Spaghettini Grill and Jazz Club Ratings and Reviews
Atmosphere and ambience very pleasant; location excellent. Service, however, was below par, and food was nothing to write home about. Waiter brought maple syrup,in lieu of honey which had been requested. We’re certainly not naive enough to believe he didn’t know the difference; just thought he could pull a fast one. Waitress corrected this deception, however. Overall, a relatively enjoyable dining experience, in spite of the gaffes.
I have dined at Spaghettini's many times for both for business and special occasions. The ambiance is very pleasing and the background noise level allows for comfortable table conversation. The food is consistently excellent as is the service. The menu is sufficiently varied to satisfy most any patron.
Had reservations for new years dinner at 8. When we got there and were asked if we would like to be in the side area by the bar. I said ok. Thought it would be nice to hear the band. I did not know however what that meant.
1. Hard uncomfortable chairs. Ok it is a patio..
2. No heat. Had to ask for the heat to be turned on cold air coming in. It got warm about when we got our meal. Meanwhile we kept our coats on, noticed a few others bundled up. Probably just to hear the band. Band was excellent.
3. Took awhile to get our order in for drinks and to actually get them, about 15 min. I know, busy bar night. Bar server was also waitress, quite a-lot for one person.
4. About 20 min after seated we got our order in for soup, dinner, surf and turf special and sea bass.
5. Wife asked where is the bread, no bread what is up. flagged down a busboy and got some bread. Just before we got our meal our bread plates, and knives where quickly removed before we where done with the bread. Had to grab some silverware and plates from the adjoining empty table for our bread.
6. Meal came reasonably quick and was good as usual. Sea bass just right and my wife loved the surf and turf.
7. Since we dine here quite often we were used to the excellent attentive service inside the restaurant. We sat outside the french doors of the restaurant area, we were dismayed by the well served and nicely appointed tables inside. Kind of like the poor riffraff that could not afford to step in the door of the exclusive first class lounge.
8. Please up the standard of service and ambiance to the patio. I would think this should be in par with the service inside. It was like it was an entirely different restaurant.
THE OTHER THREE DINERS LIKED THEIR DINNER. I ORDERED SPAGETTI AND MEATBALLS AND ASKED FOR ANGEL HAIR. WAITER AGREED TO ASK. WHEN FOOD WAS DELIVERED IT WAS NOT ANGEL HAIR AND HE DID NOT MENTION THAT UNTIL I ASKED ABOUT IT. HE THEN SAID THAT THEY HAD RUN OUT. I THINK THAT HE NEVER ASKED FOR ANGEL HAIR AND THAT WAS SIMPLY AN "OUT." THE SOUP WAS OUTSTANDING! THE BREAD WAS OK. AMBIANCE GREAT. DEFINITELY NOT A VALUE MEAL. WE WOULD PROBABLY DINE WITH YOU AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. THIS WAS NOT OUR FIRST TIME.
I was disappointed in the service and the food. I ordered a wedge salad and received a piece of lettuce sliced in half. Definitely not a wedge salad. The raviol was tough and greasy to taste. Will not spend my money there again.
The PRIME BONE-IN RIB EYE STEAK special is way over priced '$50.00' for the quality of steak they served me "BURNED" and had to wait 45 minutes on top of getting in there half hour before our 6:45 pm reservation
I had reached out, talked and brought to one of Spaghettini's Manager and did not offer anything to compensate of what I got. My family & friends been going to Spaghettini for lunch, dinner, company / persona parties for decades and it is so sad that quality of food and service is so terrible/horrible and over priced!!!
I will no longer recommend Spaghettini at all!
I love Spaghetini. The atmosphere, food and live music for Sunday brunch is great. However, this past Sunday, 12/17/17, we went to have brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday and the service was very bad. Our Server Stephanie barely checked on us...our champagne glasses were empty and we needed things from the kitchen. It was very disturbing to see Stephanie talking to other workers while we were in need. Fortunately, the bus boy Juan was on top of things and took care of us. He made the difference and should be promoted to server because he was working Stephanie's whole section while she chatted. Stephanie's tip,10% reflected her service. We will return, but will definitely never sit in her section.
Very nice restaurant is very nice and in a good location. We came for lunch on a Saturday. Our server was very nice and really on top of things. He was extremely patient and helpful. The food was good, two of us ordered pasta with seafood and the seafood was a little over cooked, but not terrible. Our other friend ordered gluten free pasta with seafood, garlic, olive oil, garlic and crushed red peppers. Her's was delicious and cooked to perfection. I will definitely come back again.
We had 8 people in our party. It took a long time for the drinks to come. A person in our party ordered a soup that was not served with a spoon so we ended up walking up to the bar to get a spoon because we had been waiting so long. 3 of the dishes were served cold. And lastly the bread was awful. We were very disappointed. Not sure if we will ever return.
I love the horseradish crusted halibut but chose the rack of lamb. It wasn’t as good as I remembered not seasoned enough for me. Someone else had short ribs another had the pommeroy shrimp and the fourth person had the halibut. All were very satisfied
We missed Teresa our favorite but Courtney took good care of us
Tonight I came here with my husband to enjoy a place that I had wanted to try for years because I heard how great it was from the Jazz station I listen to.
When we arrived we were greeted and everything seemed to be going well, front staff was very pleasant. We went outside to wait to be seat (we got there before our reservation time). We were listening to the music, which I thought was supposed to be nice Jazz songs. But we had to listen to Bruno Mars techno version of "That's What I Like". Other various techno songs continued to play after that, we felt like we were in a club. Not classy at all for a restaurant that is supposed to be more upscale. Music played through the restaurant like that all night...
Service was very good. They were quick to remove empty plates and fill glasses before they were empty and so on, no complaints there, and the food was great!!
It was just the atmosphere and the weird music. It was also very hot in the place, couldn't feel any air. It was a disappointment for sure.
