Wow — we LOVE Sparrow & Wolf! It’s simply fantastic in every way! Great service, amazing food…just an awesome experience!
Special thanks to Alyssa — she made a fantastic wine recommendation and is so engaging!
This was my first time dining in this restaurant. I had the tasting menu and every course was amazing. Great staff! I look forward to dining here again.
Amazing restaurant! So glad we chose to eat here on our way back to Utah. The chef is a real artist! The food was amazing and you could tell a lot of passion went into the menu. The staff was also incredible! You could tell the culture was really strong and the employees were really happy to be part of a special team. The banana split dessert with home made peanut butter ice cream was a great way to finish too. Overall a wonderful date night!
Not what I expected as far as servings go. It's not a place for a large group because of the way their menu is structured, you either all have to order the tasting menu or nobody gets the tasting menu (which I was looking forward to). The food doesn't come out at the same time and the portions are small. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but after wanting to come here for so long, my experience left me a little disappointed. Think of this place more as a tapas place and you wont be disappointed like I was. I felt bad for my fellow diners that night, I think they were disappointed as well.
The food was amazing and inventive and the drinks delicious. For three hungry people it was pricey to feed… with 4 drinks.. 315$ i would definitely go again!
As always Consistent great food choices!!! Great menu. Always has something different to try. Today I had the Oxtail Ravioli with Mushrooms. Great tasting, great value, what more can I say. Chef Brian Howard, GM John Anthony and their team are consistent with delivery of great menu items. And Daniel and David on the Cocktail side of the house have some outstanding cocktails along side of Alyssa. Alway s leave happy and satisfied when we visit this establishment. Look forward to what Chef Brian has cooking under the new "Half Chicken" that will be opening this fall. Can't wait!!!
We went to try the vegan tasting menu and it was spectacular! Exploring meatless food choices can be a challenge and most high-end restaurants have not given it a lot of thought. Sparrow & Wolf is a big exception. Very well composed and beautifully presented dishes led to an 8 course meal that tingled every taste bud. The chief is a known master of culinary sensations but to create such an inspired and hopefully inspiring experience shows you that the way of vegan cooking is just starting to become a whole new world. Oh..and the home made vegan ice cream? Incredible! Thank so much!
The food was excellent! Well prepared and the ingredients were thoughtfully combined. Louis our server was amazing! I would definitely return!
The $135 ribeye was mostly fat but everything else was exceptional.
It was a new menu Lat ight. Every dish was more delightful than the previous
Anthony was so AWESOME at explaining everything. I have NEVER had such an experience where my server was so detailed in explaining everything with such great enthusiasm. We had some dietary restrictions but Anthony never made us feel that it was an inconvenience. Such a great experience at the place! The food was indubitably delicious! The flavors were all present and really ‘dances’ in your palette.
A very good food and excellent service
Drinks, service, and food excellent. Really cool atmosphere.
Best in Las Vegas. Chef has a creative menu with only the best product. Staff is outstanding. Husband had pork ribs and I had Hamachi. Both were to die for!
Had a wonderful time. The waiter was tremendous and even got a visit from the owner. If you are a foodie and love amazing food here is the place. Don’t let the first appearance fool you.
This one is a winner. Great spot, solid food. Ambience and vibe are great, drinks were delicious. Will definitely be back again.
Wow!!!! That’s all I can say. Everything was spectacular. The only thing I didn’t live was the octopus roll. It was interesting and the sauce was flavorful but the octopus was just so-so. The foie gras terrine was divine, the lamb loin, perfectly cooked, the gnocchi with lobster was something so special, I can’t even put it into words. The brussel sprouts and romesco was good, just needed a little more salt and sauce. The Japanese sweet potato, was very unique and creamy and just delicious. The oxtail ravioli was also very delicious. We also ordered the escargot in green curry sauce with lemon grass. I normally never order anything curried because i dont like the flavors, but this was a light curry and citrus really made it mellow and delicious. The hamachi was refreshing and fresh and really delicious. I was hoping to try the beef cheek dumplings because that is what I was seeing on all the pictures, but they were sadly not on the menu. This place is everything it’s hyped up to be.
Food and service was amazing coming from a real foodie
First, I have previously been to the restaurant with my wife and enjoyed the food while sitting at the bar. I thought the tasting menu would be a nice experience for my nephew's birthday. Our total bill including gratuity was $1100.
I booked a table for 4 at 8:30 but changed the reservation to 7:30 and added another person for a total party of 5. That went smoothly but later in the evening we were seated in the back room near the kitchen and the temperature was unbearably hot. Though the quality of the food was good and the service was fine the temperature of the room steadily increased.
I understand that we have been experiencing a heat wave lately and there is very little that can be done sometimes. I noticed a fan was placed to try and cool the room to little effect. It was so hot that my wife felt ill and was unable to complete all her courses though our server kindly comped us a dessert for her later.
In addition to the heat the dishes seemed to take a long time to serve. We arrived and began the meal at shortly after 7:30 but didn't leave until almost 10:30. I'm not sure if this is intended with the tasting menu but at times there was almost 45 minutes between a dish. This might not have been an issue if the temperature of the room was comfortable but it was so hot that the air outside was actually more cooling.
Unfortunately, as much as I would like, I am unable to give any positive referrals due to our experience.
My suggestion is to at least close half of the back room as that is a variable that can be controlled. Additionally, if the delay between the dishes was caused by an exceptionally busy night then having a few less tables would also rectify that issue. It may be beneficial to always ensure that all guests have an exceptional experience rather than just filling the house.
LOVED our dinner here last night. Felicia was our server and she was a STAR. She was VERY knowledgeable about the menu, personable, energetic, and made our dining experience stellar. I had the lamb, buddy had the porterhouse, his lady friend had the ribs. All in all? UnbeLIEVably fantastic meal. I look forward to coming back for the porterhouse m'self, probably on my birthday. The gentleman who served our sake was SO entertaining and hospitable, knew so much about his craft--it really enhanced the experience.
Augh. All in all, this is one of my new favorite places to eat in Vegas. When visitors want outstanding cocktails, brilliant food options, and an insanely hospitable atmosphere, I know where we're headed. Thank you, Sparrow & Wolf, for a great evening!
Excellent, innovative meal. However, might consider re-working the sundae with peanut butter ice cream — it was quite salty. Peanut taste was good, but the balance of sweet and salty seemed off. that being said, really enjoyed the mean and will be back.
It was my first time at Sparrow & Wolf, b definitely won’t be my last...dinner was delicious and the 32oz bone-in Porterhouse didn’t disappoint! One or the best steaks I’ve had in years!
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. 110% recommend!! Thank you for showing your passion for food with an all around amazing environment.
Greatly enjoyed the tasting menu, the pacing, and especially the time our server, Anthony, took to speak with us, explain the food, and understand how we were enjoying it.
Best gnocchi I’ve ever had l, best steak ever, best lamb ever. Just amazing. Our server Hae was also amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
Amazing food! We sat at the bar and he was pretty busy so service was a little slower but drinks were delicious!
Staffs are professional and friendly. Great food and great service.
As always, a great meal with amazing food. Lots of specialty items.
Excellent, as expected
Wait staff was rather friendly but overall lacking. Took 5-10 minutes before we ordered and then waited another 20 min before our cocktails showed up. These also showed up with our first course and wine pairing. The rest of the courses were long between and our pairings almost never arrived with the food.
Dishes designed to utilize all ingredients to create a “perfect bite” each time. We’ve eaten at many nice restaurants in Las Vegas, this is the first time a server has said “I think you may be ordering too much food.” We appreciated that. We did take off a side but we ended up adding a dessert because we just couldn’t resist! We appreciate the forward thinking of what this restaurant represents and enjoyed seeing smiling faces.
Loved it, our waiter was so friendly and ultra helpful! Such a cool location and ambience.
Food was creative and delicious. Wait staff was kind but inefficient. Our food was poorly paced. Drinks and food took way too long. Cocktails were delicious and the names were clever. They have recently changed their seating set up and now sit 6 tables next to the kitchen resulting in an almost intolerable heat. Even with that, this place is a wonderful gem off the strip in Vegas and worth checking out.
This was our second time here and it was just as great as the first time. The staff was great! Nick our server is took great care of us and the food is absolutely delicious. You cannot go wrong with the menu. Everything is amazing!
The food is cooked to perfection and the drinks are exquisite. I would have liked a server who could explain the menu in a manner that didn't remind me of the rambling at the end of a commercial- it was so fast! Slow it down and give some true insight about the entre options. I would go back regardless because of the taste.
It was just ok. I was really looking forward to trying this place out as it was recommended and highly reviewed as a “do not miss” type of menu but I was wholly disappointed and dissatisfied with the overall dining experience. I shared my personal thoughts with the restaurant management directly but the short of it was that the lack of service was very detrimental to the entire experience and was not up to par to justify the higher tier price points of the courses. However, food and drinks were quite good and had interesting flavor profiles. A good place for adventurous diners, hopefully on a better night with a great server.
Excellent food & curated cocktails! Will return with friends when we’re back in town!
Sparrow and wolf was recommended from another app and they did not disappoint in the least. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Awesome job to the sparrow and wolf team. The lobster gnocchi was to die for and I will be back just for that they were like little pillows of heaven. The oxtail ravioli with Maitake mushrooms was rich and delicate at the same time. The porterhouse steak which was the special of the night served “Korean family” style was melt in your mouth good. The chef/owner visited our table and spoke with us and enhanced the overall experience. I believe the team got wind of our dinner plans via the app that recommended them and I appreciate the wonderful treatment from the entire team. I do not give high praise easily and they most definitely deserve it. As this was a business dinner my wife did not get to go so I guess I’m going to have to take her in now to make up for it hehe
June 2021 review - S&W is still killing it - with great food and great staff... Vegas is back and so is dining out which means even on Tuesday night you will have lots of loud people ...so if you are looking for quiet this is not the place for you ... this is a happy crowd.... highly suggest ordering a smoked cocktail tableside ... you can see my other reviews on the food
