   We were told that everything on the menu was good, and everything we ordered pretty much was (shrimp Alfredo, chicken Caesar salad) with the exception of the sweetness on the pizza (my husband doesn’t eat many sweets) and the cheesecake being too cold to eat (hadn’t thawed completely) but was good the next day! Our waiter was very pleasant as well!

   Small local bar atmosphere. Old wooden decor layout. Street parking was not an issue on a Monday night.

   We always love the South Village Grill. However, it was good as always but we were limited to a 3 course brunch. Each course had only with 3 choices per course. I didn’t know it would be a fixed menu. I realize it was Easter Sunday, but was never informed about the special menu. I would have appreciated a heads up.

   If you can go on a day when the calamari is fresh and tender, it’s the best calamari in Columbus! Unfortunately this visit was a bad calamari experience- verrrry chewy and all stuck together in one big clump. That’s what happens when you live in central Ohio and love calamari I suppose 🤷🏽‍♀️

   This was my first experience at South Village Grill and I'll have to say it was very underwhelming for the quality of the items we ordered. The Brussel Sprouts were undercooked and did not have any pecans as noted in the menu. I ordered Sushi and was later notified that they were out of rice and would need 20 additional minutes and wanted to know if I would like to order something else. In the meantime, my wife's order was delivered to the table and I waited an additional 20 minutes for a salad with grilled salmon that was well done when I ordered medium rare. The staff was very apologetic and professional for these mishaps. I would like to try again to give the South Village Grill a second chance.

   We had another great meal at S. Village Grille. Staff are always very attentive and the menu options all delicious!

   This was our first visit to South Village Grille and we were quite pleased with everything. Definitely will be back soon!

    Really good food and inventive cocktails. Desserts are delicious. Oysters were ok , large and meaty but some looked mangled by whoever was shucking them. Salmon and short rib were perfectly cooked. Mushroom toast was a great appetizer..
