We waited over 40 minutes for our food. The wait staff delivered the incorrect meal 3 times and when we did receive it, the chicken was cold. They didn't feel the need to apologize or discount the meal. Our glasses went empty most of the time and we had to ask for our refills. In the end, the server brought us 1 dessert to share amongst 3 people "to show I care"...

This place was recommmended for a Sunday brunch. The mimosas were great and the food was fantastic, although my eggs were a little on the cool side but still good. I am very picky when it comes to eating collard greens from restaurants. Most of the time they’re bland, but SH’s greens made me sing on the first bite. I’ll definitely return for more.

The food was excellent and was served very quickly. However, our waitress was not easily available. The noise level was extremely high, and conversation was too difficult to maintain without shouting and asking "huh?"

The music was BLASTING when I visited for dinner recently. Even the server thought it was insanely loud. She said it was due to a new manager. He turned it down, but begrudgingly. I don't want to have to scream to be heard.

It would had helped that this restaurant had its address numbers visibly displayed. Someone meeting me there wasn't sure that it was the right address (small critique).

Bar atmosphere but surprisingly quiet for 10 pm on a Thursday night. Food was mixed-- brisket and BBQ chicken-- very good. Chicken tenders and sides-- ok, wouldn't reorder. Service was just ok-- had to keep flagging the gal down for water-- and the place was mostly empty. This place could be great-- they've got the BBQ down-- the rest needs some work.

This was recommended on a list for great boozy brunches. The food was OK - biscuits were small and crumbly, the brisket was a little dry, but the wings, fried chicken and waffles were really good. The mimosas were a little watery.

We went to Southern Hospitality for brunch on a Saturday around 12. The food is southern breakfast (as expected), and al our dishes were so good! If you ordered an entree, you could choose to get unlimited drinks (mimosa, Bellini, screwdriver, or Bloody Mary) for an additional cost. Never once did any of our glasses get empty. It was constant refills, and constant check ins from our waitress, which was amazing! Tables do have a two hour limit due to the unlimited mimosas, but we never felt rushed. For the first hour we were there, the restaurant was slowly getting busier, but the noise was still quiet. The latter half (remember: unlimited mimosas), the rooms were pretty loud and it felt as though we were yelling our conversation. Overall, great location, food, and drinks. I'd definitely recommend this place!

The fries were covered in Cajun spice...even my kids. This was not specified on the menu and we didn't like them. My burger tasted burnt even though it didn't appear to be. 2 of us has major stomach upset through the night after our meal. The waitress did not seem too familiar with the menu which I feel she should be if she is working there. The only positive I can say is I was not charged for my margherita which I sent back because it was awful and my 2 girls enjoyed their non-alcoholic shirley temples. .

All of the food was great! So was the service! Only constructive feedback is the music was too loud for our server to even hear us give our order. But overall a very fun environment.

We booked here because we had out teenage nephew & niece visiting and thought they might enjoy it. We weren't sure the adults would though. We were pretty surprised, it's a fun, lively spot and the service was friendly and hospitable. Part of our group was half an hour late and they simply said "don't worry, we are here all night", instead of being bothered we were taking up a prime table. The food was surprisingly good, baby back ribs, crispy fried shrimp and fried chicken salad. The portions are way too big so I would suggest sharing entrees, we had too much food.

Went for brunch with a friend this past Sunday...had a great time, the food was good. Does get a bit loud. The wait staff was fun and helpful. I was there a couple of weeks ago for brunch with a different friend and completely enjoyed the live music...I picked this place again because of the music and missed it, this past Sunday...bring it back.

We ate brunch at the bar and the bartender was very nice and efficient, but that was about it. Our food came out five minutes after we ordered it, probably because it was precooked then reheated. The scrambled eggs were so dry, they were tough and crunchy; the grits were so dry, they had a crust; and the pulled pork wasn't pulled - it was just big fatty chunks. I doubt we'll go back.

Made a last minute reservation. Out of town friends came into town for their anniversary to see a show. When I told the staff about the anniversary they brought over a complimentary bottle of champagne! The service was amazing and the food is always good.

I don't write many reviews, but I've been going here for years. Even when they're crazy crowded the staff is always friendly and accommodating. There are several options in the neighborhood, but they consistently get it right. SO many others in the neighborhood could take lessons from the management and staff here. This remains one of my favorites!

The host was delightful and reminded us to leave room for dessert, but that didn't work out. I ordered the fried chicken salad that was so filling and my husband ate the fried chicken dinner and also couldn't finish it. He ordered the 4 for $10 NY beer special and enjoyed that. At $11 for a glass of Sangria, I passed on that. Prices were high (over $20 for fried chicken and a biscuit), but glad we checked it out.

I was really disappointed with the service throughout the night. My husband and I had a reservation and were immediately sat, but waited over 15 minutes for the server to come to our table. I was about to get up and ask the hostess if there had been a mistake and maybe the server wasn't aware she had a table. Finally she came over and I realized it was the server who had been chatting with another table the entire time. nearby. She took our drink and food order (I ordered a dirty martini on the rocks and my husband ordered a beer flight) and returned 10 minutes later with just mine. When we asked about his she said they were working on it. 8-10 minutes later our food arrived via another employee and he still did not have his drink order. We asked about it and he left to find our server and she walked over a minute later with it. So it was easily 20-25 minutes between when he ordered a drink to when he got it. I had a cobb salad which was average, but the buffalo wings were fantastic. I watched our server for the next 25 minutes spend all of her time at the one table of people she appeared to know well. Finally when she came back we were done and asked for the check. For a place called Southern Hospitality... that was certainly lacking.

Went for my birthday brunch. The service was particularly slow, we waited about 20 minutes to get the check. Even when one of our guests had stepped out and another was standing by the table looking for the waiter. The food was just OK. We asked for biscuits to come first and it came with the meal. Lots of other little things that made it just OK.
