South City Kitchen Buckhead
Book your next event with us
A must stop when in Atlanta. I have typically gone to the Midtown location. The one in Buckhead is just as good.
Fantastic southern fare, great service and ambiance. When we first sat down, it was very loud. Our server came in and immediately said the music was too loud. He went and asked for the music to be turned down and everything was great after that. The biscuits and cornbread are amazing. The fried chicken (which we ordered on the side!) was delicious, and I am a fan of the shrimp and grits.
Birthday Celebrations are amazing. From their rewards program I earned a free birthday meal and a dessert. Of course, you must show your loyalty throughout the year! Service was relaxed formal, four different seating options (upstairs, outdoor, formal dinning, and bar) allows any type of occasion.
Overall nice - had a global team in town and we were introducing Southern food. Trainee waiter was nice but needs to be taught how to uncork a bottle of wine & the lead server needed to check in more. Left $$ in my wallet
Great experience! Food was great and drinks amazing.
The food was extremely bland and was nothing to write home about. The ambiance was good, low lighting and pretty quite. Truthfully, I would not go back or recommend this place to friends as the food was extremely lackluster and tasteless. ESPECIALLY the fried green tomatoes...yuck!
Very salty food so be careful what you order.
Always love this place. Brunch was excellent. That brisket Benedict is a win and a brûlée banana bread pudding for dessert?? How can you go wrong. Thanks for another great visit!
The Atmosphere, food and service was great as usual! I always enjoy myself at this place!
Amazing Valentine’s Day
Everything was good, however, we did not enjoy the dinner served with the prefix Valentine’s Day menu. The ambience was amazing and we will be returning.
The waiter was pushing to turn the table. We only needed a few hours for the dinner meeting but the pressure to order and move on was annoying.
Fantastic! We were late for our reservation on Valentine’s Day. We called to let them know and they held it.
Upon our arrival, they correctly assumed who were were and were very gracious. They treated us like arrangements bing family members and as they took us to our primo table by a window, they told us to relax, it’s okay we are late and that a drink will help us do just that.
Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and present, but not intrusive. The food was as described and delicious.
The team concept worked well as multiple team members delivered our meal. Management was clearly visible and frequently walked through the dining room. They briefly engaged with each table and made it feel like they were engaging with old friends.
Valentines Day lunxh
Service was nice, and drinks were great. The Welcome to Atlanta might have been the smoothest drink I’ve had in a while. Food was great.
Great service. Good southern menu. Easy valet parking. Will go again
The whole experience was amazing. The service, the view and food was excellent .
I will be going back to this location again.
A consistent level of relaxed formal dinning with an excellent wine and beverage list. One of the best place for celebrations in Atl
Celebrated a friend's birthday for lunch. When making reservation asked for a nice "quiter' table which, we got. We ordered a glass of wine and waited a short while to order. Our waiter was very pleasant and didn't seem to mind. The food was delicious - the Ceasar salad with fried chicken = delectable! The restaurant is very nice looking, but it does seem to get noisy when crowded. Ask for a table in the room by the driveway - that room seemed a little less noisy. I look forward to going back soon.
Loved the food - service was excellent. Biscuits literally melted in your mouth. Had to get dessert to go.If you like southern food with a modern twist you should go!
Great location, seating in the front is awesome... quite and Very quaint. Plus you get to look at all the desserts! 👍🏾Awesome for my birthday dinner with 2 of my friends
Had a great birthday celebration here !
Overall, I had a wonderful time. The staff, from the hostess’ to the servers, were all great and made the night special for my boyfriend and I. I’m looking forward to going back soon!
We were here for the Bourbon and Vine event, and it did not disappoint. Thanks for a great experience. We were happy tobe a part, and we look forward to the next event!
Not as good as I remembered.
Probably won’t go back.
Server was incredibly attentive and the salmon was delicious
I paid 40+ dollars for three racks of lamb and something that looked like pulled meat. No potatoes or vegetables.
Great Sunday brunch
The food was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was perfect. Definitely a great restaurant to attend.
Our overall experience was great. We were seated promptly. Everyone was very pleasant the entire night. Food was amazing. I had the smoked quail and it was superb.
Bar service was slightly understaffed for a busy Friday night in Atlanta.
My favorite when in ATL!
Great food. Amazing service. Wonderful cocktails. Good for business and good for friends.
Great food & amazing service.
Absolutely terrific food and service! Incredible upscale southern cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.
Great meal and service!
The food was excellent and the service was great
I ordered the crab cake entree. The crab cake had too much breadcrumbs. I also ordered some grits with Gouda cheese which were under seasoned.
Everything was great! The food was delicious and our server Jody was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant for brunch.
Brunch with family and friends visiting Atlanta for the weekend. We were a large group, politely reluctant to seat us until all had arrived, but accommodated is when we said the rest were close. The service was very good- food arrived at the same time, impressive for a large group. Everyone loved what they ordered. The biscuits and cornbread - deadly delicious. Have heard every meal is a winner. Not cheap but not a bank account buster, definite aligned with the quality and atmosphere. Worth every penny.
