    Great way to end my birthday! Noah, Sherwin, and Kayla were amazing!!! Staff were very professional and nice. I enjoyed the live jazz, food, and the overall ambience. Will visit again!

    I just feel like the tables are SO small and too close together. For a restaurant that’s on the higher end, they could definitely do better with this situation. Just very uncomfortable.

    Always a treat to stop here, the food never disappoints, the cocktails are spot on and the atmosphere is lively and beautiful!! I highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits

    The night was great and the dinner was amazing. I ordered the beef short rib dinner, deviled eggs appetizer, a few lemon drops and a bread pudding for desert. However, I went to heat up my bread pudding for 30 seconds. I cut it with a fork and found a baked in plastic chip baked into the pudding. It's melted, brown and I will not eat this. This makes me wonder what else was in the food I missed because I wasn't expecting this. Won't eat here again.

    SOUTH was the an excellent option after seeing Michelle O at The Met. Super classy. Food was yummy and service was superb. I would recommend a visit.

    There is not one mediocre thing on the menu. It is ALL so damn good. Food… drinks… all of it. A beautiful experience from the moment you step up to the front door.

    First visit, won't be the last. Excellent food and drink in an ambiance that makes you feel special but not bougie. Do NOT skip the pineapple bread pudding - absolutely stupid good!!!

    South has some of the best elevated comfort food in the city and it all comes with great jazz music and a very affordable wine list. Service was attentive, loved the vibe of the restaurant. Loved the fried green tomatoes appetizer, sauce was excellent. We shared the crab cakes, delicious, and also the catfish and shrimp entrée, nice portions and well worth the price.

    I’ve dined at SOUTH several times but I think this was my favorite time visiting. From the minute we walked in we were greeted and felt welcomed. We initially were going to be seated at the Counter but the host was able to seat us in the lounge area which was more comfortable. Our waitress was excellent! Our food came out in a reasonable timely manner and it was delicious. Can’t wait to have dinner again at SOUTH!

    Last night was the first time my date and I went to SOUTH restaurant and it was an amazing experience. The ambience gave a southern home feel. The lighting was perfect for an intimate evening. The food was cooked to perfection *chef kisses*. The drinks were delicious as well. The jazz music was a nice addition. My server was Guy and he was the best and very accommodating. Guy made our experience so much better with his warm welcome and great personality. I will be definitely coming back to this restaurant again!

    I throughly enjoyed my time at SOUTH jazz kitchen. The ambiance of the establishment was welcoming, our server was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable of the menu and helping us decided what we wanted to eat .

    Ambiance was lovely, service was great until dessert was ordered and it took 35 minutes to arrive at our table. The rib also came out room temp on the inside, warm on the outside. Cornbread and fried chicken were good. Greens were not for us. Ordered 2 raspberry lemon drops and they were extremely sweet. Mac n cheese was also not a great suggestion for us but I’m sure it’s for someone.

    My first time leaving a review and I had to this time. I went here for my birthday and got the best service ever best food ever and the best dinner ever. To start off the place’s aesthetic is unbeatable. Our server was so so nice loved his energy. The manager of the restaurant stopped by to say hi and I just have to accentuate how genuine everyone is towards costumer service and everyone dining there having the best experience. Asked about their flower arrangements they were an absolute gem the person in charge came to our table with the info. GET THE CORNBREAD yes all caps. The live music was good made the noise level higher but pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit more often myself. Everyone was too nice and the food was too good.

    Everything at this restaurant was phenomenal. From the ambience to the service to the food, it all was very pleasant. Our waitress Deets was amazing and very attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were too. 10/10 restaurant. Definitely recommend for others and will be back.
