First time visiting this place and it did not disappoint. Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday (she had also been eyeballing the restaurant for a while) and we both enjoyed everything starting with the ambiance, drinks, food and service. Our favorites dishes were the Bone Marrow stuffed pasta and Burrata Beet salad. We will definitely be coming back again.

The hostess took forever to find our reservation and assign our table. Then, our waitress forgot to place our entree order and didn’t even stopped at our table in more than 15 min to see if we needed anything. We asked for help to a server and she said she didn’t have access to our table so she couldn’t even communicate with the waiter 😂 when they brought our bill they charged us for something we didn’t consume. Server was incredibly rude and disrespectful, she wouldn’t even talk to us. Pizza was delicious. Best truffle pizza ever

This place could be better if the service, and the ambiance could be refined. There is such lack of attentiveness and awareness from the waiter. Our appetizer came before our drinks and we had to hunt our waiter down to check on our drink orders. We weren’t attended to upon seating and waited at least 15 mins before the waiter came to ask for our order. This is my second time here and I realize that it’s just not a good restaurant. The ambiance is nice in terms of the decor, but I don’t understand why there has to be club music in the background while you are eating. The decor doesn’t match the music and it ruins the vibe. The drinks were just okay, they are too sweet for my liking. The food was also just okay. I have had better Italian food that tasted more authentic. The second time around the service didn’t improve. This didn’t change my mind to want to return in the future.

Such a beautiful ambience that immediately transports you from the heart of buzzing downtown, to a luxurious vacation! Love the outside seating facing the pool. The cocktails are truly top of the line in terms of PRESENTATION and the flavors of the food are delectable!

We loved everrrything about Sparrow. The ambiance was lovely, the restaurant is beautiful, the food was amazing, and the cocktails were perfect. I was so happy I chose this place for my birthday dinner. Most places acknowledge that it’s your birthday but they didn’t, no big deal, but it’s always a nice touch and adds to the experience. We’d definitely visit again.

Stopped by here before attending a concert at Crypto and it did not disappoint. Tried at least 5 of their signature drinks, all amazing. The service was incredible. Seriously we had two waiters for whatever reason and they were just awesome. The rigatoni and the wagyu pizza were 10/10.

The Experience was terrible from the beginning. Lots of managers standing around & no hosts at the front to greet anyone while a long line of people we waiting to be seated. I received mixed messages from 2 different hosts. So I sat at the bar & waited for 30 minutes until they realized & then came to give me a table. Our server was nice but not the smartest. I ordered a pasta, a bone marrow dish & a bread for the table. When the food arrived they had sent out a pizza & I told the server we didn’t order this but if it was a mistake we would keep it just make sure to discount it. At the end of the meal he brought us a bill that was not correct so he went to get it adjusted & then wouldn’t show us the total bill & tried charging us for the pizza & an extra drink. I asked for the itemized bill but he refused. He insisted in arguing with me saying I ordered a drink I never received & I ordered the pizza I never order. Even the manager came to the table & verified the pizza was for another table but they made a mistake by bringing it to our table. I was becoming exhausted in arguing with this server so the manager tried helping. We tipped the server $20 total & trust me he’s lucky he got that. Such a terrible restaurant.

Wait staff is very good and checks on table. Recommendations on food choices was spot on. Great atmosphere but pricey drinks that are not strong - bar needs to be better with the pour. Pricey overall but this is DTLA.

I visited there for dinner with my wife. Their dishes and atmosphere was great and service was as well. We both don’t big eater but 3 dishes were enough for us. If we have a chance to visit LA I wanna go there again!

Sparrow is an experience with great ambiance, music, food and service. For a downtown location it’s an added bonus that it has valet and public parking lots right next to the venue. Great times!

It’s my second time here they change there Manu if I’m not mistaken but food was delicious but service wise was too slow. Overall its nice place to go and have some drinks or food.

Me and my girlfriend came here for her birthday and i mentioned it on the app BUT i believe we had to tell the host or server because they didn’t seemed informed and the couple next to us had there anniversary there and got free cocktails cuz of it lolol so that was like damn she got robbed of her experience. Other then that! Everything was phenomenal, would definitely come back here again and again!!!

The food tasted great but very small portions (we got pastas). The pesto pasta was ~$28 and it was literally 4 fork swirls. The food also took ~40mins to come after ordering. So we were STARVING and then the portions were small. The flavor profiles were on point though. The drinks were well balanced and beautifully executed. Service was excellent and he checked in at good intervals. The ambiance always perfect. I would def return but eat a snack beforehahnd!

When it comes to the 230pm reservation be careful because you are only allowed to stay for 45 mins because the restaurant closes at 3pm. Our serve Frank was amazing and patient, he never rushed us but the staff made it apparent we were on a time limit. We truly couldn’t enjoy the ambiance because of the time limit, but the food was amazing.

Wonderful experience as usual. The service is great and the food is even better. My go to is the Wagyu Alla Vodka Pizza and the Bolognese. Drinks are also delicious. if you like a sweet and fruity, try the Basilicata.
