Spiaggetta, our namesake, means " little beach" in Italian.
Classic Italian dishes and Roman Cuisine are our specialties.
When you are here, it sure feels like you are on a little beach in Italy though. We go through great lengths to ensure an authentic experience, from hand making our own pastas, to sticking to traditional Italian kitchen rules when we source only the best, freshest local ingredients for their flavor. The Tarantino family excitedly welcomes you to see what real Italian food and hospitality is like, and invites you to spend a night in their dining room in the same way a close friend would host a dinner party. We expertly prepare delicious Branzino or serve our handmade gnocchi and we dish the best Cacio e Pepe this side of Rome.
At Spiaggetta, you are always assured of three things:
fresh ingredients, handmade pasta and warm Italian hospitality.

Overall a fun night. Service was rushed with dishes appearing at the table before the prior course was finished. My Grouper main was dry and a bit over cooked.
We finally made it to The Feast of the 7 Fish.
Wow.... Spectacular food and environment.
Great spread of modern italian cuisine with a classic touch. Baccala with a milk sauce, black gnocchi with a saffron and shrimp , white anchovies bruschetta , grilled grouper cioppino style and more. Great entertainment by a spirited and spiffy electric violin player. Service was paced and attentive. Spiaggetta is a BYOB so we were sure to have have enough wine upon arrival. Flavorful and imaginative meal . Not your classic tomato sauce feast. We were please and the restaurant was full. Kudos to Marco and his family.
Spiaggetta is a perfect accommodation. An elegant blend of ambiance & fine dining.
There was no Italian bread and olive oil on the table.
The food was served cold. The clams were just bread crumbs on a clam shell. The service was slow and the Octopus was very tough.
The service was slow and inconsistent.
We had a wonderful time at their annual feast of seven fishes dinner.
Great food. Nice size portions. Attentive service
Very consistent service and food quality. We came early so did not suffer the possible delays of the rush crowd. That can always be an issue with any establishment
Excellent food and great atmosphere. And, I like speaking to the owner and chef.
Food was cold. Entrees were unreliable. Cacio de pepe had overcooked pasta & not enough seasoning. However, the meatballs were excellent.
Great Italian on Stone Harbor
Excellent as usual very consistent
Marco and his team were AMAZING!! Tremendous hosts and the food fantastic. We were visiting from DC and we’ll be back!! Grazie Mille Spiaggetta!!
Kudos to Marco and his family for keeping the restaurant open despite difficult staffing issues. Food was good as usual, Once we were seated service was good. Bread, water came promptly and wine was opened. Special white bean soup was good but could have been warmer. The Burratta/Beet appetizer was tasty although it was ice cold. Lobster ravioli specials was deilcious. Pasta carbonrera was great. Pleasant evening. Nice to be in Stone Harbor where they are not tearing down restaurants to build houses or having long term restaurants close.
As usual everything was excellent
I very much enjoyed the carbonara, the branzino, and the chocolate cake. So fresh, so tasty.
Have eaten here many times. Always have a great meal.
Delicious Italian food. My veal saltimbocca was excellent as was my wife’s shrimp. Portions are generous. The apps were also great.
We were a group of 9 high school friends who come together once each year. Not easy serving 9 off season on a busy Saturday night, but Spiaggetta didn't miss a beat. We each enjoyed our food, our server, Steve, was just fabulous, and even tolerated our request for a group photo with good humor. I am so happy that Spiaggetta remains open on weekends -- they got me through last spring when I was here renovating my kitchen -- and their food is always delicious, plentiful and interesting. One of my Stone Harbor favorites.
A wonderfully, authentic Italian restaurant. Personable wait staff an chef. Fresh pasta done to perfection. BYOB, We highly recommend!
Loved the atmosphere! Our waiter Mike was very accommodating to our needs. He also made our 40th Anniversary special by serving desert with a candle. The food was excellent and hopes next time we will meet Nonna the cook that makes the homemade pasta! It brought back memories of my beloved Mom making her own pasta and homemade bread from our native home in Southern Italy of Calabria, Santo Stefano, d’Rogliano, Providence of Cosenza.
A wonderful experience as always. Great service.
The food was very good & the service was very good too!! Definitely will go back!!
Wonderful table by the window. Food was great.
Very delicious and excellent service
I prefer BYOB restaurants, which is what we have here, coupled with great, hot, tasteful food, with excellent service! A definite “go to” restaurant when in Stone Harbor. We’ve never been disappointed!
We had a wonderful time and delicious meal at Spiaggetta! Most everything on the menu was available and everyone enjoyed their dinner. There were very few people in the restaurant due to it being past the end of the summer season and still Covid times as well as a Tuesday night. We were very happy that this local gem was open at the time we wanted. Our server Michael was fantastic. He helped make the meal enjoyable!
Great family restaurant. Food is great.
Try the meatballs!
Don’t get to go often enough, but was happy to be back. Split the caprese salad that was so large the three of us each got a healthy portion to share. We also shared the eggplant appetizer- with ricotta. Another generous portion. For dinner my bride chose the porketta special - an enormous piece of stuffed pork - that was served with a side of au jus. Mom and I went with the always sensational homemade pasta - the caci d’pepe - black pepper & Locatelli cheese for me, the Bolognese for her. Both were decadent. It was great to be back and menu and staff still sparkle.
Outdoor seating was great! The food was delicious!
We both had veal Parm and it was dry with very little sauce on top.
We had a delightful time having dinner at Spiaggetta! Marco , as always greeted us upon entering! Our dinner was delicious as always and we weren’t rushed to finish our meal! Our food was delicious and our attendant was fabulous!
Our vacation to a favorite location always includes a trip to this favorite. We were catered to by the owner, the chef and of course our server. That’s not because we are special guests but because they value every customer. We highly recommend!
Great meal! Everything is greasy and delicious. The Suppli is something I look forward to since it’s not on many menus. Veal parmigiana was crispy and the marinara very good!
First time at Spiaggetta.
The bolognese was the best we've ever had.
Pork, veal, and beef ragu marinated and cooked to perfection.
Great experience, outstanding waiter, and welcoming staff.
Look forward to returning.
Delicious apps and dinners! And the service was truly wonderful!! We will be back on our next visit to the area!!
Fantastic pasta with oil, black pepper and pecorino cheese. 2 other meals were excellent. Always enjoyable.
I had the amatrriciana with bucatini; just like they serve it in Rome. Loved it!!! I think you should ask what kind of macaroni you want instead of serving it with rigatoni. Not a rigatoni fan. Bucatini is my favorite.
