Spiaggetta, our namesake, means " little beach" in Italian.
Classic Italian dishes and culinary specialties from the city of Rome.
Since 2012 , we go through great lengths to ensure an authentic experience, from hand making our own pastas, to sticking to traditional Italian kitchen rules when we source only the best, freshest local ingredients for their flavor. The Tarantino family excitedly welcomes you to their roomy " trattoria" either outdoor ( seasonal ) or in the comfortable dining rooms. Our spacious restaurant's banquet room can accomodate you and 99 of your closest friends to celebrate any special event. Marco Tarantino and his team prepare delicious Branzino, his mother's potatoes gnocchi and he dishes the best Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara in South Jersey. When you are here, it feels like you are on in Rome dining with your friends and family. Spiaggetta is a BYOB restaurant. We can't wait to seat you!

    Caccio e pepe was drowning in a heavy cheese sauce and had way too much pepper. The sautéed broccoli rabe was sour instead of bitter. Wondering if it was cooked in vinegar instead of oil. The bronzino was overcooked. The beet salad and the gnocchi special were decent.

    We were quite disappointed in our meal. Both the appetizer and entrées were fair at best. The antipasto had hoards of focaccia bread which overpowered the contents of the board. The cheeses and Italian meats were just ok ( no prosciutto included). The shrimp in my risotto appeared to have been frozen. The chicken parmigiana and spaghetti were tasteless. We skipped the coffee and dessert. Needless to say but this is a one and done. We clearly overpaid for this one.

    The Meatballs are delicious and the Cacio E Pepe is to die for, especially when made tableside by the Chef/Owner. Excellent dining experience!

    After having gone to Rome just a couple months prior, I can tell you this place is 5 stars. The table side cacio de Pepe was amazing. Ever since Rome we’ve been on the hunt for carbonara and cacio de Pepe. This place nailed it. Probably the best Italian restaurant we’ve been to in NJ, and we’ve been to a lot!

    The food was excellent and the staff was gracious and attentive. Continual flow of dinners in and out, but they do not make you feel rushed in any way. Will definitely return.

    The food is always great. This visit we ordered the Chicken Limoncello, Shrimp and Veal saltimbocca. All were excellent. The service here is always very friendly and prompt no matter how busy it is.

    Outstanding in every way. One of the best meals I’ve had ever! Entire family loved it including our celiac family member who got GF pasta and an amazing appetizer!
