Spagio has always been a favorite place, so this experience was out of the ordinary. First off, the service, from the front desk to the waitstaff, is great - no complaints there. We had quite a long wait from seating to ordering drinks, but they were busy, so, there's that. Then, three of us that had soup never got it, the entree came out, and I had to ask about the soup, which was brought a few minutes after. Then, two of us ordered the gorgonzola pasta with chicken. It was so salty, I couldn't eat it - and for me to not eat pasta and cheese - it has to be inedible. : ) I would have thought it was just me, but the other diner said the same, plus the two others who tasted it reached for water immediately, so I think my critique is valid. The desserts (which were complimentary) were wonderful. So, I'm putting this down as an off-night, and it won't keep me from going back. Just keep the top on that salt shaker, chef!!

I indicated on my reservation form that we were celebrating a birthday, but there wasn't even a nod from the server about my daughter's birthday. Food was solid, nothing special. Decor is interesting (in a good way). I was annoyed that the server didn't replace my knife after clearing it away with my salad starter. Instead, I used the knife of a dining companion who ordered ravioli and didn't need her knife.

On a quiet Thursday night during prime hours, we were seated at 7PM, our service was so slow that we asked for the bill before the main course arrived. After sitting there about 1 1/2 hours, waiting about 30 minutes for the appetizer and another 30 minutes for the salad, we had run out of patience waiting for our main course. We very politely told the waiter we wanted our check, after which we got immediate attention - an unhappy manager. The indignant manager blamed the waiter, after we politely said we liked the waiter. We used to love this restaurant. We won't return, now understanding why it was so empty.

Parking was difficult and a long walk. Thought we saw parking behind restaurant but no signs how to get there. Friendly staff and Food terribly awesome tasty well prepared and excellent presentation.

A lackluster Valentines Day.
Our evening began with no table ready at the time of our reservation. Once finally seated, our server greeted us with “good evening ladies” ... while my boyfriend has a man bun he is definitely not a lady 🤣 She made no attempt to recover from this and her attitude was cold the rest of the evening. Our experience only went downhill from there. Our food took forever, and I had to ask for bread as I watched other tables who sat down way after us enjoy bread & appetizers. It took about 15 minutes for a water/drink refills, and then our dinner came out cold. My boyfriend never got his 2nd beer. The flower at the end of the evening was a nice touch, but unfortunately not enough to make us ever want to come back. After being together for 10 years we can laugh about stuff like this, but this would have been a pretty bad 1st Valentine’s Day date.

We came to Spagio for Valentine's Day dinner. They did not disappoint. We will definitely be back. The food and service was excellent and the overall charm of the restaurant was captivating.

The food and atmosphere were very nice. The only draw back was the service was very slow. We waited over 10 minutes to have a server come to our table and this was at 5:30pm so not the busiest of times. I would go back just not when we are in a hurry.

I have been to Spagio many times before and have always enjoyed excellent food and service. And, ironically, my friends and I talked at our table when we arrived that evening about how consistently good Spagio is. And then, It all went south. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, but service was very slow. It took quite a long time to get a bottle of wine we ordered. When we got our entrees, they were cold. To their credit, the staff did exchange our cold meals for hot ones. And that was much appreciated. However, even the new hot dishes did not meet usual Spagio standards. All in all, it was very disappointing.

I have been in love with Spagio as long as I've live in Columbus. I just feel good when I'm there. The food is awesome, the wine is fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect.

It was Restaurant Week and the crowd was much bigger than normal so everything from our reservation to getting the food was slow. But, that's not normal. We will be back as this is one of our favorites with a great staff and great good.

We were an easy going group of 3 couples, we had no special requests. We dine together approximately 6 or more times a year, often with a 4th couple. We rarely miss a Restaurant Week dining experience. We all consume cocktails and wine with our meal. We are above average when it comes to tipping the wait staff.
Our server was most unfriendly. There was never a smile, there was no conversation. Once our orders were placed we watched as 4 of the tables in our area were served before us. When our food arrived it was warm but definitely not hot. No one in the group complained while we were in the restaurant but my husband and the friends we drove with all had the same experience.
It was clear that the server treated the tables on either side us differently, there was conversation and timely service for the other groups.
The food was very good but the experience was poor.

Went for restaurant week to try it and will be back. Food was excellent, service was spot on and we sat there for hours catching up with friends - enjoying our evening - with no pressure to turn over our table. Great value.

I attended Spagio for a friend's birthday during Restaurant Week on a Wednesday night. From the start, we felt like the staff was annoyed by our presence. Our waiter was overly soft-spoken, to the point where we did not know what he was saying at times. He was not very friendly, and our seating took 2.5 hours, even though our entire party ordered quickly. The food was good, but definitely not worth the price and experience we had.

We had dinner at Spagio during "Restaurant Week". We both did the Prix Fixe meals. The Shrimp Scampi was delicious. The Norwegian Salmon had a great presentation and tasted very good. As well, the Hungarian Goulash was very good. The homemade spaetzle in the goulash was over-the-top. Our desserts were just the right portion after indulging in these delicious meals. We will back to visit very soon.

Food was excellent. We did not select the restaurant because of "Restaurant Week" - it was an accident that we were there for that. I was disappointed that there was not a pasta choice in the RW menu.

This was my first time being to Spagio and I was slightly disappointed. We went for the restaurant week and chose the pre-made menu. After getting our appetizer portion, we had to wait close to 30 minutes to receive our main course. During this time, at least two tables of individuals came, received their orders, and left before we even got our food. Our waitress and a man who appeared to be a manager both apologized, but we were not offered any explanation as to why our food was taking so long. I was especially disappointed since none of the items we chose were made to order (as they were on the restaurant week menu), and therefore should not have taken that long to prepare. In the end, our bill was quite expensive and we the restaurant did not offer any compensation for our long wait. Overall, I feel that the food was not bad, and a good deal for restaurant week, but the long wait for our meal tainted my view of this restaurant.

Lovely place, been before. Did have an Incidwnt that sent me to the Emergency Room. I have a heart condition called Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrulation aka AFIB.

For that renasin I avoid caffeine and alcohol. That night I asked for decaf coffee but clearly got regular. Bottom line, ended in ED for a cardiooversion. All ended well. Expensive meal.
