Southern Pacific Brewing was named after the Southern Pacific railroad that ran through San Francisco in the early 1900s. The restaurant and brewery are set in a 10,000-square foot warehouse that has been renovated into an expansive, bright space with an upper mezzanine and outdoor patio.
Serving primarily American cuisine, Southern Pacific Brewing also has an extensive collection of beers made on premises in its 15-barrel mechanical system brewery. The menu has lunch and dinner options such as chicken quesadillas, burgers, yam and bacon pizza and baked cast iron mac Ôn cheese to name only a few. Southern Pacific Brewing also offers vegetarian options.
