Awesome place, food was fantastic, had great service and had a lot of true southern character.
We stumbled on this place a couple weeks ago and have decided it is our go to place. Service, food and atmosphere is the greatest.
My husband and I loved this restaurant. It was our first and definitely not our last visit! It’s rare when a restaurant pleasantly surprises me. The food was creative and delicious. Our server Anthony was outstanding. Highly recommend SPGC Kitchen.

3. Food was great. Loved the Parmesan baked oysters, the house salad with their dressing, fried oysters were fresh and flavorful and the most surprising menu item was the catfish nuggets. OMG - they melted in your mouth. Sooo good.

I have absolutely no complaints the portions were so Dillon that my husband and I said we could’ve only a couple of things and split them and still have been completely full and satisfied.
This restaurant is A-1 and I can’t wait to go back again.

Visiting with the grandkids and wanted a great place to go. Food was excellent and the server was even better. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to make sure our trip ended on a positive note.

A friend and I visited SPK on Sat night. I absolutely loved the fact that they took the temperature of everyone who entered the establishment. They also hand sanitizer stands everywhere. I really felt safe dining here. The ambiance and overall vibe was great. Unfortunately the food left a bit to be desired in my opinion. The pork chop was delicious and juicy. The greens tasted as if they were dunked in vinegar. The corn pudding was tasteless. My dining partner had the pecan fried catfish which she allowed me to sample. The pecan was subtle and was just ok. The macaroni was okay. On a better note, our waiter was very attentive.
Everything was excellent from the food to the service highly recommended.
An excellent southern menu, specifically non-Carolinian. Delicious blue plate special fried chicken, my wife had the oyster Po’boy. Our friends from Maine were wowed. Thank you!

This was my second visit. I did the seafood gumbo this time with a Drink from the bar. It was delicious.
The hostess was friendly . We met the manager the week before... he was amazingly friendly with a great mask smile.... lol
Wesley, my table attendant was the reason I returned the second time because of his kindness , courteousness and professionalism.
I plan to make this my weekly getaway.

Service was a little slow. Food was about room temperature and could have been warmer. But the taste of the food was good.
My husband and I love Southern Pecan, the food, service and atmosphere are wonderful! It is our new celebration restaurant!
Service was very poor. There seemed to be confusion over who had responsibility for our table. At times two separate servers would come by asking the same questions. At other times, servers would disappear for extraordinary lengths of time.
Not that we were worried, but one would never have guessed COVID was going on. Restaurant was full and looked like a normal weekend night. We had a booth with each booth separated by a full height panel.
With it being our first time, I mistakenly thought our reservation would have secured a prepared table for us. It’s more like an Outback reservation. When we arrived we were offered a hi-top at the bar or a table on the heated patio. After requesting an indoor table, management accommodated and found us a booth.
Food was good. Time in between courses was quite long. When it came time to pay the bill, servers disappeared.
Ambience, wait staff and the food was exceptional. Definitely recommend the Pecan encrusted catfish and the blackened redfish

We had a hard time deciding what to order bc the menu was packed with fantastic options. We had the soup of the day (tasty tomato!), the layered goat cheese and beet salad (looked beautiful!) and the bbq pork corn cakes (very filling!) Everything was delicious and we will return!

Amazing chicken and dumplings. Soft as pillow dumplings with savory chicken breast. Be prepared to be stuffed afterwards. Look forward to visiting again very soon.
Gumbo was warm, not hot. Same as the Flatbread. Did not want to bother the server about it though because she was the only one on the floor (although she did get some help from the bartender & hostess but not much).
I enjoyed the atmosphere, the decor the noise level was low. The food choices were great I tried the baked stuffed flounder and my wife had the catfish both were cooked perfectly. Definitely a great choice for date nights, not too fancy but will definitely impress.

What a wonderful Valentine's Day meal. This was the first time dining at this Louisiana Kitchen. Hubs started with raw oysters and for entree had blackened redfish and I had stuffed flounder. Both entrees delicious! Dessert was a shared key lime pie and was the best we've ever had. Service was impeccable and we tipped accordingly. Will be going back. Other menu items we want to try. Cocktails could use a couple of "girlie" sweet choices.

Loved the place and service was very good. The food was a mixed experience. The oysters and the fish entry we great. The flat bread pizza wasn’t crispy and the seafood in the gumbo didn’t taste fresh or were over cooked. We had expected to find a bread pudding on the dessert menu and was disappointed it wasn’t offered. We tried the grilled banana bread with ice cream hoping it would be similar but it wasn’t to our liking. The ice cream was good.
I’m in love with this restaurant!!! Food amazing, service fantastic and awesome music playing!! Merlin was our waiter, couldn’t have asked for better. This was our first time, but definitely won’t be our last!!!
