Having brunch with a two year old from 12:30-3pm is less than ideal. We could have avoided a tired tantrum had the service been at a normal speed.

    Tapas style food in a cute setting. Everything was delicious. Restrooms are in the adjacent hotel. Entrance has a flight of stairs, but there is a lift for the hotel that could provide accessible access.

    My wife and I live in center city Philadelphia and have been to Spice Finch three times - once during the week and twice on the weekend. Our experience during the week was excellent. The food was wonderful and the service was as well. Both experiences on the weekend have been extremely disappointing. The restaurant is quite large, and it seems like the kitchen isn't able to keep up with the number of tables that are seated. Again, the food is always great, albeit priced more like a Zahav or a Suraya, but the service just hasn't been up to par. The first experience we arrived at the time of our reservation and waited by the door to be seated for 30 minutes before we decided to just go somewhere else. The second experience, we sat at 7:45 and our entrees still hadn't been served by 9:45. Unfortunately the first communication we had with our waiter about the issue was when we were finally able to flag him down and ask for our check and our food to go. In sum, there are lots of phenomenal Mediterranean restaurants in Philly, and while Spice Finch has outstanding food, we will be going elsewhere instead of gambling on the overall experience again.

    Food was good, did the chefs tasting. Thought the portions for the shishito peppers, baked cheese, and broccoli tabouleh we're rather large portions. The ribs were excellent! (Not part of tasting). Whole fish was good, leek vinaigrette was a bit strong for the fish but overall enjoyable. Service was great!

    What a great night!! Many thanks to our server Monica!!! Professional, attentive, and fun!! They have an expanded wine list. Highly recommend the Gruner Veltliner. Yum!! Nice to meet Manager Ryan. Everything went great! Looking forward to next time!!

    Very good food—nice seasoning palates, nice sized portions, fresh. Server utterly disappeared thru the meal—had to find her to get water, got order wrong, got bill wrong, had to hunt her down for all that too….plus for her to run card to finish the evening. We titled the evening, The Case of the Missing Waitress. Wont go back given those issues.

    Spice Finch is one of my favorite restaurants in Philly! We took my parents when they were visiting and everyone loved it. Nick our server was great and helped us make some decisions on food to share. I love how spacious it is for a city restaurant.

    One of my favorite restaurants in Philly. Great cocktails and amazing food. The lamb shank is to die for. Our sever Kevin really made the experience by being personal and attentive. Would highly recommend!

    Simon, our server, was knowledgeable, attentive, and charming. Simon made our meal a five-star experience. We also really appreciated the fact that the outside booth structure is extremely sturdy and well-designed, with optimum air flow and temperature control. The food was delicious.     Oh my gosh the food was so yummy. Will be again and again going. The lambs ribs and lamb kebabs are amazing but chili chicken was disappointing. Also the ambiance was so good.

    Cool place to meet with friends. Food was good but you just don’t get a lot of food for what you pay for, specifically the meat. Have to be comfortable sharing stuff here.
