   We had no food The wine is exceptional, the service, staff and amazing well informed, very hospitable, make you feel the the only and best guest.

   Outdoor tasting in Sept was gorgeous. Location is an experience getting there as you wind upwards on the roads that have fruit orchards abutting the road on either side. The view going up to the winery was breathtaking. Sitting outside on the patio within the vineyard @ SpearHead was tranquil. My server said that they will be continuing service into the Fall/Winter inside within a larger space (I understood this will be the first time doing this). The wine selections to taste were high quality and amazing value.

   We went for a wine tasting of their terrific Pinot noirs. Lovely outdoor tasting area and very welcoming staff.

   Our wine tasting was the worst I have ever experienced. Our server was unattentive, seemed to be very un interested in the experience, gave only the minimal background/story behind the wine. took easily 15 minutes between our first and second samples we had to ask for a bucket and water..... I like Spearhead. I have been to numerous events there. I realize this was a one off experience but it was hard to see the smiling faces of the hustling bustling other servers and listen to the chatter about the wines and the laughter from the other tables. WE did not leave a tip

   We did not have food — just a wine tasting, which was the best experience we’ve had at a winery. We have visited many wineries. This was special because of the wines themselves and our sommelier who was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. The setting was also beautiful. We were given a lot of time to enjoy the outdoor venue and talk about the wines. There was no hard sell during or after. Would highly recommend!
