I booked my reservation with Open Table and confirmed 3x. Once I arrived the hostess did not have my large party of 8. I was celebrating my birthday and even noted that in the comments section. I Was very disappointed with feature. When I call the restaurant its a continuous busy signal like its 1985.

I had booked a reservation through Open Table at this restaurant because they claimed to be participating in Restaurant Week. However, when we got there, they handed me regular menus, and when I inquired about the Restaurant Week menu I had seen on the website, they said they were not doing that menu that night. The food was pretty decent, but the menu was limited and none of the items were similar to the Restaurant Week menu. My whole experience was kind of ruined by the let down of not getting the meal I was anticipating. I do not know if I will be returning to this restaurant.

Very nice inside. Please don’t let the outside fool you. Inside was very chic. We all enjoyed our food. Definitely going back again.

We had the Sunday brunch. I think it was a little overpriced considering the lack of variety and options available. The buffet was often empty and there was one person doing the carving station, waffles and omelets.

The wait staff was excellent the food was excellent. We had a wonderful time.

Beautifully redecorated. Our server, Anna, was very welcoming and informative. The warm rolls were so delicious we kept picking at them all through dinner. Although the Reuben sandwich wasn't available that evening, we enjoyed both the cheeseburger and the ravioli. The French fries were really good, too. The wine is available in three different sized pours and was very good. Can't wait to return.

Great food choices. The lobby refresh looks awesome as I remember the old aqua 80s decor. Service by Queen was too notch.

I took my sister to Whitney's for her birthday. The employees immediately acknowledged her birthday, due to the birthday hat she was wearing. They were extemely nice to us. The service was great, along with the food. The food was delicious, along with the drinks. They even took off 10% of the bill due to my sister's birthday. The restaurant is currently being remodeled, making it much smaller than normal. Other than that, it will not stop me from returning. Great restaurant!

Sunday brunch doesn't include bloody Mary's or any alcohol because of Oak Lawn local laws. Food selection very sparce, typical faire not done especially well. Small space, washroom is all the way on the other side of the hotel.

The first thing they told me was they were not honoring Open Table reservations. I asked why they didn't tell customers, or more importantly, Open Table. They acted like it was my fault, and I should have called the restaurant. If I wanted to wait an hour or two, they would try to squeeze us in. I went ballistic and demanded to see the manager at which point they suddenly found us a table. The place is also being renovated and they had food out in the lobby and in the hallways. They added an 18 percent gratuity for a buffet, only brought one Mimosa each and did not bother clearing the plates at all. Would have been nice at McDonald's

We had the lunch buffet. Limited selections with no fruit or dessert choices. Not the Whitney's of old. Will not return.

Everything was great other than they are doing remodeling so it is a little small at the moment

Our waitress was outstanding in service and personality! We will definitely be back! I wish I would have gotten her name :(. She had blonde hair and was a tad bit older than the other waitress on duty. We loved her!

Food was cold, sausage and biscuits, French toast were all cold

Wonderful brunch buffet! I love that kids under 6 are free, because you just never know if kids are going to really eat or not. Ours loved the waffle station, and the adults loved everything else! Especially the omelettes. We had to flag someone down for refills but the staff was very nice. Excellent value!

I really love going here for Sunday brunch. There are so many things to choose from on the buffet. The food is excellent. I liked the atmosphere a tiny bit better before they remodeled a few years ago, but it's still very nice. Most importantly, my 9 month old niece was there and the staff was very sweet to her.

The service was extremely slow. Waited almost two hours for entrees.

So disappointed! They charged my credit twice! My bill was rather large so I had to wait 3 days before my money was available to me, as they had a hold on $200 that they double charged for!

That staff was absolutely amazing as soon as we stepped in the restaurant! They warmly acknowledged us then quickly seated us in our preferred area. The menu on a iPad was a big surprise, in a good way. The wait time for the appetizer and entrees was normal, no complaints. The atmosphere was calm and romantic! Since it’s was my birthday, the staff treated me to a decadent slice of chocolate cake! Mmm. I would definitely recommend Whitney’s for an unforgettable dinning experience!

Service was poor. Long wait for server to check in at table. Couldn't even get my water glass refilled without undue wait.
Considering the few guests in the restaurant, I'd hate to be there when it was more crowded.

Dining room was not completely full . This visit brunch was little better than a past visit I made. If my server Jodi was better , this would of been a great experience .

Disappointed in presentation and quality of grilled chicken sandwich. Burger pattie was very dry. Meat loaf is very good. Had a discount coupon so that helped soothe the disappointment. Celebrating a birthday, noted on reservation, and absolutely nothing was offered. Previous visit was much, much better. Perhaps Chef Jen was not there.

The root salad that I had was fresh, well presented and extremely flavorful. The burger and fries were cooked to perfection. The fries are cooked and seasoned such that the couldn’t stop eating them. I had a cosmos cocktail and it was one of the best that I have had in a long time. I will remember this meal and the great service. Treat yourself to the experience.

Food was cold for the Sunday Brunch buffet. Service was slow. Asked for medium steak and it was cooked very well done. The server did comp some of the meal and brought me another steak. If the food was warm it would have been a better experience. We will try again in hopes it was just a bad day.

Food and value were amazing. Service (Israel) was out of this world.

Handy Andy used to rent the top floor for Christmas parties. This is a restaurant with polite very good service and well prepared food. The environment is cozy and relaxed, I felt good eating there on Christmas Day.

Whoever is managing the restaurant is doing a good job.

We went on a Friday night around 630pm. There was 1 server and 1 busboy working! Luckily only 6 tables being used, but I felt bad for the server. She did as good as she could have! The manager came by at two different times and checked to see if everything was going alright (very awkward and rushed interaction as he was spinning his radio around while asking). Clearly his focus was on the bridal party/wedding group in the bar as he didn't help out the server in any way the entire time we were there. The food was pretty good (minus the pizza). We had been here once before and our experience the first time was better but still nothing to rave about. Mostly surprised that on a Friday, with $4 Happy hour food and drink specials, for 3 hours, they could only manage 6 tables in restaurant and actually expected that based on having 1 server staffed.

Cherie's service was slow and inaccurate. Ordered salads and apps and she forgot to place salad orders. Had to ask again which made me late, taking salads to go. Did not pack to go utensils.
