Spaghettini Grill and Jazz Club Ratings and Reviews
We visited for lunch with friends on a Saturday, and found the service to be friendly, the staff attentive, and the food very good. It was a great spot for quiet conversation. I understand that at other times, there is a lively music scene, but for our purposes, Saturday afternoon was pretty perfect.
My wife and I went there to have Valentines dinner. Because we had made reservations, we waited for less than 5 minutes to be seated. Our server was very attentive, our dinner and dessert were delicious. Everything was priced right. I would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back.
We went for Valentine's Day. Let's start with outside. The parking valet's were extremely polite. I don't think I have very often had the valet tell me "happy holiday" and "enjoy your dinner". Seating was prompt and courteous. Courtney was our server, she did a fabulous job. Present but not hovering. Very nice. My husband ordered the braised short ribs. They were perfect. I had the lobster ravioli, it was lukewarm, but tasty. I would have sent it back but a little latitude was granted due to the holiday and it being so busy.
I want to note that usually we are disappointed with holiday dinners, mostly because being swamped means less service and lower quality food. We didn't feel that way here. That is a huge compliment!
I won't be getting a filet again. Second disappointment. Cooked to order, but not the flavor nor size of previous dinners. And the price was raised as were my sorry expectations. My companions fish dinner was much better. I'll go back with lower expectations.
Atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The service was exceptional and friendly.
The food was good but seemed overpriced. Suggest sticking to their house specialities of pasta dishes.
The fish was disappointing .
The wine list is varied . Would return but would take my own advice and go with chefs pasta dish.
We love the food here and have been several times. This time around we had the eggplant appetizer which was more like an entree, the corn chowder, the Duroc pork chop and the horseradish-crusted halibut. All were delicious. We did not stay for dessert for we were too full. If you are seeking a quiet table eat the farthest from the bar for the music is very loud.
The food is always excellent here. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. It was very busy even on Wednesday night but our server managed to give us very welcome attention. She made excellent suggestions and anticipated our needs very well.
What an excellent restaurant to frequent for a lovely Sunday Brunch and for a Birthday Celebration. The Brunch menu is plentiful and quite excellent! The music fantastic, the wait staff excellent! Will go again many many times! Kudos to our excellent wait person Diana for an excellent job!
I attended a 35th anniversary dinner for close friends who came to LA for the weekend, in the jazz room with Darryl Walker and Keith Andrew as the music for the evening, and the atmosphere was electric. The music, food and service was impeccable, which made the evening very special for this couple. I chose Spaghettini's because I knew they would deliver, and they did! The evening couldn't have been any more perfect!
Very professional; reservation seating exactly on time; lovely diningroom; outstanding service from Cat! Very good food-excellent presentation; made my wife's birthday feel very special! Outstanding evening over all; we have already recommended Spaghetini to friends and will be back soon! Thank you to everyone who made our evening so memorable!
Our reservation was for a birthday. Let them know up front and they will make it very special. We were given a little cake with ice cream and a candle. The best part is they take a picture of you and provide a free copy and folder with their logo to commemorate you time. Tip when ordering, ask for their special for the day. It's $30 for a salad, entree and dessert. The salad and desert are predetermined. Overall a wonderful experience.
I brought a date here and we tried the bruschetta and calamari for appetizers, Chilean Sea Bass & Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, and the Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delectable. The entire staff was attentive and courteous. The wine list was extensive with an endless variety of flavors. We watched a live performance which was phenomenal due to the amazing acoustics in the Entertainment lounge. Highly recommended for everyone!
The dining area was incredibly busy and loud. And service was very slow. The food was average. The halibut was simply grilled snd plain, it was supposed to have a citrus butter. Vegetable accompaniments were simply sautéed or roasted with nothing on them, little or no seasoning. We were celebrating a birthday and they did make dessert (we were sharing a desert) complimentary.
They do have a fairly substantial gluten free menu including house-made pasta and flat bread.
Great for business meetings and celebrations.
The food is always good and the drinks are a plenty. It is nice to see a full pour for the wine.
We celebrated my birthday complete with cake and candle and a photo, which was very special for friends who only see each other twice a year. We shall return.
