Great food. And drinks
Slow. It took 80 minutes for a business lunch while the place was empty.
Our waiter, Chris was very elegant and poise. He did everything with grace and professionalism. Loved it! Please give him a raise or something cause he personalized each one of our experiences which i loved . And he was so knowledgeable about the dishes too!
Before going to this restaurant, we checked the Sunday brunch menu online. It stated that there is a buffet and multiple other items. When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked our server about the buffet. She said that it was just for breakfast and not brunch. We were not sure why it was on the brunch menu. The server was very attentive at first, but once we placed our order, she disappeared. I would not recommend the restaurant.
Service was extremely slow considering there was only four other tables with patrons. My meal wasn’t made properly and I waited over 10 min to have it corrected. The sense of urgency is lacking as is the customer service. When I brought my concern to the waitress and manager it hey seemed like they could care less. Very disappointed.
Food was amazing and my hubby loved the fried chicken. The salmon was cooked perfectly!
I have been to this restaurant several times, and LOVED it. However, it has been a few years since I have been there. I am the one who chose this restaurant to celebrate our mother's 81st birthday because we were staying nearby and feel terrible. I did not make any issues at the restaurant because we were trying to enjoy our celebration and my other and brother were already about to melt down because of the service and I didn't want to further ruin the night. Went to dinner there 11/9/19 and we had a terrible experience. They were severely understaffed. At first, service was good but as dinner went on it was horrendous. There were no bus people and the servers did everything so it was too overwhelming. Cocktails took forever all night to get to us from the bar. We asked for several things that we never got, or took forever (water, ice, hot sauce, honey). Took forever to get our food. No dirty dishes/glasses were cleared from our table in any timely fashion- we had dirty glasses on our table all night long, and a dirty soup bowl was there through dinner & dessert. The server then made a major error in my sister's bill, overcharging her by more than $100. For what we paid (about $100 per person), this was an awful night. Food was fine, but not worth it. So sad to see this restaurant, which was a go-to in Atlanta, become so awful :-(
We had reservations and were seated outside (per our request). However, after receiving our water, our server was nowhere to be seen for 15 minutes. We were the only ones dining outside so perhaps he forgot about us? We had another engagement we needed to have time to make it to, so we decided to leave. The manager, Charles stopped us on the way out and insisted we stay. He was absolutely wonderful! He offered complimentary apps and dessert and would not take no for an answer when we declined. He made what could have been an inconvenient experience an excellent one!
I have been comming here when I’m in town for 10 yrs This time my mom had chicken soup all starch Biscuits not great taste like all dough inside. What happen to the chef Fried chicken was good I will never come back. It’s sad after 10 yrs. but I will have the memory when it was good

The restaurant wasn’t what was pictured on the website. The menu wasn’t what was on the website. The menu, service and restaurant was very misleading. The restaurant was in hotel and we didn’t even know it was open or not. The chandeliers and furniture had dust all over it. The service was very slow and there was only 2 tables eating at 8pm. The suggestions of options was not good. Very disappointed.

Chris was our waiter. He was so engaging. He was educated on the wine selections. We had the best time talking with him. The food was spot on. We truly enjoyed or dining experience .

Delicious fried chicken! What a treat to have Art Smith’s creation. Brussels sprouts were to die for.
We enjoyed a wonderful team lunch with tasty food and excellent service.
Went for brunch the menu was much smaller and different from the regular menu not many choices expected more... but the French toast was delicious and so were the breakfast potatoes. Eggs were fluffy lacked seasoning but you can add your own. I think on Sunday’s you should stay open longer than 2pm most people hay have late starts and get out of church won’t be able to enjoy. The mimosa special should be advertised i wasn’t aware until i order my second one. Only suggestions would be expanding the brunch menu and the time open on Sunday’s the staff was great.
Every one was very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed coming in for breakfast, the food was fantastic.
So good. Get the biscuits, the deviled eggs, the fried chicken, the shrimp and grits...everything is so good!
We had a party of three originally scheduled to eat on the patio, but my daughter who's very allergic to bug bites, encountered some mosquitos and we elected to eat inside. The staff was very accommodating and made the transition seamlessly. We started with the meatballs appetizer, which was very good (I thought they were outstanding, my wife said they were good). I ordered the special that evening, filet mignon and it was outstanding as well! My wife and daughter's food was excellent, as well. Service was outstanding. It was an early dinner, but the atmosphere was still very good. I'd highly recommend this restaurant and I will return next time I'm in Buckhead.

Greg, our server was fabulous! I got the Lamb Shank special and it was delicious. Wife got the their "famous" fried chicken, but it seemed a little over-cooked. Other than that, the experience was great. The Charcuterie Board appetizer was especially good, and of course, the Bourbon cocktails great!
Chris was awesome. Great service and great food! Recommend the truffle deviled eggs and biscuits! Yum!

Great service and delicious food
Every item on the menu was so tempting we wish there was a tasting meal for all of the items. The biscuits were amazing and a great prelude to the chicken and dumpling soup. Shrimp and grits were so creamy and luscious, I have to say the best I’ve ever had. The buttermilk fried chicken was perfect, crispy and juicy. But the star of the entire meal was the collard greens. Dry, not vinegary, flavorful with cornbread crumbles, a perfect side. I could have made a meal of the collards. After this meal I plan on buying one of Art’s cookbooks just to attempt to repeat the meal.
John gave excellent service!! My wife and I dined there for our anniversary. She enjoyed the salmon while I enjoyed the shrimp and grits.
A big shout out to Gregory our server. We enjoyed our meal and intend to return.
Food was overcooked, tastless,. Service was top notch. Burbon bar was good . Stay away from the fried chicken if you like your teeth. Cheese plate had potted meat on it.
Food was delicious, not a huge menu but that is what should be expected with quality food. The kids loved the southern fried chicken, biscuits and fried green tomatoes were incredible.
We had a wonderful meal. I had shrimp and grits and field peas were added which added that something extra flavor. The service was spectacular. I had the mini beignets for desert. As if beignets alone were great the chef added chocolate center and warmed chocolate and warmed caramel for dipping. Loved it.
The food was like bad room service. It was extremely overpriced! The bacon was cold, the French toast was hard, and the avocado toast was disgusting. The bread was soggy, and the avocado was hard as a rock.
This was a terrible dining experience. We should’ve gone back to The Flyin Biscuit! Do not go here.
This review is specific to the Sunday brunch buffet. I've had dinner here before and had a great experience. My boyfriend and I booked a package at the hotel that included breakfast. We decided to go to the restaurant rather than do in room dining. We got down there at 10:15 and breakfast ends at 11. We were told that with our rate, we could actually do the buffet, which we said was great! For us it was part of the rate but for any other patron it's $30 per person.
Again, it was still 45 mins before breakfast ends and everything had been completely picked over. All of the items were cold, the sausage was dried out and overly cooked, the bacon was raw, the breakfast pizza and eggs were cold, the meat and cheese were warm and there were barely any left. The blue cheese block was hard and yellow. The only option really was waffle or omlette because they were made to order but I actually don't like eggs and I'm not a big sweets person in the morning.
The only decent thing I could find was a bagel, fruit and breakfast potatoes which were all great. I'm just really saying this as a warning for anyone planning on eating there. If you go after 10am expect to spend a lot of money on a bunch of awfulness
Brunch buffet is plentiful and diverse. Staff is engaging and professional. Thoughtfully done from the fresh honey comb to local sources grits with assortments of cheeses.
John treated us like family from the start & took care of us thoroughly from pre-dinner drinks through dessert & coffee. It was my wife’s birthday & a date night for us. She had the fried chicken & I had the shrimp & grits, both highly recommended by John & they did not disappoint. The 12 layer Red Velvet Cake, served on a Happy Birthday chocolate inscribed plate topped a perfect date night & birthday celebration. Kudos to Southern Art & John!
great service and aesthetically pleasing environment. however, food was not seasoned well and wasn't tasty at all. therefore, I didnt think it was a good value. I had higher expectations from someone who was a former chef of Oprah.
Absolutely wonderful experience from the busboy to the waiter top-notch service. The food was incredible. My daughters and I agree hands-down best fried chicken, best mac & cheese, and best brussels sprouts we’ve ever had. In the red velvet cake was to die for! GREAT experience!
