Peter Kahl is a European trained chef and his skills are not limited to German cuisine. In-house we can accommodate groups of 2-200. Alwys a fun experience. Food is somewhat bland and more side option swaps should be available for the price of entrees. Servers and staff friendly and good.

Our server was Uriel; he took care of us wonderfully. The Reibekuchen and Fried Brussels Sprouts were outstanding as was the Leek and Mushroom Soup. The Salmon and Chicken Schnitzel were done perfectly. For dessert we had Strudel and Cheese Cake.

Five of us went to dinner and also caught some live music. The food was delicious, albeit on the pricey side - an order of fries for $14?! I’m thankful the portions are sizeable as I’ll be getting almost a 2nd meal out of my order (chicken cordon bleu). Pricing aside, the waitstaff seemed distracted - it took a while for our order to be taken; the wait for the food was fine and it came out nice and hot. But no one asked how the food was, if we needed anything, etc. for the rest of the night. I suspect more drinks might have been ordered, perhaps a slice or two of pie, etc. Overall a nice time with good food. Just be prepared to flag someone down every time you need something.

Always worth the drive. Great German food, lots of German beers on tap, and very friendly staff. Really a great place to go when you feel like German food!
