   I ate at Spencer's a year ago and it was very good. I was not impressed on my latest visit. I ordered a 16 oz NY Strip which was $80 ala carte. Way too high but it was advertised as "prime" (it may have been, I don't know). When the steak arrived, it was a ribeye, but I was trying to decide between that and the strip so I didn't mention it. The steak was very good but about half of it was fat and gristle so it was really about $160/lb of edible meat. The service was excellent and the food, what I could eat, was very good, but at those prices, I don't think I will go back.

   Extremely slow service, like the slowest I've ever had in my life, took twenty minutes to get a glass of water and we had to literally hunt the waitress down and go up to the kiosk to get her to ring us out. The food was very meh. Nothing special and the awful service made it even worse. Not the kind of service I'd expect for a $100+ dinner, felt more like a Dennys. Then to add insult to injury, the waitress gave us a ticket that said she validated our parking. We go to leave and she did not, and the only way to escape the parking garage was to pay the 27 dollars for less than 2 hours there. Overall awful experience

   We had a party of 20 physicians for a Medical Faculty Dinner in a private room. The server, Karen, did a marvelous job of getting everyone's drinks and food orders taken and served in a timely manner. She was great. The report from the majority of the attendees is that the food was excellent. This is a very nice place to have a similar type of private dinner and I would recommend it. Dr. Dock

   We stayed at the Hilton the night before our flight and enjoyed a great meal at Spencer’s. Nothing too fancy, but perfect for the situation and our family of 4!

    I know it’s a hotel restaurant, but the prices reflect a five star steakhouse. I have been to other Spencer’s in the past and this was nowhere near the experience I have had. Average everything across the board, except the price, which was extreme.

    My reservation was for 5:15 and we arrived early. I ordered the prime rib. I asked for rare which is why I made early reservations. My prime rib was medium at best and definitely not worth what I paid for it.

    Can’t say this is a destination restaurant, but a good choice if you’re needing a meal close to the airport. I had a very good onion soup. The wedge salad was a little underdressed for my taste. Hanger steak was a perfect medium rare, but the cut a bit chewy . Service was excellent. Overall, a solid meal

    We had their special Thanksgiving meal and it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered steamed clams off the main menu and was so tasty, we took the remainder of the broth home with us. In addition to the Thanksgiving meal, we ordered two additional sides: Beechers Mac and cheese and roasted Brussel sprouts. Both sides were mind blowing. The turkey was succulent. Service was fantastic. From the hostess/manager greeting us and leading us to our table, to our server who was very friendly without being intrusive. She certainly did us a huge favor when she recommended the apple crumble dessert we ordered. YUM is all I can say! We will be returning and are dedicated to trying the entire menu.

    I could only compare this Spencer’s to the restaurant on the other side of the state, and it did not come close. This place was like any other hotel restaurant. There is no way that they had the same kitchen as any other higher end steakhouse . However they charged the same price. Save your money and walk down the block to Dennys.

    Never again! Took my wife for our 47th anniversary. The supplied information on their website is a lie, the signs they've posted outside are a lie. My wife has to use a cane to walk so their valet parking was great, except, there is no valet parking and hasn't been for years! And the parking garage is a long way away. The only disabled parking is clearly marked "15 minutes only". The food and service are great but pricey, the atmosphere is upscale Denny's as it is part of the lobby bar area for the Hilton.

    It has been years since I have been to Spencer's. I used to eat here a lot before I moved to Seattle. When I was here on business, I would stay at the Hilton and eat in the restaurant. If I was flying through, I frequently would try to have a long enough layover to run across the street from SeaTac to have dinner. I now live in downtown Seattle so I don't come here very often. And that is unfortunate as it is still one of the best steakhouses in the country. The food is ALWAYS outstanding. The service is good, the wine list is okay, not on par with the quality level of the food but you can always find a very good wine on the list. If you are staying in this area or have time to come over from the airport, do it! You will not be disappointed. I never have been.

    We often stay at the Hilton when traveling through Seattle. Part of the reason is this restaurant. It is convenient and consistently good. Not inexpensive though. Servers are personable and responsive. Food doesn’t disappoint.

    My husband had the onion soup and then the Rosemary-Garlic Roasted Lamb Chops. He received a surprising amount of food--a mini rack of lamb, large portion of risotto, and lots of broccolini--and all of it was excellent. I ordered the beet salad and a 5-oz filet mignon. The salad was wonderful. The filet was the smallest portion of meat I have ever seen at a restaurant (literally 2.5 inches in diameter--maybe 5 small bites), and while excellently cooked and very tasty, was not much of a meal for $56. No sides were included with it, and I didn't order any, thinking I would be fine with that and the salad. Not true. Luckily, since my husband received so much food, he shared his with me. We each had dessert. He enjoyed his red velvet cake with ice cream. I was unimpressed by the tiramisu I ordered. It was dry and bland. The restaurant was fairly empty--it is a huge place--which wasn't bad, considering the COVID situation. The waitstaff was very attentive and helpful. It was our anniversary, and so I wanted to go to a steak house for a special dinner. I knew it would be an expensive dinner, but I didn't realize how little food I would actually be given for that amount of money.

    The most over priced, worst atmosphere for the $$ I’ve experienced in a long time. Restaurant in the lobby of a busy hotel, very very loud room. Food portions small and steaks had to be send back to achieve the correct temperature.
