A neighborhood favorite for some but not me! Very warm staff and very casual...choices are limited although everyone can find something. Most choices are a la carte, sides extra, and portions are on small side. All home-made so that is plus. Very casual and relaxed dining. Happy hour wine and piazza. Ok for kids. Sunday brunch is casual.

It is a great relaxed atmosphere both inside and out. The food is delicious with unusual flavor combinations. Staff is friendly and very professional. It is a gem.

It seems to have changed hands and not for the better. The menu is different. The wines are expenive as is the pizzas , burgers,and entrees. For a neighborhood place, they have taken on an aura of fine dining but , of course, it is not fine dining at all. We liked it alot before the change. A half burnt pizza should not be $14.00 without meat.The waiter should not have served a burnt pizza at all. We did not send it back because we waited a long time to eat.

Service great but wood oven pizza, their specialty, had burnt crust with no apology. Others had a tasty strip steak cooked as requested. A shrimp dish, however, was bland though described as garlicky . We felt portions were way too small for the price.

We found this gem on OpenTable and are so glad we tried it! We had an early dinner so had no trouble getting a table. The Sample of Three (dips) with warm pita bread was an excellent taste sensation and a great way to start our dinner. And even though we had dip leftover, we did manage to finish all of the pita. We also tried the Mushroom Pizza with avocado - yum! We can't wait to go back and try something else!

I'm sorry that the buffet brunch was the only option when we went last Sunday. It was just so so. I have been there for lunch and enjoyed that very much.

I live in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood and Sparks is a jewel. Happy to see they have expanded the indoor seating to accommodate more guests, especially during cold weather. Food and service both very good. Can't wait 'til next time!
