First time here since moving to the area and was planning a dinner with friends after an Orpheum show. Everyone was so kind and gracious. Our waiter Isaac was the bomb! Wow! He was the best waiter I have ever had. The fried pimento cheese with pepper jelly was scrumptious! Lemon drop martini was perfect, and the shrimp and grits was flavorful - loved the sauce! Topping it off with crème brûlée that was yummy! I will definitely be back again!

When I made the reservation, I noted that it was for my mom’s birthday. From the time we arrived until we left the service was impeccable. The staff was so sweet to tell her happy birthday multiple times. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!

We loved our experience here! We celebrated our Anniversary with friends & they even put a special menu together for us saying “Happy Anniversary “ at the top. Our server Marcus was terrific. Love the menu, food was wonderful. Would go back!

Best part was the service. Zach was great. As well as the support staff. Food was brought out on time. Had the deviled eggs/oysters for app. Delicious. Entree’s were the shrimp/grits & quail. Both good. Quail stuffing wasn’t my favorite. It still fun to try. The desert, bread pudding, was outstanding. Will come back.

Southern Social is my husband and I's go-to place for our anniversary for the last nine years. We enjoy the food with its southern flair and the service is always on point. I always make a reservation because the restaurant fills up fast!! Brian was awesome and took care of us from beginning to end. My husband has the salmon and I had Aunt Marthas fried chicken with all the fixins. We also had the fried pimento cheese sandwiches for our appetizer. It ALWAYS is a treat for my palette when i come here. No dessert this time however they gave us 2 chocolate covered strawberries with 2 glasses of champagne to start our meal. It was a great experience!

Every aspect of our dining experience was outstanding. Knowing that someone in our group was celebrating her birthday, they added special touches to make her feel celebrated. Food was pretty good. Enjoyed appetizers much more than the entrees. Service is outstanding! A little cramped space wise but not to the point of being uncomfortable. They have an abundance of staff on site which you don’t see very often these days. Refreshing.

The food was disappointing. Steak wasn’t seasoned at all, but solid cut of meat and undercooked. Pork chop had best flavor but it was super dry being cooked too long. Fried chicken was super bland and seems to be a different recipe from when they first opened. The pork belly app had no flavor either. Best things on the menu were cocktails and gumbo. Next thing you know we get the bill and it was super pricey for the mid we got, price didn’t match quality at all.

We were celebrating November birthdays for a group of girlfriends, the staff was more than accommodating & brought out champagne, strawberries, and a birthday dessert. Always a great time dining here + the staff goes above and beyond. Cannot recommend dining here enough!

Words can not express the experience my husband and I had there! It’s the best service that we’ve ever had before! The staff, they ambience, the food, thee vibe was just impeccable! It was our first time and our anniversary and we throughly enjoyed everything! My husband is very picky and if had nothing but good things to say then I know it was great! Ben was our waiter and he was very attentive, funny and took great care of us!

We are visiting family in Germantown and come to this restaurant whenever we are in town. It was excellent as usual. Our waiter, Marcus, was very helpful and he was just outstanding. We will visit again on our next trip to Germantown.

It was no wait time to be seated. The staff was very friendly and polite. The food was good. The wine was ok however I didn't like the fact that it was room temperature I like my wine chill .

Issac was a wonderful server and very attentive when needed, but not bothering at all. The food was amazing! We sat on patio because of last minute reservations, so the ambiance wasn’t quite as nice at it would have been inside. Everyone involved in the restaurant was kind and professional- wonderful date night!!

Service was extremely good. Servers were very friendly. We never had to wait on anything and our glasses were always full. The appetizers were unique and quite good. The best entree was the redfish, crab, and grits. Wines were reasonably priced. We would definitely return.
